The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Very nice !! great food and great service been here on Saturday and had a great time with friends the service was very nice friendly and welcoming. The food was great didn’t have to wait a long time and also got some bread and sauce as you wait for your food amazing

Had to check it out after hearing good reports. Had a fantastic meal here. Very plentiful, fresh grilled meat. The Pide was amazing and a first for us. Would recommend.

Excellent food and service. I had the sea bass and it was cooked to perfection! Beautifully presented too! The ambience is warm, welcoming and very Mediterranean.

Special garlic bread is fantastic, giving florios a run for its money ;)

My husband and his mum and myself went to Spencers for lunch yesterday and came away disappointed. The husband has an allergy to mayo and it seemed like a real struggle to order something without but eventually agreed on a ham sandwich. The other orders were a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and a chilli chicken panini. After what seemed like ages I asked about our food and was told they had ran out of chicken so they were cooking it fresh. If would have really helped if they had told us this and we could have either changed our order or understood why we were waiting so long. When the food arrived, the presentation was good but the ham sandwich was very dry and the cheese and have toasted sandwich was a panini. The chilli chicken was nice. We didn't say anything at this point because we felt it would fall on deaf ears. I always try and use small independent businesses when I'm out and about but in this case it wasn't the best choice. This cafe could be a lovely with a few tweaks and better staff knowledge of the menu and communication. This was the mother in laws second visit and she lives in Scarborough and won't be returning any time soon. Please take this review as constructive feedback.

Appauling service, made to move table after being seated and when we said we were happy where we were the doorman was sent over to MAKE SURE we moved. Apparently the person who'd seated us had made a mistake. They did exactly the same to the next table to us. As we were leaving we heard the doormen saying that's how you clear a room. Do not go to macey browns, not a nice place at all.

Very tasty takeaway. Chips were ( flavoured ?+),but didn't really taste of much ... Would have preferred choice between plain chips or choose flavoured chips The rest of the food was really tasty . Meat was cooked spot on
