Nice pizzas. A cross between amrican style and Italian

We ordered pizza and pasta and they were absolutely delicious. The Lebanese tea aroma is brilliant.

One of my top 5 Italian restaurant. The staff is just the best and the food amazing.

Takeaway. Was good all around. Our group had mixed feelings on the pizza. Overall great but on the greasy side. The chicken was slightly overcooked.

In a cloudy night, by the sea this pizza made a good memory for us traveling to Scarborough.

Nice food just a shame lamb shish is no longer on the menu

Super tasty! Ordered the mezze to share. Beautiful, freshly cooked tasty meal. The kofte was perfectly spiced, the chicken delicious and the falafel some of the best I've ever had The side salad was full of lovely fresh leaves and pickles. We stayed for a few days and in the villa it had their takeaway menu, sooooo glad it did! The Pomodoro was so good it reminded me of the dishes I loved in Italy, I highly recommend this place and that dish! Great garlic stone baked bread to go with it as well!

Repeat order as it was so good. Very quick time given to pick up after ordering by phone. Quality and variety of Mezze platters was excellent and lots of flavour, as was the Lamb Kofta. If you are in Scarborough, looking for food to order, I would highly recommend you choose Castello. It’s definitely not your usual churned out ‘ Takeaway food ’ and the staff are super friendly too !

Ordered on Friday evening; amazing food and brilliant service

Castello did it again! We pre ordered our food because we know how popular they are, especially at a weekend. The service from start to finish was nothing short of perfect, despite how busy they were. The food itself is amazing, on this particular visit we ordered a Mezze box for 2, as ever it was tasty, fresh and excellent value for money. The one thing that always stands out with Castello is the fresh salad, usually at a takeaway you might get a bit of warm cabbage, onion & a slice of cucumber and tomato - not at castello, there’s plenty of variety and it’s always presented in an appealing way and topped with a lovely dressing. As small as this may seem it really does make a difference when you’re eating a box full of meat and carbs! Absolutely nothing stingy with the amount of meat packed into the box- they don’t just bulk it out with chips and bread, although you get a good helping of these too. Everything was cooked to perfection and a nice little of touch of placing a piece of flatbread under the meats to soak up the juices and stop it going all over the box! In our house it’s always important to “balance the pallet” after a big savoury meal. Castello catered for this with a lovely slice of Malteser cheesecake. Perfect! Honestly, everything about this place is perfect and is why we always return! We have tried other things on the menu too, and they all live up to expectations and the high standards that have previously been set. Well done guys & girls, keep doing what you do!

Ordered from here and was told just over an hour wait, 2 hours later still nothing so rang to be told it was just cooking, explained I’d been lied to about waiting times but lady didn’t care. Another half an hour passed (so I assume they quickly got my food in the oven after I called, another lie) my food arrived 2 hours 40 minutes after ordering. Disgusting, I would rather of been told the truth on ordering and I wouldn’t of gone ahead with my order but they lied and I was left with a hungry child at 9pm at night. Always treat me and my little boy on a Saturday night, ordered at 6:30 didn’t expect to still be waiting at 9:05pm. Stop lying to your customers and be honest on waiting times, will not be returning. By time it arrived both me and my child were past even eating it. Friends and family have had the same issue with being told an hour and left for 2 hours or more. Honestly just appalling service.

By far the best takeaway in Scarborough. The Stilton garlic bread is second to non. We love the mozzarella salad, it’s so tasty. The meat is always such a high quality and arrives piping hot. The cake of the day is always super tasty and a great size. It’s our go to takeaway. Fresh and never greasy. It almost feels healthy! Super friendly staff too.

Tried here for a delivery for first time last night. Can't fault anything, from the lovely ladies who took the order & delivered it to the wonderful food. Between us we tried Pizza,garlic bread, kebabs & mozzarella salad,all were delicious. Best mozzarella salad I've ever had. Would definitely recommend.

This is most definitely THE place to go for pizza, garlic bread, salads and much more, bit of a regular now but all the food is absolutely delicious. Only just recently found this place it's our favourite takeaway now. Everything is so fresh the kebabs and mezze are amazing, even the salad Is tasty. We also tried the chicken pasta last night it was gorgeous everything is homemade. I would definitely recommend Castellos to anyone wanting something abit different to other takeaways.

The proprietor did us a favour and let us eat in at one of the few tables. My wife and I both had Lebenese mezze, one veggie one not. There was so much food I couldn't manage it all,. Everything was delicious even the salad with pickles tasted lovely. The propretor was there tell us about items we weren't sure of even though he was rushed off his feet with delivery orders - this was a Monday night too. I wish it were nearer to home so we could go again.

Absolutely excellent service and food , can’t give the cafe/ takeaway enough praise . The couple who run / own the cafe so welcoming and 10/10 for cleaning the place is spotless it gleams . Good value , fantastic food , lovely staff what more could anyone ask for .

Have ordered from here a few times and never been disappointed. Usually order the Meze for 2 which is delicious and would easily serve 3 people! Service is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you fancy trying something a little different.

This place cannot be beaten! The food is outstanding; delicious, authentic and it's all obviously freshly made. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly and I have never been disappointed. My absolute favourite place to get a takeaway in Scarborough. Something for everyone in the family. We got a takeaway from Castello Café Bar last night, and I can't speak highly enough of the food and service received. Really friendly staff, it was 25 minutes from phone to door step, the best garlic bread tomato I've had in town, bolognese pizza and creamed mushroom burger were absolutely beautiful. Very reasonably priced and worth every penny and more. I will 100% be ordering from there again and I'm looking forward to it already.

What a gem of a place. The times I have walked past and never thought to call in. The owner/chef was very nice and accommodating. He told us about the food we were eating and obviously was proud of his fayre. I had a falafel and humous wrap and my husband had a panini. It was a quick visit as we had an appointment, but will definitely go back soon to sample his wares at a more leisurely pace.
