The best restaurants serving British food in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Been several times over recent times. Met friends for coffee and had a breakfast. good, friendly service and always busy and lively. great place.

Essendo a meta strada tra Sheffield e Manchestermi sono fermato in questo Hotel nel centro del Peak District. Situato in una zona che idealmente rappresenta l'inghilterra, molto verde e molto ventosa. Le camere sono pulite e spaziose cosi come il bagno. Staff cordialissimo, ho cenato con birra "Ale" tipica di quelle zone, hamburger e sticky toffea pudding. Che dire tutto ottimo sono andato a letto contento. La mattina ho fatto colazione un po a buffet e per i caldi alla carta ma devo dire tutto molto veloce e buono. niente di complicato ma comunque buono. ce wi fi quasi in tutta la struttura. il bar è come il tipico pub o taverna di passaggio,dove si puo sorseggiare una buona birra e una jacket potato su un divano. consigliato anche per chi vuole correre fuori dalla struttura. C'è un paesaggio surreale.

Stunning setting, beautiful bar, great parking and tastefully decorated restaurant. Unfortunately that’s where the compliments end. Food tasteless and cold; service from bar and kitchen laughable; overpriced drinks; good food spoilt by the chef. I’ve never had anyone suggest eating here so it was a punt and now I know why. What a waste of a fabulous venue.

Good food, kind setvice. A nice place where you can enjoy a breakfast or sandwich. Some plates have reasonable prices, others look overpriced.

Good food, lovely atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. We stayed in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our spacious room with excellent views of the canal, Quays. Excellent spa. Brilliant swimming pool.

Says buy one get one free on draught beers between certain hours, however if you order half a beer that does not count for buy one get one free .. big con

Absoloutky awful I asked for a steak bake they looked at me weird and gave me tea so then I got a sausage roll and it was cold

Typical Greggs - you know what you're getting. But always a massive queue ! There are plenty of staff, but most of the time, they're in the back preparing stuff. Appreciate this needs doing but surely can be done before they open ?? 1 person serving most of the time on a morning. Must be losing a fortune with the number of people that walk out due to waiting times.

Sunday dinner- £16.95 for 2 small slices of roast beef, 3 very small roast potatoes, half a carrot and 1 parsnip, 1 tablespoon of cabbage- seriously! They are so stingy on portions. Definitely avoid. Complete rip off

Waited a long time for our meals usually very quick but was ok

Called in after a meal in a local restraunt , was ok kareok on a Saturday night , was no to busy ,got served ok did seem a bit klickie in the main room so sat in the back room with a few other people and a suit of armour ,a decent drink would call again .

Great breakfast. Beth and other staff all fab! Will be back.

Been coming here for years… best chippy in town… Matt is so lovely and welcoming and makes me a fresh fish every time . Super clean . Delicious
