Very nice !! great food and great service been here on Saturday and had a great time with friends the service was very nice friendly and welcoming. The food was great didn’t have to wait a long time and also got some bread and sauce as you wait for your food amazing

First time of visiting. Me and my 14 year old son paid a visit for a late lunch. Service was really good with lovely friendly staff. Food was just what I was expexting. We shared some hummus and flatbread to sart with. My son had the chicken wings and I choose the lamb stuffed aubergine for our mains. Both meals came in good time and were nice and hot. Would happily return again

This was my second time visiting and it will not be my last! The food is excellent we all ordered different things, all the food excellent and we all agreed we would happily of eaten any of the dishes. The staff are great - very friendly & efficient

Warm welcome, hot food, excellent service. Can couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We love to have a selection of starters rather than the traditional 3 courses and that wasn't a problem. We were even given a table with the space for our collection of delicious foods. Surprisingly to us, one of our favourite dishes was the traditional Turkish salad - who'd have thought you could infuse a salad with so much flavour.

Yet another beautiful meal and excellent service at Askim’s last night. Delicious, top quality food and drinks, and lovely, welcoming staff. This restaurant is consistently good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Just got back from our anniversary meal having never been to Askims before, but hearing great reviews. WOW the food was delicious, the service was top tier, the cocktails was to die for and the decor was luxurious. Will definitely be back again!

From the moment I walked in, I knew I'd made the right decision choosing Askims. The staff were friendly, helpful, and impeccably dressed. The smell of the grill, and look of food coming out was amazing. Lovely pitta bread and dips was served first, and the food I chose was incredible; Turkish Sausage for starters, and Askim's Special (mixed grill) for main. At first I was a little disappointed with the size of the main, but some of the meat was hidden, and the kebab was thick and chunky. I seriously do not know how these guys get so much flavour in the food; the herbs and spices combined with the flavour of the charcoal grill was perfect. I wasn't going to have dessert until I was suggest to try Baklava, and have to say it's probably the best one I've ever had (including several trips to Greek islands!) All in all, an amazing night of perfect food and service. Askim's is highly recommended.

During a short stay in Scarborough with my dear friend we went to eat at ASKIM’S restaurant on Huntriss Row. Turkish cuisine served by the two young brothers, Sal & Hummet, and their amazing staff. We felt like royalty from the moment we were greeted at the door to the time we left through the same door. The staff greeted and treat everybody who entered the restaurant with the same courtesy. We were shown and seated at the table of our choice. We were able to choose from the menu and given assistance with our choices. A shared feta with bread & dips, for starters. For mains moussaka with cuscus and Askim’s special (lamb & chicken shish, lamb chop & Adana kebab) with cuscus, followed by Tiramisu and Baklavas both with ice cream. The food was out of this world & would recommend anything on the menu, just go and give it a try, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Love from Judy and Joyce.

Very easy to book this via website after recommendation via Instagram food vlog. On arriving very welcoming staff, seated and served drinks. Food was amazing and a great variety and selection. Really flavoursome. Would definitely eat here again.

Yet another visit to our favourite restaurant in Scarborough. Travelled all the way from Hull just to eat here. Food was excellent and the staff amazing as usual. Anyone travelling to Scarborough must visit the little gem.

Stayed at the Premier Inn a couple of doors away, and went here for ease. The food and service was absolutely superb,. Definitely visit again next time I’m in Scarborough.

I have been to Askim’s multiple times now with friends and family and it has always been a memorable experience. The food is exceptional and the service is effortlessly friendly and attentive. For top quality food and service, Askims is the place to go! For starter, I highly recommend the Hummus Kavurma and the garlic mushrooms and for main, the Lamb Sarma Beyti. Just a top quality place in Scarborough!

I had the most incredible dining experience at Adkins in Scarborough. From the moment we were seated, the service was exceptional. The complimentary starters were simply outstanding, especially the garlic sauce which was absolutely divine—I couldn't get enough of it! The main course was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you find yourself in Scarborough, a visit to Adkins is an absolute must for unparalleled food and excellent service!"

Delicious food - we had starters and mains. The staff were lovely - very friendly. We had a 7 year old with us and the children’s menu was good for her (including the vat of ketchup that came with her meal!). Pleasant atmosphere and would definitely recommend.

The food was fairly good but not authentic Turkish. The Ayran was sweet and watery, and the drink prices are on the high side too! The waiter who claimed to be Turkish had to admit he wasn’t when we started speaking it.

Surprised to find this restaurant while being incredibly miserable from the rain! My friends and I were treated to amazing starters and mains, especially the lamb chops, they are so good that brought tears to my eyes;-D And there's a Mr. sweetheart who's making this lunch extra fun for us LOL

Visited for the first time this week and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff, especially Sal who was our waiter for the evening! The food is fantastic! I had yoghurt chicken shish - the chicken just melted in your mouth, full of flavour, my husband had the mixed shish of chicken and lamb and said it was the most succulent lamb he had ever tasted! We were given complimentary hummus and bread and traditional turkish rice pudding! Restaurant is spotlessly clean and has a nice ambience. Being a Wednesday night it was fairly quiet at first, but people soon started coming in - obviously well known and very popular. Best choice we made, would definitely return and highly recommend!!

Located in Scarborough town centre. Visited for first time recently as it had been recommended by friends. I wasn't disppointed. Great food - good sized portions and not too expensive. Complimentary bread and dips were a great touch. The staff were very friendly and attentive without going over the top. Great Turkish food. I will definitely be going again.

Popped in for late lunch after shopping. The restaurant was very quiet, so we were a little apprehensive, we had read great reviews so we went for it. Needless to say we weren’t disappointed. Sal was lovely, friendly and welcoming. We were given the lunch menu, all of which sounded delicious. We ordered the falafel and the hummus to start. Both were lovely and came with complimentary bread, olives and dips (yogurt and a delicious spicy dip. For mains we both went for the chicken shish - so tender and tasty with double marination in spices (Sal said it makes all the difference) and cooked on charcoal. It comes with a salad and rice, both delicious. The whole dish was so tasty. Plus they offer extra dips too. For desert we went for the baklava and the rice pudding, both of which were delicious. The rice pudding is very sweet but so tasty. All in all it was delicious, we will defo be back and are already recommending to friends and family! Sal was lovely and explained the ethos of the restaurant and the part they play with the other shops and bars in Huntriss Row. Recommending and supporting others a restaurant with a conscience and great food. I can well recommend Askims. See you soon!

A fantastic meal & great experience on our first visit to Askim’s. Front of house is Umut, who is a credit to the restaurant and can’t do enough to help. We had starters and mains but were too full for desert. The food is very tasty and fresh and was brought out by the chefs, which is a nice touch. Breads, dips and olives are complimentary and were very good. We all enjoyed all the food and will visit again when back in Scarborough. An excellent find!!
