Went in 13/3/25 to try the new menu what came out the day before as always it’s excellent the new house platter had everything that I like the new cheese doughnuts are amazing I could just eat a bowl of them on there own

Go in here regular for food and never been disappointed they also have some good deals on

Popped in for after work tea, nice place, there were plenty of people in for a Tuesday, food was nice and so were the staff, the only downside was the smell of fried onions on our clothes after which could still be smelt this morning, we didn't even have anything with fried onions 🤣🤣🤣

Used to be a really good pub. But the clientele has become so chav and gobby. Sadly took a downward turn. Can't blame the management.... just slowly had customers turning up that are scroats.

The staff who work at the travellers are good at their jobs and enjoy their work. I must say a big Thank you to Ashley ( Winn Weatherman) behind the Bar

I had the rib and rump and the beef rib was beautiful, husband had the giant chicken gyros and said he would definitely order it again.

Came about 6 months ago and the food was lovely. However, today wasn't so great. I asked like I did on our previous visit if the clucking hot chicken burger could be swapped for beef as my hubby prefers beef. Last time Sandy asked the chef if it was OK and he said yes. However, this time, we were told no. So he had to have the chicken. Anyway our food arrived and our server said oh didn't they tell you we've ran out of skillets, so my steak and chicken combo and the mixed grills we ordered came on normal plates and the chicken wasn't even that warm. Bit disappointing this time. 😕

We use other sizzler pubs and usually have a good experience this just wasn't the case here it looks scruffy the bar staff were rude and the food was really below par We shan't be back

Lovely clean pub and friendly staff. Food was nice and plentiful. We were a party of 8 and no complaints. Good value for money. Only qualm is local clientele, a few rowdy people who found it acceptable to swear in front of children, but no fault of the pub. This was our second visit and we will return.

The food was amazing cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the mega mix grill and giant gyros.

Had a family night for new years eve (8 of us), ordered from the app, no problems, all the food came out together and all piping hot. Very nice and good value for money. Staff very attentive, and friendly, cant do enough for you. Special shout out to Ash who always has the glass ready when we walk in to pour my partners guiness. Thank you Sandy for always welcoming us. Happy new year guys.

Nice grills served on red hot sizzling skillets

Good menu options for a pub. Reasonably priced meals and drinks. Been several times, never had a bad meal. Sometimes can get very busy, so you may need to book in advance.

The meal classic mixed grill was outstanding in flavour, presentation was good, We really enjoyed our visit. I did however ask for a piece of cake with a candle on when I booked my table but no one mentioned it when I placed my order.

11 went there on Saturday night. They have a new menu which had some lovely new thing on. We didn't have to wait too long for food. All the staff were lovely.

Made a reservation & went here on 8th December. A very warm welcome from staff as always. The staff here are just brilliant. So pleasant & efficient. Quick service at the bar. Ordered food & it was at our table within a reasonable time. Each person in our group had different dishes & there was no complaints. Lovely atmosphere in the pub. I highly recommend going here.

Visit this pub most Thursday after football training. Staff are always friendly and the food is great. If you use the app the offers are excellent. Can’t knock it 👍

Absolutely disgusting food service shocking asked for manager waited over 20 minutes had to go and ask again for the manager felt like they was hiding away this should’ve been an enjoyable time as it was a 21st birthday!!! Not once was we asked if our meals was ok wasn’t asked if we wanted extra sauces and the table condiments was empty had to go looking for some the salt pots well all the salt was hard … the cleanliness was poor cobwebs all over stuff under tables on the floor and to top it off my little girl was at home for half hour before she was being sick which it probably food poisoning absolutely disgusted with this place ❌❌❌ avoid at all costs

Been here quite a few times for our evening meal and usually it's very good but I attended a 50th birthday tonight I ordered a well done rump steak and after cutting into it it was red raw in the middle a few half cooked mushrooms came on a plate instead of a sizzling plate I can honestly say it's the worst food I have ever had and I won't be returning although the dog enjoyed the steak.

Our local, beer is good, food is good, service is good, beer garden in summer is excellent, sandy runs a good pub/eatery overall!!

Me and my son had a lovely trip to the travellers today. I had one of the nicest steaks iv had for a long time and my son loved his dinner and pudding. We were served by such a lovely lady called Di , her customer service was amazing and was so friendly . The bar staff were really lovely aswell. We will definitely be coming back more often.

Had a few lunches here since the pub has been renovated. Absolutely beautiful meal today. Chicken Tikka Skewers with roasted Mediterranean vegetables. Absolute favourite from now! Really tender chicken and very satisfying. Cooked to perfection. Served “sizzling” and very quickly. I used to come here before it was renovated but stopped visiting as the food wasn’t very good then. But since it’s reopened it’s vastly improved. Not expensive either. Definitely recommended.

We have just come back from here,and we ordered the sharing shack for 3 people,the amount that came out was 9 small nuggets and small dips for 3 people which cost £11.29,I asked the server where was the rest of it,and that was it ,OMG WHAT A RIP OFF, I asked for the manager and said where’s the rest of it,my granddaughter could have eaten that on her own,the manager went back to get use 6 more nuggets.

Steak was horrible asked for medium rare it came out more well done was dry, over cooked and the meat was fatty.

My husband and I have been in the Travellers quite a few times and every time we have had an amazing meal. The last time we visited was on Friday, and we had the scampi and fish and chips. The food was hot and tasted delicious. The service on Friday was absolutely fantastic as well, we were served by Annie, Holly, Rose and Sandy. The deals the Travellers offer are fantastic and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat.

Went today after a funeral not enough staff to cope ordered food which took ages and was truly awful didn't want to complain because it was a funeral get together but can't recommend

I had a great experience visiting. I loved the hospitality and friendly atmosphere , especially the great service from Annie snd Holly. Will definitely be visiting again.

Our 1st ever visit here, we had a lovely evening. We were greeted by Holly behind the bar. She was lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Sandy the bar manager was also friendly and very helpful when it came to our food order. My hubby wanted a burger but the one he wanted was only available in chicken but he wanted beef. So Sandy checked with the kitchen if they could do that and they said yes, so a big thank you to all the kitchen staff for keeping my hubby happy. The food was amazing by the way, piping hot, decent potion sizes and very tasty. Overall, lovely pub, great atmosphere, tasty food, with friendly, helpful, hard working staff. Great job guys, hope to see you again soon. Kelly & Andy xx

The Travellers Inn is a nice little pub, serves some good food, has some good drink options too, and is generally OK. Came here for lunch the other day with a friend, and we both liked it. We would come again.

Visited her for the 1st time in around 5 years. The food was amazing and at a really decent price. Couldn't fault the service. All over great experience.

We have eaten here many times and food usually excellent, however yesterday the sizzling dishes were definitely not sizzling, not very warm at all, especially chips and onion rings. Also not appropriate when you are sat at a table enjoying your afternoon and staff suddenly put a reserved sign on your table for another party. This has happened on many occasions. Just been in again with friends. Booked table from 12 noon. No complaints re food. Lovely and hot today. Yet again though staff member came up, need to move 4.00 - 4.15pm as table booked! No prior warning, no ticket on table we spent goid money on food and drinks. This is a pub so if you have a table you should not be moved. Also nobody had turned up for table at 4.45!!! So bad. Higher management need to be aware.

Sorry to say but the wait after ordering food was too long even for the drinks as we'd ordered from the qr code on the table so thought it would be quicker. The food wasn't bad but I will say I thought it was overcooked and quite dry but we could have just turned up on a bad day.

Great food everytime and great staff and a lovely atmosphere with a huge beer garden with a play area for when the sun is shining.

My partner and I went in for a quick bite to eat, both had a different chicken burger and upgraded our fries to dirty fries. Unfortunatly, when my burger came out it was missing bacon, cheese and bbq sauce. The member of staff that I spoke to were very apologetic and sorted out my order straight away with no issues. The food was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again.

From ordering food and drinks and told the wait time was 20 minutes, it was on time, food was hot and delicious to say it was very busy. I definitely recommend the mega mix grill.

It's our best sizzling pub to meet friends but as with every other sizzling pub or other chains the peas are like bullets. Either your buying cheap pea's or your cooks are murdering birds eye. Everything else is fine.

I attended the funeral buffet for my late step father in law. We are a mix of vegetarian/ vegan. The food selection was very poor. There was nothing for vegans except onion rings, and the cheese on the nachos and in the wraps was cheap processed- very 1970s. We had to buy food for the children. In this day and age, there should automatically be non-meat selections included, such as salad /falafel or hummus etc. And why put melted processed cheese on the nachos? At least they could have been used with dips if left dry, or topped with proper cheese.

Went to the travellers last night for a meal, I ordered the 7oz gammon which comes with chips, pineapple, egg and peas and my partner had the chicken burger. My gammon was so fatty I had 2 mouthfuls and the oven chips were rock hard and cold. My partners burger was overcooked and dry. The most disgusting meal I’ve ever had.

Drinks are all good however was told food had stopped at 8pm then saw someone being served food at 9pm!! surely didn’t take an hour for their food to be served so they must’ve ordered after we’d already been told no food was on? clearly bad customer service skills when the staff are giving false information out.

It was very busy and we were informed that the waiting time was one and a half hours for food. It did arrive but the skillet tomato were burnt black and inedible. The food was nice and we'd come again.
