The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

The best bar in Scarborough. We moved to Scarborough in March and visit here most weeks. We have met new friends and love the place. Best negroni cocktails there are. Dog friendly too. Best ice cream. Love the place ❤️

Our Landlady recommended it to us when we asked about somewhere to eat Italian. Small and bijou.Great staff and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced . A must to visit would go back in a heartbeat.

I've been here three times now and have enjoyed it every time. The cafe is clean, tidy, really nicely decorated and the staff are welcoming. It's somewhere you want to go into and return. I'll be going again as soon as I can!

Excellent food, reasonably priced, had the best bruschetta I have ever had, pasta , pizza, and Italian specialities available. Can’t fault the staff, very friendly and attentive.

Ordered through the Foodpenny app, excellent service. Will order again in the near future :) Plan to tell my friends about this Takeout.

We ordered 5 different dishes. The prices were slightly higher but the choice of food was really impressive. My beef ragu was lovely. Selection of wine was great too. The only down side is we waited around 30-35 minutes for food, and it was not busy (5pm).

Simply awful place, chef that can't cook anything and service with an attitude, no doubt this will also get removed for telling the truth!!!! Walked out before main course it was that bad, undercooked inedible food!, also take some wet wipes as the tables are sticky, yuk, served warm rose wine asked 3 times for ice ended up going to the bar myself to get some!!! Cracking service!!! Oh and by the way the owner purchases 5 star reviews on trip advisor to make him look better then it is! If it's not 5 stars it gets removed. If I could give zero stars i would!!!!!!! JUST TO UPDATE!!!!! This really unprofessional owner decided on March 14th to go to my workplace 60 miles away from the restaurant to seek my home address, I mean wow!!! In the words you use "it will be on cctv" , I also have the original emails you sent to me but I won't post them on here as I'm not like that! Instead of trying to find me and wasting time get yourself to a cookery course! Or maybe a special hospital to sort your sad little Italian attitude out! NOW YOU THINK I SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO WORK AFTER LEAVING A RESTAURANT REVIEW, LAUGHABLE!!!! Was saddened to see some negative reviews, we have been several times before & always loved it so booked a table for 2 to celebrate my birthday. Did not dissapoint, excellent food, attentive & polite service & a really lovely meal. Thank you .... we will be back, again.

We booked a table for a Friday night (advisable as it is a fairly small restaurant) and it was our first visit but had been recommended by friends. The food was excellent, very tasty. There was a specials menu in addition to the usual menu. The house red wine was also superb. Considering it was very busy, the service was also excellent. Our table was ready and waiting and we were served promptly. The cost was very reasonable considering the quality of the meals (and we had a bottle of house red). Definitely a great place to go for a meal if visiting Filey.

I ordered a margharitta in this place at 2030. Got a call to confirm my order at 2032 and was eating delicious pizza at 2045. If you want both an affordable and high quality pizza delivery where you won't have to wait long: this is the pizzeria for you.

Had a lovely meal here as always. Staff were attentive and polite. Lucy on the bar was a real asset to the team and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal out.

Can't fault anything here. Food & service was excellent. This was the 4th October in a row we have visited San Marco and it has never failed to deliver. So here's to 5 in a row.

Decided to call in for a cup of tea as it looked quite cute and appealing. How wrong we were! The woman serving was very unprofessional and not making people very welcome apart from the shady undesirable looking locals at the reserved table. She was openly talking about customers when they were sitting outside and talking about passers by. At one point stating I am in the wrong business as I’m not a people person. We did agree on that. She is rude and very disrespectful for a business owner never mind a lady !! Give it a miss and go to the very cute friendly places along bar street towards town

Visiting Scarborough, stopped at Pomodoro for lunch. Friendly attentive staff, great food, reasonably priced. Would come here all the time if I lived locally!

Tasty food, but slightly overpriced for what it is. Amongst the best pizza around. Dedicated and helpful service without too much fuss.
