Crocodïle in Scarborough

Wow! Was not disappointed! Most amazing pizza. We had the surf and turf and chorizo and corn. If you’re in doubt of coming here then don’t be! 10/10

Just moved to area, chanced our arm at the small but perfectly formed Crocodile run by artist Nick and chef Brad. Tapas is the main focus, and by using the tiny space to its fullest we had a beautifully prepared plate of various tapas dishes. High in flavour, pleasing on the eye, and with an affordable house red and great service to boot. The staff make you feel like friends from the second you walk in, and we left feeling like we really had just made new friends. The perfect sales team. With a heavy heart, I highly recommend, only heavy because I'd like to keep it for myself, but the gallant side of me says, when you're in Whitby, try the Crocodile.

Lovely intimate tapas restaurant. A real find in Whitby. The food was awesome and the service was friendly and unobtrusive. Thoroughly recommend it. But you must book. The Polaroid loo roll holder was certainly a talking point.

Fabulous little place with the warmest of welcomes. The food all freshly cooked was delicious. We ordered too much but tried to finish it all as it was so nice. Coupled with a nice bottle of wine in a really chilled out place and owners who go that extra mile to make sure you have the best experience what’s not to love. We wish them all the success in the world and will definitely revisit in May. Keep up the good work guys and thank you.

So lucky to get in here, fabulous atmosphere wonderful food. Only a tiny place but don't be fooled, the food was simply stunning. Chef was on his own doing everything but was amazing even found time to sit with us and have a drink. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great food and service in this small and friendly restaurant. A great range of tapas, cooked to perfection with swift and personal service. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Absolutely wonderful little Tapas Bistro.... Very small & cosy ,the service was excellent as was the food & wine... Also a very eclectic mix of interesting music ...You really do need to visit....We had a really fabulous time, lots of laughter & banter with the owners...

We love Whitby, but you can only eat so many fish and chips. We discovered this lovely, cosy tapas bar in October and decided it would make for a cosy anniversary meal when we returned in December. The weather was pretty awful, freezing cold and after the snow some heavy rain. What a relief to get inside in the warm, not as warm as the welcome though. Not an extensive menu, too small a place and you know everything fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our food (cod,gamba pil pil, turkey meatballs, spiced cauliflower and the most wonderful chorizo). Can't wait to come back in March! Thank you x

If you’re in Whitby please go and see these guys and gal. Awesome food, wine, and service. The best bearded prickly cuddle at the end of the night. Very intimate but so wholesome. A real hidden gem. Food was amazing. 6 of us visited and had no complaints what so ever. The 2 gentlemen running this were lovely. The service was second to none. I cannot recommend enough. See you again soon.

Had a lovely night at Crocodile the Tapas were just amazing,Chicken Satay Skewers,Sweet Potato and feta, beautiful Squid,Meatballs and some lovely potatoes also sourdoughbread and dips are served excellent range of wines served.Staff were so attentive and friendly,lovely music and atmosphere just what Whitby needs might be a good idea to book especially at weekends as this place is quite small. Will definitely be back !😊
