The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

I've passed this restaurant many times and I've always wanted to eat here: I got the chance due to a family birthday meal. The meal was delicious from start to finish, beautifully presented, with great customer service. Definitely recommended!

Food good, just check whats in your bag by unpacking it BEFORE you leave, 2 times now different main to that what I ordered onmy to find out when I got home, despite the repeating of order thing at payment (which is embarrassing I know).

We had dinner here in Scarborough. It was difficult to find somewhere open on a Monday night. We didn't book, we were seated and we ordered drinks, which came very quickly. We shared barbecue spare ribs and we ordered salt and chilli king prawns with egg fried rice and fried chicken with pineapple and steamed 🍚 rice. My husband said his food could have been hotter. My chicken and pineapple was okay, but a little bland for me. However, the ribs were very nice and 😋 tasty.

No habíamos estado en años porque el tiempo lasr no era una buena experiencia con bandejas vacías, comida fría y un mal servicio. Las 3 veces de este año fueron excelentes. Las bandejas siempre estaban llenas y la comida caliente con una gran selección de varios platos, así como barra de ensaladas y una gran selección de postres. hicimos reservas ya que íbamos los sábados por la tarde y se pone ocupado. El servicio fue amable y rápido, es tan bueno tener un manadarín más cerca para ir de nuevo con buena comida, selección y servicio. Tan feliz que has mejorado y las 3 veces fueron excelentes. El valor es bueno también. Tenemos la oportunidad de probar tantos platos diferentes y disfrutar de un almuerzo junto con amigos y familiares. Gracias John.

I loveeeee this Chinese, I’m a regular , auntie is the best bless her she’s so lovely also compared to any other Chinese in town the food is always delicious and comes very hot ,I used to always pick up my food but now we only get it delivered as I live near town now but the food always still comes as if it’s been cooked right in front of me , anyways if your afraid to go for a Chinese don’t be . This one will have you genuinely addicted !!

Ordered £80+ worth of food for take away and it was top notch! 👌 Ready in no time. Everyone of us, (8 of us) loved every dish. The woman taking our order was so efficient. So good at her job. We aren't from the area so can't return regularly. Highly recommended.

This is the takeaway we most use and not just because it's the nearest to us! Run by a lovely Chinese couple who do nearly everything themselves, there's a decent menu and reasonable prices. You may have to wait a little while for your food as everything is cooked to order and it's usually busy but it's spotlessly clean and there's always someone to chat to.

Ordered food through their website got an order confirmation email, but never received my order. Said online it would be 45 mins for delivery but after waiting 2 hours I tried calling them to ask about my order. To which no one picked up the phone.

Staff very helpful explained the menu about anything I asked if I wasn't sure.

Ordered a king prawn curry, rice and a pancake roll from here tonight. Lad serving was really nice and friendly. Waited about half an hour for it which we was warned. When we got home we actually had a cold, thin,oily Chinese roast pork curry, that tasted like one of those powered Currys you buy from the supermarket. The pancake roll was burnt at one end. We have been using this place for absolute years and this is the worse one we have ever had. We will go somewhere else next time.

Happened across this place tonight and decided to try it. I was not disappointed and am now surprised to read so many reviews where others experiences were nothing like my own. The service was generally good, albeit a little slow due to the sheer number of phone orders and takeaway walk-ins, that side was non-stop for the duration of my visit. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant area but staff were friendly enough and seemed genuinely interested in how I was enjoying the food. I had my usual main course, the beef in black bean sauce, which I have say was one of the best versions of this dish I have had anywhere in Yorkshire and beyond, it was really rich and super tasty. I'd suggest you try it yourself - if this is the standard then you're in for a treat!

If Carlsberg did Chinese food, it's probably the best Chinese takeaway in the world.
