The best restaurants in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

What a lovely place , the tearoom staff and the owner are amazing and so friendly. With a vintage eclectic theme and beautiful china this place is like something out of Alice in wonderland meets Diagon Alley with such a cozy vibe. The food is fresh and lovely and the staff came around with tasters of Victoria sponge whilst we enjoyed our food . Will definitely return to this place such a relaxing experience thankyou !

A cold and wet day in Scarborough was brightened by our visit to the lifeboat fish bar, we chose to eat out despite the weather as eating fish and chips out of the paper is the best, staff were chatty and very friendly and polite, the haddock was cooked to order and so was piping hot, the chips cooked to perfection, only fish shop we will ever use in Scarborough because I don’t believe you can get better

Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

Exactly what we needed to fuel for a day of walking. A generous sized, no nonsense breakfast and a mug of tea. Cash only but there's an atm 2 mins away.

This place deserves a good review. Superb full English & good cafetière coffee. Loved the whole vibe, the music the setting and the food too. A brucey bonus that it was dog friendly as we were walking the Cleveland Way with ours.

This Inn is cosy and welcoming. Dog friendly and Pete & Co are charming and honest. Food is AMAZING and will 100% stay again

The service here is amazing, super helpful and friendly and I can highly recommend the Yorkshire Fatties. We bought some last year on our holiday to Whitby, we have been back this week on holiday and have bought some more. I pre-ordered 8 to bring home too 🙂 I would highly recommend you visit if you are in Whitby.

Second time having breakfast at The Pines for me, third for my mum and brother with whom I come on holiday to lovely Filey. I can see how the local older folk love this little cafe but you don't have to be old to appreciate its charm or indeed a good, reasonably priced English breakfast. Malcolm is a great host with his cheeky banter!

Lovely breakfast here today, freshly cooked. Staff were really pleasant and brought the food over to the table. Would definitely recommend and return if we were in the area again

Coffee in here is always spot on and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Always a friendly and pleasant service 🤌🏻 Best cuppa in town.

Exploring the town, we want a place to sit down for a sandwich and drink. This place suited the bill and seating was available inside. Nice selection of lunchtime offerings and the service was quick and pleasant

We found this hidden gem on our recent visit to Whitby. The breakfast was lovely and we had a good portion size. I also ordered the salted caramel and banana milkshake and it was one of the best I've had. The food was lovely and very well priced but the shinning star was Ross. The owner had such great sense of humour and was very chatty and welcoming. He made my partners day with his gaming chat. Honest, hardworking man that made this place different to others 😀 Thank you. Hemos estado aquí varias veces ahora. Gran café, fabulosos cannoli, preciosos auténticos dulces italianos a la hora del almuerzo. Personal amable y propietarios. Maravillosa cafetería italiana, el helado se ve fantástico también con muchos sabores excelentes para elegir. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Maravilloso hallazgo.

Myself and family are regularly in the coast cafe having a range of things either drinks, sweet treats or food and every time its lovely an I would definitely recommend to anyone. The entertainment that they put on is equally brilliant.
