Waited ages for food,they got food mixed up,waitress wasn't very nice,put food down but didn't even tell us who's food was who's

We came in the other day the staff who was on was amazing especially Rose and Sandy the food was amazing and steaks was cooked perfect from Georgia

Absolutely fantastic place to go for a few drinks with family/mates and a brilliant place for food always nice and the staff and management are all amazing highly rate this place

Had a lovely time today in the beer garden with my children and grand children. Was slightly busy but food was lovely, customer service from Di was fabulous, thanks guys...

We have just come back from here,and we ordered the sharing shack for 3 people,the amount that came out was 9 small nuggets and small dips for 3 people which cost £11.29,I asked the server where was the rest of it,and that was it ,OMG WHAT A RIP OFF, I asked for the manager and said where’s the rest of it,my granddaughter could have eaten that on her own,the manager went back to get use 6 more nuggets.

Steak was horrible asked for medium rare it came out more well done was dry, over cooked and the meat was fatty.

My husband and I have been in the Travellers quite a few times and every time we have had an amazing meal. The last time we visited was on Friday, and we had the scampi and fish and chips. The food was hot and tasted delicious. The service on Friday was absolutely fantastic as well, we were served by Annie, Holly, Rose and Sandy. The deals the Travellers offer are fantastic and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat.

Went today after a funeral not enough staff to cope ordered food which took ages and was truly awful didn't want to complain because it was a funeral get together but can't recommend

Loved it here, the service was amazing especially the hospitality of two lovey ladies Annie and Holly. Will definitely be returning :)

Our 1st ever visit here, we had a lovely evening. We were greeted by Holly behind the bar. She was lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Sandy the bar manager was also friendly and very helpful when it came to our food order. My hubby wanted a burger but the one he wanted was only available in chicken but he wanted beef. So Sandy checked with the kitchen if they could do that and they said yes, so a big thank you to all the kitchen staff for keeping my hubby happy. The food was amazing by the way, piping hot, decent potion sizes and very tasty. Overall, lovely pub, great atmosphere, tasty food, with friendly, helpful, hard working staff. Great job guys, hope to see you again soon. Kelly & Andy xx

The Travellers Inn is a nice little pub, serves some good food, has some good drink options too, and is generally OK. Came here for lunch the other day with a friend, and we both liked it. We would come again.

Served by Annie the food was excellent piping hot there was 7 of us we all had different &we all got served at the same time.excellent service

We have eaten here many times and food usually excellent, however yesterday the sizzling dishes were definitely not sizzling, not very warm at all, especially chips and onion rings. Also not appropriate when you are sat at a table enjoying your afternoon and staff suddenly put a reserved sign on your table for another party. This has happened on many occasions. Just been in again with friends. Booked table from 12 noon. No complaints re food. Lovely and hot today. Yet again though staff member came up, need to move 4.00 - 4.15pm as table booked! No prior warning, no ticket on table we spent goid money on food and drinks. This is a pub so if you have a table you should not be moved. Also nobody had turned up for table at 4.45!!! So bad. Higher management need to be aware.

Visited her for the 1st time in around 5 years. The food was amazing and at a really decent price. Couldn't fault the service. All over great experience.

Sorry to say but the wait after ordering food was too long even for the drinks as we'd ordered from the qr code on the table so thought it would be quicker. The food wasn't bad but I will say I thought it was overcooked and quite dry but we could have just turned up on a bad day.

My partner and I went in for a quick bite to eat, both had a different chicken burger and upgraded our fries to dirty fries. Unfortunatly, when my burger came out it was missing bacon, cheese and bbq sauce. The member of staff that I spoke to were very apologetic and sorted out my order straight away with no issues. The food was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again.

From ordering food and drinks and told the wait time was 20 minutes, it was on time, food was hot and delicious to say it was very busy. I definitely recommend the mega mix grill.

It's our best sizzling pub to meet friends but as with every other sizzling pub or other chains the peas are like bullets. Either your buying cheap pea's or your cooks are murdering birds eye. Everything else is fine.

I attended the funeral buffet for my late step father in law. We are a mix of vegetarian/ vegan. The food selection was very poor. There was nothing for vegans except onion rings, and the cheese on the nachos and in the wraps was cheap processed- very 1970s. We had to buy food for the children. In this day and age, there should automatically be non-meat selections included, such as salad /falafel or hummus etc. And why put melted processed cheese on the nachos? At least they could have been used with dips if left dry, or topped with proper cheese.

Went to the travellers last night for a meal, I ordered the 7oz gammon which comes with chips, pineapple, egg and peas and my partner had the chicken burger. My gammon was so fatty I had 2 mouthfuls and the oven chips were rock hard and cold. My partners burger was overcooked and dry. The most disgusting meal I’ve ever had.

Drinks are all good however was told food had stopped at 8pm then saw someone being served food at 9pm!! surely didn’t take an hour for their food to be served so they must’ve ordered after we’d already been told no food was on? clearly bad customer service skills when the staff are giving false information out.

It was very busy and we were informed that the waiting time was one and a half hours for food. It did arrive but the skillet tomato were burnt black and inedible. The food was nice and we'd come again.

The food was delicious as always. Great staff only downside is I had gin and asked twice no ice and I still got ice I hate ice as it effects my gums but still had to pay full price and take the ice out myself. The lady Was not willing to change the drink !I know it’s a moan but it’s an expensive drink to not enjoy how I asked. However I love this place and staff food 💯 go back !!! Thank you

Came in with a friend and normally the food and drinks are always top notch however, quiet Thursday and my food was clearly left under a heater to keep warm which ended up drying out and over cooking my chicken for over 30 mins while people who ordered after us were getting their food in good time Despite the disappointing food staff were super friendly and lots of friendly people in

Honestly, I am in every weekend and couldn't ask for a better pub/restaurant. Great food which is always updating. Great service with bar staff that you can have a serious laugh with and go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and safe. Would highly recommend visiting this pub.

Nipped in to meet a friend, service was good, Atmosphere of the pub seemed good as well. didn't have any food. Choice of beer wasn't great. larger was just plain usual types and cider was just strongbow (on draught)

Great food. Busy pub. Surely if tables are reserved the notices should be put on the tables before they open. You would then be able to choose a table that you could keep. It felt as though we'd paid and eaten our food and then kicked out.

There is a big beer garden and a medium size car park, Food was nice and tasty and cooked well, staff busy but still friendly. Can get busy all runs quite smooth. We all liked it and will go again.

The food/ drinks and service was excellent, the only thing I would say is that the table you gave us as not large people we couldn’t possibly get sat at the table to eat a meal or even hav a drink it was so close knit to the other tables, luckily a kind gentleman moved to let us have the table he was sat at

Food was nice just very disappointed in portion size, I ordered cheesy chips at £2.99 but i was brought the smallest dish with about 6 chips and a tiny sprinkle of cheese?! For nearly £3 surely you could do better, they tasted lovely but I wouldn’t be tempted to order any sides in the future… sorry

Cold chicken on a sizzling plate that's a bit weird, chips are nice if not seasoned at all but good selection of condiments, burgers are pretty good but the biggest problem would be getting anything on the menu which they have in stock.

Booked a big table for all the family 1 month in advance, turned up they hadn't booked anything in so just lied to me over the phone then stuck my family on 2 separate tables in the kids area full of noisy kids running around ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING SERVICE after that went to order food but didn't have in the ingredients to make what I ordered so had to pick something I didn't want I then ordered a cocktail and the idiot make it completely wrong and put it in a half filled pint glass 😤 I was then told we would be waiting 30- 40 mins for our food I WAITED AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES and finally when my food came my medium rare steak was cooked to death burned most of the way through massively over cooked and to top it off every bit of my food had been burned to charcoal on my plate and im not blowing this out of proportion ALL OV MY FOOD WAS BURNED TO CHARCOAL AND STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PLATE. Worst service I have ever had worst experience I have ever had WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD never going there ever again ( why refurb a pub and and change the menu and make it ten times worse than it was before worst place I have ever been.

Arrived just after 5pm for a meal it was getting busy but food arrived really quickly and was gorgeous chicken skewer with salad….. the salad depressing is the best I’ve tasted anywhere … Rosie on the bar was very professional and knew exactly who was next in line to be served! Went for drinks. Menu seemed ok. Stayed for tea. Scampi, chips & peas. No frills. Just that. Filled a corner. DO NOT wear anything you care about. My hair & clothes smell like I’ve been cooking all day. Everything in the wash😢

Brilliant service lovely food friendly atmosphere

We try to get together as a family at least once a month and this is the place we meet and have lunch. We always book a table via the app, which we find easy to do. We’ve been a few times now, and our table is always ready for us, great service from Ash and as yet our food has always been good. We would also say good value.

The great food menu is extensive . The staff were all welcoming, very polite, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks offered. Made me aware of the deals and value for money items. Will be going again, definitely. Recently moved into the area, and the Travellers has a welcoming and friendly clientele. I was very impressed.

First time here as not from this side of town. Had a lovely time and the food was amazing, great menu.

Lovely friendly staff we bought a groupon to try food as we heard it had a re vamp The mushroom starter just tasted of oil when u bit into them and the fajitas was tasteless I was quite dissapointed as it’s a local place for me to choose from but sadly I won’t returning wasn’t for us at all!
