Such a beautiful renovation since my last visit. Chic and sophisticated, immaculately clean and a busy, welcoming atmosphere. The food and drinks were superb, as we're the staff. My only reason for a 4* service was that after our food, no one asked if we wanted dessert or more drinks and we had to ask twice for the bill. Tiny things but it was quiet by this time so thought I'd mention it 🙈. The staff are, however, super professional and friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely come again soon 😁

Despite being inside a busy shopping centre, it never feels cramped, and the option to sit in the enclosed beer garden at the back is a nice touch—especially on a sunny day. The food is exactly what you’d hope for: tasty, well-priced, and served quickly. The chicken burger and chicken bites are particularly good, and the extensive menu means there’s something for everyone. Ordering through the app is super convenient, making the whole experience even smoother. The staff deserve a special mention—they’re always friendly, helpful, and keep things running efficiently even during busy times. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and that makes a big difference. Overall, The Steel Foundry is a great choice for a casual, affordable meal with a good selection of drinks. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Very expensive as got a parking fine for parking next to the pub. Signs hard to see and very bitter aftertaste for having a nice meal.

You know what you're going to get on a Monday teatime in Wetherspoons! Fast service, whether ordering in person or via the app. Even cheaper beer. Efficient and friendly staff. A long walk to the toilets. What's not to love? Just one thing though. It's a pub, not a post office, so why do the youngsters insist on queuing up in single file to be served? Good bar staff (like these), can easily manage several people stood at the bar at once and provide speedier service thereby.

Proper gem of a pub - was brought here by a local friend, it has everything you could need in a pub. Darts, Pool, Snooker, very reasonably priced drinks, and right by a tramline into central Sheffield. Absolutely will be bringing friends up here again when they next visit, it's a proper hidden gem.
