The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

We decided to visit the Witching post last minute , contacted the bar and there was no issue at all , seated us at 7.30pm. Food - outstanding ! Bangers & mash ( local beautiful sausages ) Hubby loved the curry & our 14 year old son loved his parmo. Portion size very good and we all absolutely loved all 3 meals tonight and our son loved the fudge cake tonight. Service - absolutely fantastic. Owner is so funny & constantly ask you if you’re ok ! Bar staff - very good and so friendly.. Prices - good We have visited many pubs / restaurants locally and around the North Yorkshire Moors and this has to be the friendliest pub we have visited. After an amazing weekend celebrating our son’s wedding at Danby Castle The Witching Post Inn has definitely made our last night memorable. Thank you for the amazing food , friendly and cozy atmosphere and finally the outstanding service from Peter & his team . Cannot wait till we return.

Exploring the town, we want a place to sit down for a sandwich and drink. This place suited the bill and seating was available inside. Nice selection of lunchtime offerings and the service was quick and pleasant

Sorry, for me just average. My coffee was ok but my partner really didn't like his flat white May just have been an off day or long week for the staff but not very friendly.

If Carlsberg did cafe’s they would probably be called Lush! After completing the coast to coast yesterday we were in need of a good coffee and a decent breakfast and wow did we get that & much more…Ross the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful after a fab breakfast, free WiFi he even took us to the bus stop and then unbelievably was prepared to come pick us up again when the bus was cancelled….can’t thank him enough and have to applaud this v kind human…dont hesitate to call at this cafe it really is a gem in Whitby breakfast/brunch scene! Ask Ross to recite his Banjo butty joke it’s a beauty!

What a wonderful place this is. The owners are so friendly and the cats are just beautiful and chilled. My daughters favourite was Marie, her friend loved Tigger and I loved Hagrid but they were all super soft and lovable with unique characters. We were on holiday in Scarborough and a friend told me about this place. I'm so sorry it is closing down soon :-(

Stayed here in august 2024 with husband and friends ,for an overnight stay with breakfast and evening meal. It was fabulous ! service cleanliness food everything 10/10 we've booked to return, The bar area needs more seating and outside furniture doesn't reflect the standards inside, just my opinion ! but certainly didn't impact our stay. What a gem! The menu is simple, interesting and well considered. We had the daal stew which was delicious.;We were spoilt for choice with other offerings on the menu so will definitely go back. They make their own bread, scones and croissant too. Very friendly for humans and furry friends, I highly recommend.

Probably the best fish and chips we have ever eaten. Amazing little cafe with very friendly owners. Fortunately we had googled before we went to Scarborough so we were aware of the opening times.

Very welcoming, dog friendly, which when travelling solo can be a problem. Had a panini which was fresh with good quality filling, very tasty

Comida deliciosa, pequeño lugar encantador, personal muy atento, precios razonables. Tuvimos un pequeño descanso y un desayuno vegetariano, ambos con un precio de £ 9. 95 con una taza de té o café. ¡Iba tan lejos como para decir el mejor desayuno que he tenido! No hay foto porque desapareció demasiado rápido 😊 Oh y los pasteles se ven divinos 😳

4 min walk from the coach park best breakie I've had in ages. Reasonably priced top service. Gonna make it a must go to next time I'm in Scarborough

Happy to find the Steam Cafe open after reading previous reviews before we arrived in Grosmont. Wood oven baked pizza available Monday and Friday 5 pm to 7 pm served in the garden. Dessert options also available. Excellent pizza small range of interesting flavour combinations available. Open as cafe 10 - 4 ( Thursday to Monday I think ) We enjoyed our Monday evening so much we have booked to go back on Friday.

Haven’t been here for a while, as we don’t live here. It’s always a pleasure to visit this fantastic eatery. Always a lovely vibe, beautiful food and great service. The tastiest poke bowl ever.

The best fresh doughnuts ever tasted ! big light fluffy definitely return here. With Nice coffee too. I would recommend a visit.
