Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

Coffee in here is always spot on and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Always a friendly and pleasant service 🤌🏻 Best cuppa in town.

Really enjoyed this fantastic restaurant. The staff were warm and friendly with good knowledge of the food and wine. The wine recommendation was perfect with the Chateaubriand steak. They were lovely to our older dog and we enjoyed eating in this restaurant two evenings on our short visit to Robin Hood’s Bay.

Absolutamente increíble servicio al cliente, el propietario es un hombre encantador con una gran personalidad! La comida era absolutamente increíble y las porciones estaban fuera de este mundo! Mi pareja y yo tuvimos una fritura y un café con leche y déjame decir que ambos estaban perfectamente hechos y los precios son muy razonables! Realmente tratan a los extraños como familia allí y me encantó! Si vamos a Whitby de nuevo sin duda volveremos!

What a wonderful place this is. The owners are so friendly and the cats are just beautiful and chilled. My daughters favourite was Marie, her friend loved Tigger and I loved Hagrid but they were all super soft and lovable with unique characters. We were on holiday in Scarborough and a friend told me about this place. I'm so sorry it is closing down soon :-(

Just about to check out of The Grainary and wow what a lovely place to stay for a couple of relaxing nights. Accommodation is first class, staff are amazing, food is lovely and location is tranquil. Thank you so much.

El mejor café en el que he estado, pero no voy a mentir. Tenía tocino y huevo, y fue encantador. A mi hermana le encantó más de lo que me encantó.

Happy to find the Steam Cafe open after reading previous reviews before we arrived in Grosmont. Wood oven baked pizza available Monday and Friday 5 pm to 7 pm served in the garden. Dessert options also available. Excellent pizza small range of interesting flavour combinations available. Open as cafe 10 - 4 ( Thursday to Monday I think ) We enjoyed our Monday evening so much we have booked to go back on Friday.

Estábamos deambulando por ahí con ganas de comer algo y encontramos que no hay mucha comida vegana o vegetariana disponible aquí en Scarborough, pero por casualidad encontramos esto en la búsqueda de google después de buscar durante una hora un lugar para comer. Fue la primera vez que visitamos para nosotros, pero la comida era absolutamente increíble, todos los ingredientes eran frescos y el personal muy acogedor, el ambiente era tan agradable. Grandes opciones veganas y vegetarianas para elegir, ¡ojalá hubiéramos encontrado este lugar antes! También nos regalamos unos deliciosos Cupcakes caseros al horno Definitivamente volveremos aquí en el futuro

Un hallazgo absoluto. Esta pequeña iglesia hermosa proporciona un gran espacio para Whitby. De día, es un café, pero por las mañanas, desayunos excepcionales están disponibles, buen café y un servicio decente. Por la noche, celebra eventos variados. Hemos visto tocar, noches acústicas y bandas en vivo actuar en el impresionante escenario. El personal trabaja duro para que le sirvan con el mínimo de espera, principalmente ofreciendo cervezas embotelladas, aunque hay algo de corriente disponible, cócteles y vinos también están disponibles todo el día. Pero es el entorno único que lo hace especial. Vitrales y columnas de piedra hacen que este lugar se sienta íntimo y animado al mismo tiempo.

Super re-purposed school that offers activities for the community, ie toddler group, art club, and a super right and cheery café serving food and drinks. Welcomed with a smile and chat at the door whilst we looked at the excellent craft section where we bought hand-made items. Such great value compared to shops in busy neighbouring towns. A super array of scones and traybakes. Eat in or takeaway.

Marido y yo visitamos para el desayuno después de una estancia en Scarborough para ver un espectáculo en el Teatro Spa con amigos. Gran elección de comida y el personal amable nos atendió muy bien. La presentación de la comida y el café era encantador y mis hongos y tomates en tostadas era lugar en y del estándar que esperaría de una cafetería de moda en el centro de la ciudad. Sin duda recomendaría justo lo que Scarborough necesita!

My husband and I popped in today for the first time, and it won't be our last! My latte with oat milk was perfect, and my brownie was literally one of the best I've ever had! Fudgy, chocolatey without being too sweet. My husband had the fruit loaf which was delicious! Well done! Friendly staff too.

This lovely little cafe, with associated retro shop, is just off the high street. You go down a short flight of stairs into a world of tea, coffee, lunch and cakes. It's warm and cosy; there is a range of teas and coffees (I had a Yorkshire rhubarb flavoured tea), and a nice selection of cakes (mine was a gluten and dairy free chocolate peanut butter slice which was wonderful. They also do lunches. Highly recommended.
