The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

We have been here a number of times now. Great coffee, fabulous cannoli, gorgeous authentic Italian lunchtime treats. Friendly staff and owners. Wonderful Italian café, the gelato looks fantastic too with many great flavours to choose from. Would highly recommend. Wonderful find.

Our Landlady recommended it to us when we asked about somewhere to eat Italian. Small and bijou.Great staff and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced . A must to visit would go back in a heartbeat.

I've been here three times now and have enjoyed it every time. The cafe is clean, tidy, really nicely decorated and the staff are welcoming. It's somewhere you want to go into and return. I'll be going again as soon as I can!

First time visiting and will definitely be returning. Lovely cosy restaurant, would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. A good menu choice and exceptional food. The best restaurant I have been to in a long time and very reasonably priced. Staff are very welcoming as soon as you walk in and can't do enough for you. Can't wait to visit again 😀

We had a delightful meal at Tuscany Too the weekend before Christmas. A busy Bistro style restaurant with great staff. The menu has something for everyone and we were all very happy with our choices. I had the lobster ravioli for my main course, and it was excellent. Just after we arrived there was a short visit from a group of musicians who played a selection of festive tunes - a novelty act that seemed all part of the pre Christmas fun. Really good people work here. Thanks again!

Early, unlike most Scarborough takeaways. And the food was really good! Decent portions and tasty identifiable ingredients. Couple of pleasant surprises with the order, not least of which was how good the Parmesan was. I’d have liked chip spice on the chips, it seems rarer and rarer recently, and I think it turns any thin chip delicious! Recommend!

The bar / lounge area was cosy with a roaring fire. What a welcome in such an icy night. I had a great cocktail then we moved into the main dining area. We shared the homemade chicken liver paté which was delicious. Then we had various dishes. Mussels in garlic. Rocket and parmesan side ( with huge amounts of lovely cheese ) a blue cheese and tomato garlic bread , smoked salmon bruschetta and meatballs. We had the best Frascati we've ever had and a lovely Algoianico red. Alessandro really took care of us. Many restaurants are let down by mediocre wine lists. Not here. Yes it's expensive but then anything top notch is.

It was our first time visiting this Restaurant & we were certainly not disappointed. The food & service were excellent & everything was reasonably priced - will certainly return the next time we visit Filey.

Visited this nice looking cafe for a spot of breakfast with my Partner as we thought it was nice looking. I will keep this short and sweet,the lady serving us from extremely rude and unprofessional and at one point told some customers to go outside as she brought there order out and then proceeded to gossip/slag them off to her “mates/friends/locals” in full view of other customers! Avoid this place at all costs as this lady should not be working in a customer service environment and the person who has employed her should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!!!

My husband and I have been buying take away meals and also visiting this fantastic Italian for a few years now . It has never entered my head to write a review because we know how much we love this place, the food, the service the extra care . The laughs we have and joy mean we can’t wait to book again. It’s like going on holiday at home. Salvo is a gem , his staff are so naturally good at their jobs - thank you all so much. Did I say how great the food, wine and deserts are just ate the best cheesecake ever and I should know 😂

Unpretentious decor but food was amazing. Nothing a problem with the waiters and had a thoroughly fantastic time. Would highly recommend

Lovely place to eat , staff and owner are absolutely cracking. Had the most amazing starts and a pasta special with nduja which was stunning the wine to go with this was also excellent quality we had red and rose and our only problem was we were too full to try the gorgeous looking desserts

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday night it didn’t look busy but they told us to come back a hour and 10 minutes later the food we had was nice a lasagna and beef rague and fettuccine portions were reasonably sized and we would eat there again
