The staff are so polite and helpful. They seem to genuinely care about the pub and their job which makes all the difference. They are quick to clear tables and clean them down. I’d be proud if they were my team/staff.

Visited this pub with family, and I can say it was absolutely awful, they clearly don’t listen to food instructions. Asked for a medium rare steak and they’ve sent out a steak cooked enough to have u chewing one bite for an hour. The only good thing I can say about this pub is the blonde lady worker who works here, she was doing everything she could for majority of tables and apologising for mistakes which clearly weren’t made by her. Will never visit here again.

My sister and myself had lunch, at the Norton pub, the staff was brilliant and friendly, because I was gluten and dairy intolerant, the help I received from the bar staff and the chef was very helpful, and did every, they could, I had steak and salad, which was truely hot and delishes, my sister had the double fish, which we expected to be a small fish, but when it came out it was 2 big fish, a lovely surprise for my sister. As she loves fish. Beautiful, hot and crispy, a birthday surprise for my sister. The staff also came up to ask if everything was ok which it was. Lovely helpful staff and lovely atmosphere. Thank you again

Didn't eat here, just outside for a drink. This area needs sprucing up and a good sweep, cigarette ends everywhere.

I found the Norton to be good value for money with a varied menu and nice staff who are welcoming. We found it a good family venue in the day time however we haven't been in the evening.

I've booked The Norton's function room twice, for a baby shower and birthday party. I can't recommend this venue enough! We were able to decorate the room as we liked, set up in plenty of time, have a sit down meal but there's also a buffet adoption avaliable too, all for a very reasonable deposit, which gets taken off your food after. We will definitely be using this venue again. We all felt so welcome, the customer service was so professional, friendly, inclusive and of course the food was delicious!

me,my partner went to the Norton pub for a drink then we decided to have something to eat as we look at the menu my partner had the steak with onions and chips, onion rings,he really injoyed it and I had the scampi and chips with mushpeas,l had two bread, butter,it was very nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly, would recommend it to have a meal, good value for money.

So I have drove past this Restaurant/Pub a million times and never been in. I went in with my Daughter today and had the Tandoori Chicken, one of the nicest meals we have ever had!!!! We will definate be coming more often 😀

Called in on the spur as the weather was great and it has a huge beer garden, had a few drinks and then ended up ordering some food, and have to say, it really was lovely, the menu had lots of choice & 2 meals for £11 In the afternoon, great price! Will return again with more people as it really impressed me.

The Norton is a great local pub in Sheffield. It is within easy walking distance from the Doubletree Hotel. I had the fish and chips with peas instead of the mushy peas. I ordered on my phone, but had to ask my table number. The fish and chips were excellent, and not greasy at all. The coating was very light and the cod was cooked just right. I was able to watch a Euro 2024 match with my new temporary neighbors. A fine English afternoon.

Pleasant suburb pub, good surroundings and nice meals , reasonably priced

Recently dined at The Norton in Sheffield with a group of friends. The service was quick and pleasant, with all our dishes served at the same time. The ribs and grilled chicken were delicious and nicely prepared, complemented well by the tasty grilled vegetables. Overall, a great dining experience — highly recommend for a friendly gathering!

We are regular customers at The Norton. The food is always good and the service is impeccable, especially from Izzy who is always so helpful, polite and just lovely. She is an absolute credit to the company.

We call in very occasionally they do a decent pint of moonshine typical of many pubs now stuck between food and being a traditional boozer very quiet in late evening with some dubious characters in attendance!

Its a lovely pub keep doing what your doing

Called in on a Friday night, about 10pm, after dining elsewhere. Staff were lovely but felt uncomfortable with a couple of the people in there. One constantly walking past with hoods on & watching us.

Food was medioca. Pineapple rings were burnt and portion sizes were smaller than usual

The staff were friendly & efficient, but the food was below the standard I expected. Also, the dining chairs were filthy.

Spacious and comfortable. Not much in the way of real ales but plenty of decent lagers to choose from. Not eaten there but looking at the menu, anyone going for a meal should be OK.

Friendly servers. Food was rather dry as if sat around being kept warm. Busier than expected so a longer wait for food.

Okay on the atmosphere but at 5.30pm on a Monday evening hard to give a proper opinion here. Food was hot, good portions and tasty. I will return tomorrow, working near here and staying a couple of nights. Staff all pleasant.

Came for a meal on Mother's Day (10th March) with family. Meals arrived quickly and tasted great. Staff were all friendly and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again :-)

Just got back from the Norton with family. I ordered a mix grill with the steak to be medium rare and when it come. It was absolutely perfect and the rest of it was too so complements to the chef. And the male waiter who brought our food was very good aswell. Hats of to the chef and the waiter. I'll definitely be back with the family. O and there food was perfect aswell.

We stay at The Hilton just down the road so walk to the Norton for an evening meal. The food is always excellent and a reasonable price. We like to be served by the waitress Harriet as she is very friendly polite and extremely experienced. She makes sure that you have all the condiments and cutlery and that the food is to your liking. Always a very nice welcoming smile. Look forward to our next visit.

Was really lovely and not a far walk love over the road

We were staying at The Hilton Double Tree for two nights, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December and decided to go here for an evening meal. The staff were fantastic, extremely helpful and polite. The food was wonderful. I ordered the loaded surf and turf. My steak was cooked to perfection and the garlic prawns were moist and tasty. It was so good, we went back the Saturday night with 33 other members of our hotel party. They got our orders out quickly and correct....which isn't always easy with a large booking. All steak orders were again cooked perfectly. Overall, an extremely good value for money evening out. Well done to all of the staff. Keep doing what you're doing.

Wow what a place....we were staying at the Hilton down the road for the first time, but were told by the very large group of people we were with to eat at the Norton. Fantastic. The service and staff were fantastic. And the food was really tasty, great size portions and really well priced. On the Saturday we booked as a group for 35 people. The food came out jn double quick time, was all accurate, nobody was missed out and it was all hot and to the same standard as the evening before when we at as a far smaller group. If you are in the area give this place a try.....you will not be disappointed!!!

Birthday drinks after a curry. Flies everywhre. At the end of the night pushed out of the bar into the freezing cold whist we were still drinking so ordered a tqxi. Tried to wait in the porch area for our taxi. But told cannot wait there. Shame about the harsh abrupt end. Put a very negative end to the night and won't be returning.

Nipped in after taking kids swimming, food was amazing, quick and easy to order, staff were friendly and easy to talk too, will recommend it to all my family and friends

Very established pub eating house people drop in for a drink on way home from work or just to stay awhile good place to bring children any age wellcome the food is very good indeed I had chicken tika masalla served with poppadoms mango chuckney nan bread onion barjies and chips it was delicious my partner had surf an turf said was very good drinks a great price situated on busy main road but good parking and lot of spaces bus stop also handy staff very good and helpful really good will come again enjoyed plenty of offers on drinks really naughty pudding selection 😀

The service was great but sadly the food not so great. We asked for medium rare steaks, they didn’t come like this but didn’t say anything as we would have to wait even longer for another to come out… the chicken dippers looked very dry and over done so my daughter didn’t really enjoy them. The only thing we really enjoyed was the drinks. So for us to spend £40 odd for a meal, and to be disappointed… we’ve been there before and the portion sizes were bigger too. One of the steaks was very grizzly and could barely chew it. Won’t be returning for food but will for drinks

We love it at the Norton myself and my wife and our family friend who was 99 years old on the 24th of October and I was 54 the meal was great as always and the staff were excellent with an allergy I have were great

We went on spec and both chose a sizzling sirloin steak topped with big garlic prawns (I’ve forgotten what it’s called on the menu!), served with chips (a big bowl full) the best onion rings I’ve ever tasted, grilled tomato, really good fried mushrooms and sautéed onions. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked (we both requested it rare and that’s what we got). It was served very quickly, With two large soft drinks the bill was only just over £30.

Booked here after a funeral for 14 people, the staff were so lovely and made us all feel welcome, so relaxed and made us all feel better after our sad occasion.

Called in with my wife for tea (22/09/2023)and we wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the Goodfella burger and she had the Dirty dog hot dog, food and drinks were delivered in very reasonable time and we were not disappointed with the portion size….I even said I didn’t expect the burger to be that big! Both were delicious and clean plates were left. Thanks guys, keep up the good work because it was excellent!

My husband & I came this evening for an early evening meal.Everything was spot on.I had the chicken & steak combo my husband had the sirloin steak.It was all cooked to perfection.We even sent compliments to the chef.The staff were friendly & efficient.A very pleasant all round experience.

Lovely pub, staff were brilliant. Couldn't complain about the food, 2nd time I've been whilst visiting Sheffield. One thing I forget about is how loud family's in Sheffield are and although I was with my in-laws I could hardly concentrate on our conversations due to the loud tables around me.....but if your used to that, you can't go wrong with a sizzler pub and the Norton is bang on for food and friendly staff

The food was decent, if be it very tight on the portion size. Was seated next to a very loud speaker but was moved on request. Overall I'd say a very average pub meal. If you're looking for any sight of thrills go elsewhere but is decent and not too overly expensive.

We visited for a meal we had 2 for £10.50 twice and we booked a table a few weeks before hand and I got a email Friday morning reminding me that I had a table booked for that evening I was given the table for 2 hours which was ample time

Friendly staff all throughout our time in the pub. We were served quickly and pleasantly i think the lady was called Becky. Food was lovely and came out well cooked and hot.

Great can get busy at times but staff and service was spot on. Freindly, nice atmosphere food is great plenty to choose from good price, drinks selection well take your pick. Parking available and family freindly.

Dropped in for a game of poker, feeling Hank Marvin and lost before 9pm, so ordered a sweet snack. The sticky toffee pudding really hits the spot and sorted me out. Top notch 👌

I regularly attend the poker night on a Tuesday. It's a very enjoyable night with great banter. We are very well looked after by the staff who come down and take our order from us at the table so we don't have to get up and go to the bar while we are playing. We also often get food. On top of the it's a great pint at a decent price. Even better when it's after a bank holiday and the Monday club offer is held on the Tuesday instead 👍

I always enjoy my visits to the Norton, I'm always impressed with the food and the service is fantastic.

Really enjoyed my visit. Cracking pint and great atmosphere. Plus got my kids meals for £1 which is superb value.
