Spent a lovely weekend here , room amazing and facilities great . Breakfast was huge and gorgeous . Staff friendly and even managed to find a ring and return it to me , I can’t praise this place enough . It’s an absolute gem .

What a great little place! Just had coffee but staff were exceptionally friendly and coffee was good. The food coming out looked amazing.

Exploring the town, we want a place to sit down for a sandwich and drink. This place suited the bill and seating was available inside. Nice selection of lunchtime offerings and the service was quick and pleasant

We found this hidden gem on our recent visit to Whitby. The breakfast was lovely and we had a good portion size. I also ordered the salted caramel and banana milkshake and it was one of the best I've had. The food was lovely and very well priced but the shinning star was Ross. The owner had such great sense of humour and was very chatty and welcoming. He made my partners day with his gaming chat. Honest, hardworking man that made this place different to others 😀 Thank you. What a wonderful place this is. The owners are so friendly and the cats are just beautiful and chilled. My daughters favourite was Marie, her friend loved Tigger and I loved Hagrid but they were all super soft and lovable with unique characters. We were on holiday in Scarborough and a friend told me about this place. I'm so sorry it is closing down soon :-(

Probably the best fish and chips we have ever eaten. Amazing little cafe with very friendly owners. Fortunately we had googled before we went to Scarborough so we were aware of the opening times.

Nice scones, cakes, flapjacks, cold drinks and tea would reccomend. Polite staff, nice area, quick service thank you.

Tuvimos un pequeño descanso y un desayuno vegetariano, ambos con un precio de £ 9. 95 con una taza de té o café. ¡Iba tan lejos como para decir el mejor desayuno que he tenido! Happy to find the Steam Cafe open after reading previous reviews before we arrived in Grosmont. Wood oven baked pizza available Monday and Friday 5 pm to 7 pm served in the garden. Dessert options also available. Excellent pizza small range of interesting flavour combinations available. Open as cafe 10 - 4 ( Thursday to Monday I think ) We enjoyed our Monday evening so much we have booked to go back on Friday.

After wandering down the sea front we came across this place squeezed in between other business with similar offerings. After checking out the alternative prices and menus we decided on this one and what a great decision that was. We had the Banofee Crepes and Nutella, really reasonable pricing and really hit the spot. Perfect little treat and not sickly either. Just right!
