Amazing Amazing Amazing. We just love this place. The staff are so lovely, they make you feel so welcome. The cafe is cosy and the bacon baps and coffee are incredible.

On our daughter’s recommendation we booked a meal at this restaurant and we’re so glad we did. The food was delicious. We ordered lamb shank which was so tender it just fell off the bone and the sauce was so tasty. The ambience was great and the service was excellent. Four brothers also from Slovakia worked there and were so attentive to our needs. People criticise immigrants but we should keep people like them and deport some of our troublemakers instead. We will certainly visit again

Lovely take away fish and chips. All fresh and crispy. I was pleased they did a smaller portion of haddock and chips, it was delightful.

Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

Great breakfast, great prices!! High quality ingredients! Cash only and be prepared to queue but it's worth the wait! Been to Whitby lots of times and finally found it ! Highly recommend

This Inn is cosy and welcoming. Dog friendly and Pete & Co are charming and honest. Food is AMAZING and will 100% stay again

The service here is amazing, super helpful and friendly and I can highly recommend the Yorkshire Fatties. We bought some last year on our holiday to Whitby, we have been back this week on holiday and have bought some more. I pre-ordered 8 to bring home too 🙂 I would highly recommend you visit if you are in Whitby.

Second time having breakfast at The Pines for me, third for my mum and brother with whom I come on holiday to lovely Filey. I can see how the local older folk love this little cafe but you don't have to be old to appreciate its charm or indeed a good, reasonably priced English breakfast. Malcolm is a great host with his cheeky banter!

We visited here on a Saturday morning, there were only a couple of tables free, lovely atmosphere, dogs are allowed in. We had drinks and my daughter had a bacon sandwich, really nice and not too expensive. We will definitely visit again for something to eat!

Visited twice this weekend, lunch Friday, breakfast this morning before leaving for home .Staff are lively,very helpful, food delicious, generous portions. Best coffee in a cafe that I have had for a long time. Thank you all,see you next time!

Exploring the town, we want a place to sit down for a sandwich and drink. This place suited the bill and seating was available inside. Nice selection of lunchtime offerings and the service was quick and pleasant

We found this hidden gem on our recent visit to Whitby. The breakfast was lovely and we had a good portion size. I also ordered the salted caramel and banana milkshake and it was one of the best I've had. The food was lovely and very well priced but the shinning star was Ross. The owner had such great sense of humour and was very chatty and welcoming. He made my partners day with his gaming chat. Honest, hardworking man that made this place different to others 😀 Thank you. We have been here a number of times now. Great coffee, fabulous cannoli, gorgeous authentic Italian lunchtime treats. Friendly staff and owners. Wonderful Italian café, the gelato looks fantastic too with many great flavours to choose from. Would highly recommend. Wonderful find.
