Amir and Kamy's Pizza Plaza in Scarborough

I ordered a margharitta in this place at 2030. Got a call to confirm my order at 2032 and was eating delicious pizza at 2045. If you want both an affordable and high quality pizza delivery where you won't have to wait long: this is the pizzeria for you.

Ordered for the first time after seeing such good reviews. I can honestly say this is a little gem. Food was late-but this is a Saturday night at prime time so to speak. They couldn't have been more apologetic, and we received a free pizza and bottle of coke as an apology. It was all hot and as Ordered. We will certainly order again. Thanks! And the kitties loved their nuggets too. 🤣

Amir and Kamy's pizzas catered an event I was at the weekend. They were delivered piping hot and all mixed toppings - some different options to standard pizzas too with plentiful toppings and cheese. Was also informed by friends that they continuously supported Scarborough A&E/hospital throughout Covid taking them countless free orders.

Excellent little takeaway, the man who owns it is really nice and friendly. We have been twice and food was much better when collected. We had a few bits thrown in and had loads left over. Kabab meat and chilli sauce were lovely.

I ordered a mixed kebab for my first visit last night. The doner meat was cold, and wet?? The pitta was soggy. The chicken was dry and overcooked, and they had completely ignored the special instructions about the salad. The handful of chips were ok. There was also a garlic bread I got to share with my partner, and after trying a slice each, it went in the bin. Dry, chewy and just odd. Overall not at all enjoyable. I won't be ordering again, which is a shame because it's literally round the corner.

Great little business, lovely owners and beautiful food. Great value for money and free food gifted which was a lovely touch.

We had a takeaway on the last day of our holiday. We ordered the meal deal 2, 2x 12" pizzas and a donner kebab with 2 portions of chips. The food was delicious and hot and we could not eat it all as there was so much..... but we enjoyed it the next morning after we had packed up for home. We will certainly visit again when we are on holiday in the area.

Ordered from our caravan and food was delivered to caravan park reception, called to let us know when driver was setting off so didn’t miss him. Food was lovely and service spot on. Would recommend x

ordered at 7pm. got to half 8 and the order was late. got in touch with the takeaway and they offered a free pizza or ice cream as compensation. 40 minutes later, over two hours since ordering the food came. pizza was burnt. kebab was missing sauces and the item which they were compensating. won't be ordering again. Complained to just eat. hoping for a full refund. abysmal service

Very greasy. Pizza was almost the consistancy of slime. Parmesan very chewey and I've never seen chicken shred like that. It was also very soggy. Chipped soak in oil. Chicken wrap lathered in sauce so son could not eat as to over powering. Overall awful. Friendly staff on collection though but food went in the bin, now having pot noodles :/

Pizza was hot. Chips weren't stone cold. Chilli sauce rather mild, our taste prefers hotter. Arrived early, which was good as we ordered late in the evening after manic day.Downside - driver was chatting on his phone 🙄 Will go here again at some point

Were away on holiday and ordered from here coz we didnt want to cook and have a treat night...Sorry guys but very disappointed. Very average food. Wouldnt eat here again but thats just our view as a family. Nothing stood out and like i say we ate as a family so a wide variety of food was ordered.

Visiting the area and had to do a drive about to get the baby to nap! 🫣 Popped in for some tea while we were out and we were not disappointed at all. The 2 owners are honestly 2 of the nicest men, so friendly and we chatted about Kamys old fish shop near where I’m from. Food was delicious! All cooked fresh, fresh salad and yummy sauces too. Even gave us a free pizza and 2 cans of pop which was extremely kind! Will definatly be back the next time we visit the area 😀 Thankyou again! X

Food was dreadful. The chicken burger was meant to be a chicken fillet burger but it looked like a chicken nugget and the bread was solid, completely stale. Never ordering from here again.

On our last night of holiday, we came here for a takeaway. We were greeted by Kamy. (Owner) A very kind, very friendly man. He was also very chatty and told us his story of how he came to the Scarborough area and been doing this job for 27+ years in the same place, He spoke of family and his parents. During the conversations, the female assistant was busy cooking our food and preparing our order. A funny man, full of jollity and humour 🤣 A special seasoning for the chips was offered, which is a mix of salt and pepper with some savoury spices and is absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and tasty, the chicken was tender and well flavoured, the donner meat wasn't greasy and the chilli sauce was a very well flavoured recipe. Thank you Kamy and the lady for the food you provided Thank you for your time and consideration Thank you for the pizza Thank you 😊 10 / 10 for this place.

Quite possibly the worst takeaway I’ve ever had, how on earth this has good ratings I’ll never know. Seems like most seaside towns completely fail when it comes to takeaways! I would feel bad feeding this to Philip Schofields brother Chicken strips had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, tandoori chicken no sauce at all, completely dry and completely tasteless. Kebab was super greasy but again no flavour, chips are 90% grease, but also over cooked…pitta bread absolutely rock solid. I’ve done a covid test just to make sure I haven’t lost my sense of taste!

wasn’t good at all don’t get why beautiful coast lines like this have poor restaurants take aways it’s a disgrace we choose this by people’s reviews and probably the best hygiene compared to the rest was unfair I treated my family to one of our regular coastal spots along the east coast and as ever we get a take out off site all lousy honest opinion your food could of been better

Whole wrap tasted of onions Halloumi sticks were fried too much and just crunched pizza tasted watery and garlic was too garlicky looks like they don’t know what they doing

Lovely pizza's great value for money and delivery did not cost more than the food which is a bonus as I live in filey but perfer to use you if you can offer low delivery charges and offers I be using you up to 3 +times a week.

Had to call to see where it was, shortly after it arrived late and cold. To be fair they sent out my order again without argument so saved the situation.
