Didn't eat here .Just had a couple of beers. Pleasant staff and a good atmosphere. Menu looked very good too and reasonably priced. Next time in town to will try it out.Plenty of car parking to.Always handy to have that option

This is my local where I dine out often i ordered a all day breakfast very disappointed said no stock on toast so had bread & butter this was stale so they said i can have toast bacon was overcooked sausage was very pale so sent it back when i got my meal back it was all cold not happy

Had a fabulous time here on Sunday, Sarah and Nathan were absolutely amazing and a credit to the team. Made us feel really welcome and catered to our needs. Food was good, prices also very fair

warm, friendly and accommodating. an amazing menu, plenty of choice. good choice of drinks. cheaper the wetherspoons if you have the deals but the food quality service is far far better here. very happy customers will definitely return

My 1st time here...2 lovely human beings on, Ben & Kerry...made us feel very welcome, Kerry even got me a strawberry for my Prosecco, which I can't drink without.... 5* to both...

The 3 Sunday lunches we had were almost edible the roast potatoes were burnt we had to send them back the Yorkshire puddings were very chewy, and my moms mushroom bake pie was very soggy she couldn't eat it. We did get the money back for that, but we we're very disappointed as the meals are usually good.

Good food decent service not so happy with the sticker I half ate on my chicken and the lack of care about it

Potential.. Nice open space - beer garden ish too. Visited at 4om -- Party pub so don't expect to chat with your friends you'll not hear them. Christmas tree up on 14th September❗ Shame I'd like it otherwise. Not to my taste.

Quite good, decent burgers and chips always hot and fresh. Usually have some good real ales on.

Stopped in for a GnT was ok staff seemed nice enough too.

The member of staff at the bar was incredibly rude, no manners and just plain rude. Will definitely not be wasting my time/effort or money again.

Went for a meal here today,bought drinks, and explored the menu. To then be told we couldn't order food due to a gas leak ? Surely a gas leak should mean no customers? Why not say when ordering drinks ,no food available today.? It's not the first gas leak ,they need to be honest. They would get my approval even if it means no food. Honesty means a lot to customers We could have gone elsewhere if advised earlier. We were on a time limit .disappointing, to say the least.

Had a table booked for food asked one of the female barstaff about and it seemed we'd hit s nerve and was given a poor attitude. Sat down to a sticky table for two rammed in the corner underneath the glass I'm the blazing sun aswell as sticky menus. At this point we left before ordering anything

No ice on the bar on a red hot day Asked for ice and was told it was in the back but no effort to fetch some for us

I've live round Sothall for many years and the food in the belfry hasn't got any better been today and must say this is the worst food I've ever had I won't be going back.

Had a fab night for my sons 30th Kerry and team was amazing nothing was too much trouble even though it was so busy with England match on amazing service 😊

Children have to be out by 8, couldn't get a dessert for him at 7.45. Food was barley edible, we had hunters chicken, was very dry and burnt on bottom. No one even come over and asked how our meal was. Definitely won't be returning.

Had pie, chips and peas but very disappointed as they didn't have any Hendersons. You can't serve pie in Sheffield and not have any Hendos. Hence only 3 stars.

Had a meal there to celebrate my daughters birthday. Lovely staff. Kerry went over and above for us. Visit regularly for drinks too and its always a good atmosphere.

Had a lovely meal and drinks last night served by Kerry who was amazing made my mother-in-law so comfortable service was amazing.

Was spot on kids loved the kids meals and dessert Kerry who served us was very good with kids .The bar lad who served us was good as he did have a qué but he didn't flinch will come again

Lovely family pub, foods really tasty with the new menu. Staffs really friendly, but one staff member goes above and beyond her name tag read Kerry to make you feel really welcome and ensured you had everything you need. It’s a 5 star from me. Thank you

The pu is lovely and clean, staff friendly and helpful. I hadn't been for some time and usually went through the day when the pub was quiet. This was a Saturday evening, so was getting quite loud. Menu had changed and I was struggling to find something I liked and ended up with the Jamaican Stew which came with pilau rice and flat bred. Had expected veggies in the stew but all there was, were a couple of pieces of spring onion. It was tasty, but I have always thought that stews came with veg.!

Met our friends and had a meal, 8 of us. Really enjoyed it from start to finish, great service off Ben and team as usual. New menu is really good, nice different choices, ordered separately, all came at same time which was great, hot, well presented and all really enjoyed it. Thank you 😀

Excellent service this evening for my daughters birthday. Table was provided within minutes of arriving, staff were really friendly, so accommodating towards her and really made her day. The food was amazing!

Food was lovely and enough choice for our gluten free daughter. Kerry brilliant as usual, helping us find a table big enough for our family and making sure everything was ok throughout the meal. 10/10

Went for another meal at this pub and cant fault it the food was lovely and the staff are so helpful got kerry again as had her last time and she remembered us and she couldn't have done more than she did for us so polite and nothing was to much trouble for her shall be going back again .

We have always received great survive and the staff are always friendly and like to chat to you. Kerry is a great waitress who always goes out of her way to help and makes you feel very welcome.

Fantastic staff always go above and beyond. Friendly nothing is too much trouble. We live round the corner it’s our local.

First visit. Polite staff. Clean seating area. Nice pint of shandy. Other customers were adult & seemed sensible. No 'Gobby' youths.

Went to meet friends we hadn't seen in a while, for a bit of a celebration. There were 6 of us in total. There was a few questions about the menu, as one of us had a special diet (no allergies, just preferences). Kerry sorted it all out for us. Staff are in general very friendly and are always chatty. Kerry is particularly good at putting people at ease and making us feel our preferences were not too much trouble. They know how to cook steak and eggs. Very nice food and friendly atmosphere. We'll be back!

Visited for a meal with the family, as part of our annual rememberence of my partners Mum. Food portions were huge and not badly priced. Server's were friendly and when a staff member heard me apologising to my niece, because the desert she wanted was out of stock, she must have told management/FOH and the Lady came and said they'd had a delivery and she could have one if she wanted it (before we even ordered) such a lovely gesture! Thank you

Saturday tea time, full of noisy kids, which was a surprise considering how expensive the drinks were.

Lovely place! We had a great meal, the team were friendly and helpful and everything was great value for money.

Very noisy with uncontrolled children running about plus dogs sitting on the furniture. Half pissed woman that can't have a conversation without screaching and shouting. Not a place for a quiet drink. Plus side, large screen teli for sporting events.

Having visited the Belfry on many occasions we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The food doesn’t fail to satisfy and two meals for £11.99 is great vale for the price. The service is excellent and the atmosphere welcoming.

Tried several times to book by telephone. No answer. Had to come in person to book for a table of 15. On arrival we were seated on separate tables. We had to put tables together ourselves, even so the area we were in made it impossible to sit together. Notice on table saying we had to vacate by a certain time. No one came to tell us what items were unavailable and there were several. This was a family meal and a big disappointment that we weren't all sat together. The big thing is lack of communication from No one answering the phone and not just on the one day but not coming g to tell a large party about unavailability. The female waiting staff were very good and helpful. No serviettes, not enough cutlery, no salt. All in all a very disappointing visit.

Been to belfry today the 2 staff on today were amazing a lady with blonde hair and glasses on the man behind bar was so helpful and polite they both are exceptional staff in this pub cant fault anything will be definitely be returning to this pub in the future thankyou for an enjoyable day .

Popped in for a meal and wasn't disappointed. Beef rib Sunday roast and Half roast chicken Sunday roast. Fantastic service and friendly staff Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic service by Kerry! All 5 of us enjoyed the food including the new Sunday dinner. We will certainly be returning.
