Visited Sheffield recently, and stumbled across this local! Absolutely amazing atmosphere, the land lady couldn’t have been more welcoming and inviting, great choice of beer and spirits. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the Area !

Landlady incredibly unprofessional and contemptuous of good customers. Doesn't deserve anyone's money for her overpriced drinks.

New Year’s Day went to my local with the family as usual to see my good friends and family. The land lady had obviously gone too far on New Year’s Eve to even bother herself to be hospitable or even have the desired selection of drinks, you would expect in any establishment. This is the usual case but Lucy usually sends Danny her partner to the shop to collect some white wine for my partner, on this occasion it was too much trouble for them so after being there over an hour my partner goes and buys a bottle of wine to bring into the pub. She brings the wine into the pub and is set up on by a very aggressive hungover land lady. Who begins swearing and shouting in front of my 9 and 3 year old daughters. My partner offered to pay a corkage fee but this was not good enough. We were barred from the pub along with my friends and family. Then they proceeded to make false claims about us making out we wouldn’t pay for drinks this is not the case, the drinks were just not available to purchase which unfortunately is a common occurrence in this poorly run business. On the upside there is a lovely pub just up the road called the Queens ground with a lovely land lady, who is very welcoming with every tipple you would wish for. Stay away from the venom waiting for you in the unwelcoming Masons Arms Carl Wild

Was up in sheffield for the weekend, came to this pub for a drink and the landlady was great. Gave us info on trams, spoke about football and let me park in the car park for free due to a lack of better options. Good pool table and fair drink prices. Felt welcomed and will definitely come back next time i’m up visiting

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town when we decided to drop into this great pub and what a great find . A lovely looking pub ,a proper pubby interior, great decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a proper traditional pub indeed. We were here on a Wednesday early evening, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ended up opting to have John Smiths Brewery bitter ,these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My bitter was really good, a much underrated beer style, very refreshing and served in absolutely fantastic condition, both myself and my twin brother Stephen totally enjoyed our bitters here before we moved on and for a first time visit to The Masons Arms Pub we were totally impressed. The Masons Arms Pub is easy to locate along Langsett Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Open from Midday. A great pub, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Masons Arms is a local pub that offers a decent range of drinks and is located on Langsett road. The Masons Arms was a pub we went to on a three day city break to Sheffield and is a classic local boozer and one we visited on our way back from Hillsborough. Housed in a traditional pub building with a traditional pub interior with superb seating options throughout the whole pubs interior and very friendly staff. We noticed this pub while travelling on the tram and decided to jump off the tram and have a few beers. The first thing we noticed about this pub was the staff who were very friendly. When here we had a glass of John Smith's brewery bitter which where served in perfect condition and well priced. The Masons Arms is well worth visiting and very easy to find from Bamforth street tram stop its a minute walk. (This is my first review of the Masons Arms). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-12.00-23.00. Nearest Tram Stop Bamforth street tram stop.

Absolutely awful. Booked a meal at least a week in advance. Greeted by a bartender who said we had to wait to be seated until his boss turned up After ten minutes we insisted we be served because his boss had no intention of sorting out our booking. Eventually the bartender took our orders by this time it was 20 minutes after our booking time. The food was pretty poor. The peas amazingly were over microwaved yet cold !!! The chicken had been microwaved so much it was tough as old boots. After nearly 30 mins the dessert arrived. Sadly it had been subjected to the same over-zapping and turned out to be the toughest rhubarb crumble we have ever had. Strange that because the waiter told us it was apple and salted caramel. The custard was pretty good tho. I suppose it’s hard to burn custard although given time I’m sure they could do it. Fortunately we won’t have to return again.
