Absolutely delicious food, great coffee and lovely service! Really enjoyed our lunch here! (My boyfriend who’s a meat eater also loved his food here! )

I enjoyed a fine breakfast here, pancakes with yogurt , granola and fruit compote along with a very good americano coffee. Great service too. I will definitely be going back.

Had a really lovely brunch and coffee here last week. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. My coffee was brought to me quickly and my food was freshly made. They have books that you can read through as well which I particularly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and plan to visit again soon.

We had a lovely cooked breakfast and took some delicious tray bakes away, friendly service and nice interior. This cafe is a great asset to Scarborough.

As a vegan family visiting the Scarborough for the day, Love Brew Cafe was a God send! Eating out can be stressful with strict dietary requirements so this gem of a find was amazing. To top it off the food we chose was lovely. As others have said, the breakfast is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Really good food and drink: the beetroot chai is a must. Good portions. Relaxing atmosphere. Attentive and efficient service. Interesting book shelf of cook books. I had a vegan kebab. The staff are great and very helpful. The seating is comfy and there are books & magazines you can flick through during your visit. They also have gift items for sale. There were food options available for my different dietary requirements. The food was beyond yummy & having options & choices when you are gluten free & vegan does not happen ofte, so it took quite a while to decide. I highly recommend this place as a wonderful place to eat or just stop in for a drink.

Positive stuff: Food was nice enough. Clean facilities. Good location. Not so great: Slow service, and staff not very attentive. Felt quite cliquey, in contrast to our visit here last year. I observed other customers either being welcomed like friends, or more or less ignored. Our waitress appeared to be aloof and uninterested - given that we spent £65+ on three average veggie/vegan breakfasts, drinks and some cakes to take away, this was very disappointing. The menu (& weekly specials board) seems unchanged from 2022, and was uninspiring. Questionably pricey, given the local competition. Overall, the place might be dog-friendly but certainly doesn't seem suited to families. Such a shame, as we visited here whilst on holiday last year and had a much better experience.

A delightful cafe, with excellent vegan choices. The staff are now like friends. Always happy to help and very accommodating. A real hidden gem is Scarborough. Highly recommend

I love love love this cafe. The whole idea of it is amazing. I had some apple juice and the rocky road. As a vegan, nice food is sometimes hard to come by, but it honestly tasted so good. The texture was just perfect, and you couldn’t even tell it was vegan. I will be back for sure !!!

Wonderful food and atmosphere. It was full when we went in but kind people offered to share their table with us. I had a Cobb salad with tempeh and my husband said his burger was great. Nice selection of drinks and always good to have a varied choice of food as a vegan. The staff were friendly and there's cute prints and gifts for sale too. Definitely recommended!

An absolute gem of a place. The cakes are sublime! I only wish it was open more so I could eat more of them, but I do love that they're willing to serve me vegan doner kebab at 10am! Wonderful host and charming venue. A must try for all veggie, vegan and curious or anyone who wants an unrivaled sweet treat.

Never had a bad meal here, gorgeous every time. Great for a coffe n cake too, their coffee is lovely and their vegan cake bakes are beaut. Just wish it was bigger as sometimes have to wait for a table, but that's because it's so nice, well worth the wait!

Stopped in twice during a week’s holiday in Scarborough. Delicious gluten free chocolate flapjack & gf chocolate coconut slices! Well worth the calories as they are home made, delicious and generous portions. Definitely a go-to in Scarborough.

Really enjoyed the ginger cake with yorkshire tea. Generous portions. Lovely decor. Would just like a bit more comfort on the seating to feel fully relaxed there.

Deserving of the name, this place is full of love; it shows clearly in the superb quality of the food and the service. They also have a 'pay it forward' scheme where you can pay for a hot drink for someone in need. Came away so full of food and love!

This is the best kind of place you can find, you can feel they really care about everything from the second you enter the door. The menu is super clear, with a great varied selection and also a specials board. The food itself is on another level, I had the vegan breakfast, with homemade beans and vegan halloumi, a few times during my stay in Scarborough. Another day I tried the spinach pancakes with tomatoes, vegan cheese and balsamic. Yes, I went every day. If you want to know about the food or have any requirements, they’re super knowledgable and passionate about all of it. The drink selection on offer is great too, from a great coffee blend, selection of fruit and herbal teas, to a fantastic vegan chai, turmeric or beetroot latte and more. I tried my lattes with pea milk, give it a go if they have it. Then there’s the cakes and bakes which are all lovingly homemade and super tasty, the peanut butter slice was my favourite. All of the staff are really welcoming and knowledgable about the area, food and drinks on offer and make the experience so nice. They even play nice relaxing folk music, what more could someone ask for in a cafe?

I stopped in here whilst on the way to the beach for coffee and cake, the cakes were in a very trendy glass cabinet and had a list of dietary information. I went for a blondie and what a treat it was, well done love brew for the experience.

We visited this cafe as we'd heard they are now meat free. They have a vegetarian and vegan menu, both of which have an excellent choice. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. They also have vegan cakes which I will try another time. You will love this place whether you're veggie or not!

We found this cafe by chance and were really rewarded. The menu is interesting and we weren't disappointed when the meals arrived. Coffee was great, and the cakes looked good though we didn;t get to try them, so need to go back!! It was a cosy and comfortable place to be and had a range of vegetarian and vegan cook books for you to look through. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. When they found we were from near Matlock in Derbyshire they told us that their inspiration had been Greenway Cafe there which they said was their inspiration for starting Love Brew. We have called in for brunch on a few occasions after a brisk walk with the dog on the beach. The coffee is good and the food is cooked to order and is tasty and just a little bit different. They have a vegetarian and a vegan menu with a good range of dishes and light bites. We always take out some cheese scones which are delicious eaten warm. Very dog friendly place too with water available.

Having tried nearly all of the food on the Vegan menu I don't know why more people aren't Vegan. Great food, fantastic flavours, lovely staff.

A very welcoming small cafe with an abundance of veggie and vegan food! I ordered the vegan halloumi kebabs and a oat milk chocolate, both of which were lovely. I will definitely be returning! It is great to see allergen free/veggie and vegan options becoming more wide-spread. Well done LoveBrew

Emma has recently taken over this cafe and put her own stamp on the place. All cakes scones are home baked and so is the menu, apart from the obvious. She has recently gone vegetarian/vegan which reflects Emma’s outlook on life and the planet. She is not just trying to sell food and drinks, she is trying to be part of the community in the area and I believe has succeeded in this and will go from strength to strength. A friend is made of everyone who comes in and that is reflected in the cosy atmosphere that has been created. The ‘not bad’ in the title is a personal joke, there is really nothing bad to say about this little gem of a place and staff.

Lovely little dog friendly cafe , welcoming staff and a good choice of cakes with dairy free and gluten free options. Pretty interior decoration and a cosy atmosphere especially on a wet autumn day. Clean loo and bubblegum hand wash! Coffee and tea spot on.

I called in for a coffee and cake. The cafe is very clean with scrubbed wooden tables and lovely pictures on the walls. Child friendly too. There was a selection of delicious looking cakes, marked as vegan, dairy free, gluten free, so everyone could find something suitable. You can pay for an extra coffee to be given free to someone who cannot pay, an excellent idea.

This cafe has recently changed to vegetarian/vegan. Food was really excellent even for one of us who does eat meat. And good value. Coffee was good according to people at nearby table. And staff were helpful and friendly. Dog friendly. Wish we'd found it sooner.

Found this little gem through TripAdvisor when looking for somewhere gluten free and dog friendly. What a find! A little set back from the main street but well worth finding. Really tasty menu options, good wholesome food made from quality ingredients - there were genuine gluten free options rather than feeling that the gluten elements had just been removed. Three toasties, special hot chocolate, large pot of tea and a latte for £23. Genuine, friendly, service. What more could you want to warm your cockles on a wintry day!

We called in to love brew on a mini break to Scarborough after seeing great reviews on tripadvisor. We called in around 2pm hoping for an afternoon tea but unfortunately had just missed out as they had just stopped serving meals ☹️ Having said that it was out of season. The staff said they could do a cake platter and drinks as an alternative. The choice was fantastic, scones with jam and cream that crumbled and melted in the mouth. Victoria sponge that was lovely and moist. And a choice of 4 different sliced cake/browny/tiffin/blonde/plus many more. All of which were just so good a real treat, far too much to eat there and then so they boxed the rest up to take home. Lovely fresh coffee and a rich deep hot chocolate to accompany. It was fantastic. A must if your in Scarborough

Love this cafe! Always accommodate me & my tricky tum! The staff are always friendly & helpful. I've miss so many things since having a gluten intolerance but LoveBrew have definitely filled the pancake shaped hole in my life! So many more GF items on the menu to be fair but the pancakes are always my go to fix!

I was in Scarborough with my partner Radney when the heavens opened, Radney (bless him) is rather large and has an ample man busom. His shirt was soaked through and it became rather revealing so we needed to get off the street post haste!

What a fabulous little place. I attended their Tarot and Tapas Night with friends and wow! What a fantastic night! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fun and friendly and the whole night was so well organised! I was really impressed with the professional and helpful staff I will definitely be looking out for more of these events.

I can’t recommend this cafe enough. Am appalled at reading some other people’s reviews saying it’s grotty and dirty, they obviously have the wrong cafe or maybe there used to eating at the Ritz!! In no way is it grotty or dirty!! The afternoon tea is delicious, the breakfasts are yummy with messy eggs been my fave and the cakes.... . I bought a full caramel cake for my husbands 50th birthday in August and it was absolutely delicious, moist and full of flavour !! Ignore the few negative reviews, decide for yourself and pay Love Brew a visit, you won’t be disappointed

Just had a fabulous breakfast here. Food gorgeous, staff friendly and chatty and got my daughter some scrumptious looking homemade gluten free caramel sponge cake! Can't recommend highly enough! Fab!

Homemade scones, cakes and more. Vegan and Gluten Free. Great for lunch and afternoon tea. Large portions, food is super fresh! I attended a wonderful event here called Tapas & Tarot. The owners of the pagan gift shop next door came during tapas service and gave everyone mini tarot readings and food was superb ~ brilliant!

We stumbled on this little off the main sea front cafe. We'll I have never been so happy to have found it. Myself and my fiance wandered in to have tea hot chocolate and cake. The lemom and raspberry cake and the double decker brownie were amazing. Rather sickly so not for those who don't have a sweet tooth but you get the picture.

Having just arrived in Scarborough and looking for a cup of coffee we stumbled on this cute-looking little cafe and weren't disappointed. It was bathed in sun and the coffee and fruit scones were excellent!

Visited this highly recommended cafe with a friend from the area, but it didn’t really work out. Very nice staff took our order - then there was a 40 minute wait for food. My wife’s and friends lunch was apparently delicious, my Falafel and Hummus toastie should probably never have left the kitchen - terribly dry and lacking flavour, served with an underdressed salad and a small portion of perfectly acceptable coleslaw which nonetheless wasn’t sufficient to make up for the dry sandwich. I would have raised this with the staff, but the food took so long to arrive I had to dash out to move the car before I got a ticket!

We found this little gem as a family visiting Scarborough for the day. The food was SO nice and the portions were really big! You could tell it was all cooked fresh and a lot of thought had gone into it. The café was clean and quaint. The cakes were really nice too! Proper homemade.
