Lezzet Mediterranean Bistro in Scarborough

Had one of the best meals I've ever had here, delicious. Excellent service by lovely staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited on our last night of a week in Scarborough, and we really wish we had discovered this place sooner so we could go back! The food was beautiful, the staff were lovely and we left feeling absolutely stuffed! We had a mezze starter with beautiful array of dips and other bits. We had a range of mains including the seafood casserole, mixed grill and lamb special and all of the food was super tasty. We will definitely be making a trip back!

A real little gem. It's absolutely amazing tasty food in a pretty setting. Would definitely come back when I'm next in the area.

Superb lunch, highly recommended

Enjoyable lunch of shredded doner wrap with lovely, hot chilli dip along with milder dips too. Chips were the star of the show. Helpful, friendly staff.

Another stunning meal from our favourite restaurant in Scarbrough. Spoilt for choice we opted for haloumi and pastrami and sausage for starters both came with a delicious salad. We both had lamb for the main course then lamb loin was special in every sense of the word. Plenty of choice of drink including excellent array of teas and coffees. Brilliant service. We booked and glad we did as it was still quite busy. Definately recommended.

Booked a table at this quaint little restaurant recently while visiting Scarborough. Thursday evening and wasn't busy but good atmosphere. Food was beautiful and service excellent. Definitely a memorable experience, highly recommended.

I was not expecting anything amazing but I highly recommend this place the staff were so welcoming and polite and the food was 10 out of 10 nice décor as well 👍

Food was ok a bit expensive for what it was. My wife had the halloumi burger minus the bun. We ended up sitting in the middle of the isle which was off putting. As people kept walking past us. I think it was a case of getting as many tables into the restaurant as possible. God forbid if there had been a fire, it would be horrendous I am sure this breaks health and safety.

Fabulous meal , all very fresh and hot. There were 9 of us and all enjoyed very much . Will definitely come back here again

This place is always booked up, we could only get a table at 6pm on a Saturday but everything was lovely. It's only small so book in advance. The girls who served us drinks, and food were really lovely and very friendly. Food was tasty and delicious. I only wish I ordered what my partner had because my curry was a a little too rich and creamy for my taste but still good! 😋

This place always looks busy at any time of year and as soon as you step inside the door you realise why. We received a very warm welcome and instantly enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was perfect, enticing us to have dessert, which we rarely do, and the pace was just about right throughout. We felt thoroughly looked after throughout, especially by Lawrence, and the price was very reasonable. We shall return!

Our first time in Scarborough and so pleased we went into the Bay Coffee Shop and was told about Lezets we have had a wonderful meal, really enjoyed it. Everything was brilliant. Thank you.

Let me start by firstly saying WOW! We were a party of 9 who had pre booked a table and as soon as we walked through the door staff couldn't be any more helpful and attentive. Service was spot on, emma kept us topped up with drinks. Food was amazing, cooked to perfection and the taste and flavours were insane. Will defo be returning.

Excellent food and service. You would have to go a long way to beat this place for quality and flavour of their food. As a group, we had three different mains and each was very good…we all left very happy!

What a gem. In a maze of branded eateries is this independent, family-run Turkish restaurant. Good specials board. Friendly service. Awesome food. Came here for a birthday meal. Really pleased with our choice.

Fitted us in, despite being really busy. Food absolutely beautiful. I had kofte and it melted in the mouth. My partner had Beyti Sarma and didnt leave a mouthful. A little taste of turkey in Scarborough.

Good price and an excellent lunch menu

Scarborough does it again! It's such a treat to have so much choice of quality cafés and restaurants. Lezzet is right up there with the best, certainly in terms of its coffee quality alone, my yardstick comparator. I'm not the greatest lover of sweet stuff, but I heartily recommend their homemade Baklava: it comes with chocolate sauce and fresh mint on a good a dollop of ice-cream. Even a coffee and fruit tea comes with homemade sweet nibbles. The waiter and staff were generous with both time and advice. Very reasonably priced.

We both had creamy garlic mushrooms, served with warm bread rolls, they were delicious. For our main courses we both had chicken burgers. The chicken fillets were marinated and grilled, served in brioche buns with tzatiki, chips and side salad. The staff were friendly and were flexible with the menu options. We visited in the school holidays as a party of 7; 4 adults and 3 children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The staff were attentive and lovely. One of my children had accidentally left behind their little purse of 2ps and the restaurant phoned me so we could return to retrieve it. Everything was excellent. We would definitely recommend it and return ourselves on the next trip to Scarborough.

I was so excited when I saw menemen on the menu. I tried the menemen here which is a dish I always eat all over Turkey. This was the worst one I’ve ever had and wasn’t traditional at all, it was overpowered with mint which is not an ingredient in menemen. It wasn’t served with good ekmek (bread) or a simit which again is the norm in Turkey, it was some horrible wrap which wasn’t authentic in the slightest. I also asked for çay (Turkish tea) and was served something green? Would not recommend for breakfast/brunch.
