Cheung's Kitchen. Chinese Takaway in Scarborough

Ordered food through their website got an order confirmation email, but never received my order. Said online it would be 45 mins for delivery but after waiting 2 hours I tried calling them to ask about my order. To which no one picked up the phone.

This used to be Tony’s Noodles but now it’sa Chinese. Waited over an hour which I suppose it wouldn’t have mattered if it was fresh and hot. It was bland at best (the sauces) not a fresh vegetable in site and it was soo the same colour which was a browny gloop. The rice and noodles were dry and hard. I was very disappointed after spending fifty pounds and we were all very hungry. Save your money and your taste buds.

One of the Go To noodle and fried rice bar in Scarborough. Many food you dine here are home made style and prices are reasonable too. It’s a great place to enjoy some good quality noodles and fried rice. Friendly staff and good service.

Fantastic, what a lovely find! I’ve driven past loads of times and fancied trying, I wish I’d been sooner. Staff are very polite and welcoming. We were going to take it away, didn’t realise you could eat in. The food was delicious and very tasty, the flavours were amazing! Very good value for money and very good portion. Best Chinese I have ever had. Ordered special curry, noodle box, chicken balls, salt and pepper chips, satay chicken sticks. Everything was beautiful, salt and pepper chips especially.

Tasty and good quality food. I can feel an oraintal ingredients, good smell. Location is in the town centre. This is my first time to try. I will go back to by my takeaway again.

Called in one lunch time recently and had a lunchtime special each, beef curry and chicken Cantonese style, both with rice. We also ordered starters. Salt and pepper spare ribs and prawn toast. All this for under £20. We chose to take the food home. On opening it was piping hot. The prawn toast had loads of topping and the meat just feel off the rib bones. The main courses were plentiful and beautifully cooked. Best Chinese I have had in Scarborough for a long time. Will definitely return.

This chinese takeaway is the worst thing I've ever eaten in my entire life...wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy! If you are holidaying in Scalby (near Scarborough) don't go there you are better off starving! No wonder there were no queues! My local Chinese down south, is blooming amazing with so much choice & huge queues! Just says it all!

Yoyoyo trippers Now madam cheungs is one finest women about , she works hard long days aswel cooking up some of the finest textures around the town I wouldn’t dig my fork into no other place except cheungs. When I finished digging my fork down town I head up to newlands and dig my fork also. I go for the £4 meal deal in town chicken curry and rice she brings it out to the car for me cause she knows I’m a bad boy n not bothered about parking wardens Big shout out to madam cheungs inside da house Everything perfect splendid It’s a big five star for me big up ya self Respect Coming from the international rude boy in town Top marks Boom Shaka laka

If you want restaurant level, please don't go. They provide fast foods only and self service. Many students go there for cheap, fast, and family taste. When they're missing home, they go to have plate simple family food. Seldom to see salty fish in UK, but they cook salty fish with eggplant. Recommend such dish, it is popular in South China and HK. Absolutely family food. Another be recommended is beef noodles, not prepare everyday. It cook long time, better order in advance, or check against owner.

Couple of tables in this takeaway front of shop area allows customers to sit and eat a cheap lunch! If you want smart, posh, waiter service do not go here! If you want good tasty grub at a cheap price then this place is a must! £3.50 for choice of 3 meals, I had chicken curry and rice, hubby had sweet and sour chicken and rice, 60p each for a side portion, prawn toast and spring rolls. Have to go to counter to collect meals, might even have eaten with plastic cutlery, can't remember! Meal for 2 cost under a tenner! Special reduced menu only available for a couple of hours over lunch period!

Was recommended this place and we visit every time we're in Scarborough, without fail. Lovely and popular little eat in/takeout restaurant and it's very well priced too. Absolutely delicious.
