Our Landlady recommended it to us when we asked about somewhere to eat Italian. Small and bijou.Great staff and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced . A must to visit would go back in a heartbeat.

This was our first visit to Dante’s and we were not disappointed. While we looked at the menu we watched other meals coming out the food looked and smelt delicious. We had bruschetta to share and there were 4 pieces covered in tomato herbs and oil, I had the calamari to start with the portion was generous and cooked to perfect, I also had the starter of mussels for my main course and I was pleased I didn’t have it as a starter the portion was massive. My wife had the meatballs in a rich tomato sauce again the portion size was generous, in fact we brought 3 home and shared them with the dogs they were rich and again gorgeous. The meatballs came with chips and these went back intact. The food was well presented and hot on arrival perfect. The waitress was friendly and efficient in fact all the service was great. Don’t be put off by the decor the food was fabulous definitely worth a visit and we will be going back. Oh and you can take your own wine even though they are small wine list and I’d recommend booking every table was booked out for the night

Best gluten free pizza ever. The gluten one looked pretty good too! Great little find and super service. The rustic feel to the place adds to the ambience.

What a gem to find! Absolutely amazing food. Service fantastic. Had cheese garlic bread to start to share. Delicious 😋 pizza and spicy pasta for mains. So full up couldn’t manage to try dessert. Definitely going back. Leaving car at home next time

Friendly, fresh and great food, small place but got a booking easily enough, shouldn’t have, should be a queue outside - Pizza great and loaded, breads for starters a particular highlight.

4 Harcourt PlaceThis restaurant looks very unassuming on the outside but please don't let this put you off, because the food is cooked in an authentic manner and is absolutely delicious. It is the only restaurant in, Scarborough that I have dined in twice as I appreciate fine food. The waiters are more than helpful, lovely friendly service. More than average portions, (which is always a bonus when eating out) The prices are very reasonable. Well done.👍🏽 I am looking forward to taking my family here when they next visit me and I'm sure that they will not be disappointed. 👍🏽 Update :My partner and I went for a meal on Valentines day (2025)and again wasn't disappointed. The food is still amazing. The staff very helpful and friendly.i had the arranchini with the special pull apart garlic bread. The pizza for main(toppings of parma ham, tuscany sausage and mushrooms. I couldn't eat it all, but took it home and had it the day after. For dessert, the cheesecake with ice-cream was out of this world. We can't wait to revisit.

6 Filey RoadTuvimos una comida fabulosa en el restaurante italiano (Toscana también) a unos 100 m de nuestro BnB el Cavendish que era a la vez práctico y muy sabroso. costo para 2 con vino era poco menos de £ 80 (vino £ 24 ) así que la comida a un precio razonable. El personal era atento y educado. agradable ambiente relajado. si parar cerca en el futuro, volveríamos a utilizar.

12 Osgodby LaneHaven’t ordered from here since I moved out of Scarborough a few years ago but it was always amazing when I did so thought whilst I’m here visiting I would order again and I was not disappointed! Just as good as I remember and I love that they cook it just how I like it. The parmo was great, fantastic cheese ratio, gorgeous chips and delivery was super quick which is even better! The delivery driver was so lovely as well. Such good value for money as well, 5 stars ✨
