We are really pleased with the Norton landlord Sam and staff are the best landlord and staff Nortons ever hard they are all hard working including the landlord please don't move him elsewhere they are all so helpful and caring

Such a live bubbly place with great food amazing atmosphere, the staff are very polite.

The new refurbishment is a big improvement however some of the clientele are rather sketchy.

Typical pub food, very very busy, had to wait 45 min for food. They were running out of items. I had the curry, they ran out of poppadoms, they gave me extra nan bread, it was rock hard, been in the microwave so wasn't very good. We went on a Sunday afternoon.

Valentine's day meal my dish was burnt

Great time with the family, food was good, but there was a 45 min wait, the pub was very busy. Booking essential and the app for ordering was easy. Will be back very soon 😊

A spontaneous visit for lunch. The waitress and bar staff were so helpful and explained that if we downloaded the sizzling pub app, we could get 40% off food and a free welcome drink. I ordered the grilled salmon, and my friend ordered the Greek goza. The food was amazing 👏 Will absolutely visit Norton again.

We tonight, party of 4, we had pre booked and were seated straight away. We went to order food and they checked for allergies. My daughter is gluten intolerant so they took her order first. We then ordered the rest of our food. We did have a 40% off voucher which we used, knocked out bill down from 58 quid to 37 so bonus there. There was a wait for food which we were made aware of. When our food came out it was piping hot and really nice. The bar staff were lovely too. Over all we will be going back even without the discount from downloading the app.

We booked a table but it was taken, so we had to find a table which seated 6 but was only 2 of us and was to large really

Unfortunately our food was cold, on this occasion. Will probably try again, as it could have been a one off.

Absolutely brilliant place!!! Staff amazing! Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Always enjoy visiting the pub and now it’s had its refurb it looks Fab! Sam and his team are great and Sam has done brilliant building his great team. The only let down is at times the food is very hit and miss but it won’t put me off going back

Went for the festive menu back in December. Food was lovely, great value and the newly refurbished decor is much nicer now. We are locals so staff are always great, it’s got a brilliant atmosphere and we would recommend The Norton.

6 of us went for my birthday, food, as always was really good. My wife had Scampi but there was no tartare sauce with it. When queried was told they didn't have any, not a problem really but she would have liked some. The great thing was that about 5 minutes later someone brought out some sauce and said they had been to the shop next door to buy some as hadn't realised they had run out. That's called going above and beyond as didn't need to do it

El Norton es nuestro pub / restaurante local y ha sido recientemente renovado tanto por dentro como por fuera. El nuevo aspecto es excelente, abriendo la zona principal de comidas y cerrando la sección de pubs a través de una puerta, lo que significa que todas las pantallas de televisión Sky Sports ahora están separadas de la zona de restaurantes. La comida es tan buena como siempre y el personal amable y servicial como siempre. Excelente relación calidad-precio también.

Great place for big parties and get togethers

Bellamente reformado, tenía la parrilla mixta, y mi esposa tenía pinchos de pollo. El personal era educado, la comida era buena, no demasiado tiempo de espera. Pub era un poco frío, pero no insoportable. Es una lástima que los baños no fueran actualizados durante la renovación. Bueno, no nos detendrá de nuevo. La zona exterior se ve preciosa cuando se ilumina por la noche. Buen trabajo!

The staff are so polite and helpful. They seem to genuinely care about the pub and their job which makes all the difference. They are quick to clear tables and clean them down. I’d be proud if they were my team/staff.

Visited this pub with family, and I can say it was absolutely awful, they clearly don’t listen to food instructions. Asked for a medium rare steak and they’ve sent out a steak cooked enough to have u chewing one bite for an hour. The only good thing I can say about this pub is the blonde lady worker who works here, she was doing everything she could for majority of tables and apologising for mistakes which clearly weren’t made by her. Will never visit here again.

Mi hermana y yo almorzamos, en el pub Norton, el personal era brillante y amable, porque yo era intolerante al gluten y lácteos, la ayuda que recibí del personal del bar y el chef fue muy útil, e hicieron todo lo posible, tuve filete y ensalada, que era verdaderamente caliente y delicias, mi hermana tenía el pescado doble, que esperábamos que fuera un pescado pequeño, pero cuando salió fue 2 pescados grandes, una sorpresa encantadora para mi hermana. Como le encanta el pescado. Hermosa, caliente y crujiente, una sorpresa de cumpleaños para mi hermana. El personal también se acercó a preguntar si todo estaba bien, lo que era. Personal servicial encantador y ambiente encantador. Gracias de nuevo.

The Norton is a nice place for everyone.

Didn't eat here, just outside for a drink. This area needs sprucing up and a good sweep, cigarette ends everywhere.

I found the Norton to be good value for money with a varied menu and nice staff who are welcoming. We found it a good family venue in the day time however we haven't been in the evening.

I've booked The Norton's function room twice, for a baby shower and birthday party. I can't recommend this venue enough! We were able to decorate the room as we liked, set up in plenty of time, have a sit down meal but there's also a buffet adoption avaliable too, all for a very reasonable deposit, which gets taken off your food after. We will definitely be using this venue again. We all felt so welcome, the customer service was so professional, friendly, inclusive and of course the food was delicious!

me,my partner went to the Norton pub for a drink then we decided to have something to eat as we look at the menu my partner had the steak with onions and chips, onion rings,he really injoyed it and I had the scampi and chips with mushpeas,l had two bread, butter,it was very nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly, would recommend it to have a meal, good value for money.

So I have drove past this Restaurant/Pub a million times and never been in. I went in with my Daughter today and had the Tandoori Chicken, one of the nicest meals we have ever had!!!! We will definate be coming more often 😀

Called in on the spur as the weather was great and it has a huge beer garden, had a few drinks and then ended up ordering some food, and have to say, it really was lovely, the menu had lots of choice & 2 meals for £11 In the afternoon, great price! Will return again with more people as it really impressed me.

The Norton is a great local pub in Sheffield. It is within easy walking distance from the Doubletree Hotel. I had the fish and chips with peas instead of the mushy peas. I ordered on my phone, but had to ask my table number. The fish and chips were excellent, and not greasy at all. The coating was very light and the cod was cooked just right. I was able to watch a Euro 2024 match with my new temporary neighbors. A fine English afternoon.

Pleasant suburb pub, good surroundings and nice meals , reasonably priced

Recently dined at The Norton in Sheffield with a group of friends. The service was quick and pleasant, with all our dishes served at the same time. The ribs and grilled chicken were delicious and nicely prepared, complemented well by the tasty grilled vegetables. Overall, a great dining experience — highly recommend for a friendly gathering!

We are regular customers at The Norton. The food is always good and the service is impeccable, especially from Izzy who is always so helpful, polite and just lovely. She is an absolute credit to the company.

We call in very occasionally they do a decent pint of moonshine typical of many pubs now stuck between food and being a traditional boozer very quiet in late evening with some dubious characters in attendance!

Its a lovely pub keep doing what your doing

Called in on a Friday night, about 10pm, after dining elsewhere. Staff were lovely but felt uncomfortable with a couple of the people in there. One constantly walking past with hoods on & watching us.

Food was medioca. Pineapple rings were burnt and portion sizes were smaller than usual

Spacious and comfortable. Not much in the way of real ales but plenty of decent lagers to choose from. Not eaten there but looking at the menu, anyone going for a meal should be OK.

The staff were friendly & efficient, but the food was below the standard I expected. Also, the dining chairs were filthy.

Friendly servers. Food was rather dry as if sat around being kept warm. Busier than expected so a longer wait for food.

Okay on the atmosphere but at 5.30pm on a Monday evening hard to give a proper opinion here. Food was hot, good portions and tasty. I will return tomorrow, working near here and staying a couple of nights. Staff all pleasant.

The pub was fantastic walked through the Covid precautions served quickly food was hot and tasty and the manager was so friendly he made us feel at home

Came for a meal on Mother's Day (10th March) with family. Meals arrived quickly and tasted great. Staff were all friendly and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again :-)

Just got back from the Norton with family. I ordered a mix grill with the steak to be medium rare and when it come. It was absolutely perfect and the rest of it was too so complements to the chef. And the male waiter who brought our food was very good aswell. Hats of to the chef and the waiter. I'll definitely be back with the family. O and there food was perfect aswell.

We stay at The Hilton just down the road so walk to the Norton for an evening meal. The food is always excellent and a reasonable price. We like to be served by the waitress Harriet as she is very friendly polite and extremely experienced. She makes sure that you have all the condiments and cutlery and that the food is to your liking. Always a very nice welcoming smile. Look forward to our next visit.
