Costa Coffee in Sheffield

Small coffee shop located upstairs in Sandersons Store. Clean and tidy, decent Costa coffee what you would expect,good selection of snacks. Toilets are to the rear of the store same floor.

I don't like Costa or Starbucks,

Love a Costa. Coffee to the expected standard and service good too. A little cramped, tables and floor messy but did see area being cleaned as we left TWYN

Great place .Food treats are all full of sugar.Doesnt help with diabetes. Should be yogurts and fruit maybe.

Within the Fox Valley Shopping area. Ample free parking for 3 hrs or you can pay if you want to stay longer. Not a great selection of food on the day and time we visited. It can get a little cramped when busy as tables and chairs are quite close near the entrance. Not the best cafe to visit but if you need a break from your journey it's OK.

Yesterday we visited Costa at Fox Valley, I hope the company really appreciates just how good the staff there are. Georgia and Ben were amazing ! They were not only very professional but also very kind, pleasant and friendly, especially to our 2 Labradors. Georgia brought out 2 bowls of water without being asked and offered the dogs a pup cup which they loved ! . I am very pleased to learn that Costa now allows dogs in the cafe, my friend and I often call for a drink after an early morning walk in the summer but now we will be able to call in the colder months as well. As you walk in the friendly, happy atmosphere greets you and a welcome smile from Georgia and Ben really do make you feel happy and relaxed and ready to enjoy good food and drink whilst taking a breather from the busy day that stretches out in front of you. We have never had a complaint about the quality of the food and drink at Costa but not all the staff we have come across over the years have made us feel so welcome. I hope the company appreciate Georgia and Ben as they really could teach a lot of people about providing a first class customer service, they were excellent in every way. “Thank you Georgia and Ben “

Not being from the local area, this was our first visit to Fox Valley. We started off at the other Costa above Sandersons but there wee no seats available. The lady at the counter advised us to try the main shop at the other end of the car park. There was a bit of a queue when we went in, but they quickly cleared it. Drinks were made as requested and food was fine. Staff polite and friendly despite being busy. Toilets were clean and tidy.

Unfortunately, this branch isn't very wheelchair friendly, although with a bit of shunting a d asking people if they didn't mind getting up while I got by, I did make it in. Getting out seemed a lot easier.

Just like every other Costa. You know exactly what you will get. Very consistent. My only niggle is the floor was scruffy and littered with food debris. Other than that......

Pretty busy during the weekends

This particular Costa is great, always friendly staff and always fast service. Never had a bad experience, i would recommend.

STAFF WERE GREAT AND SMILEY YOUNG LAD WAS BUZZING AROUND CLEANING UP AND WIPING THE TABLES FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMERS IT WAS BUISY AND I LIKED THE PLACE VERY MUCH, MAY I SAY THE COFFEE WAS A TAD TOO STRONG FOR ME BUT THAT IS NOT A CRITICISM I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR A LIGHT COFFEE OR ONE SHOT AS SOME MIGHT SAY BUT ON THE WHOLE IT'S A GREAT PLACE WELL DONE STAFF.

Just had a cappuccino, very nice, but let down by being dirty and messy. Understand at end of busy day but really affects the experience and I'm a fan of Costa.

Visited today with friends, the person working (Eloise) had a horrible attitude! She left us waiting at the till for at least 5 minutes without even acknowledging us and then proceeded to complain when we ordered frappes, the cream ran out and she quite literally threw it across the back bar and then basically dropped our drinks in front of us all while complaining to her colleague.

Nice cosy Costa. Great for a nice drink if you are shopping, if for meeting friends. Plenty of parking.

Great coffe and friendly atmosphere.

We only go here because our daughter, for some strange reason, likes it. Personally, I think it's on a par with a "pig - swill" factory judging by the coffee! Why do females seem to love this place? It has no false-ceiling to keep the heat in and save on their fuel bills. Until recently (Dec22) many of the seats looked as if they had been peed on by some bygone occupant and the tables were, in the main, in a filthy condition and many need a revamp! My wife and I go in loads of Costa's and very, very few are as poorly kept as this Costa's. Went in again today - still no change. Those giving this place 5* must lead a very sheltered life. Stocksbridge and Penistone is their world. Glad I got out of it many years ago.

I gave it a 5 star, even though there was a small issue with my Panini. I had a bacon and brie panini (last one on the shelf). The food was delivered, however it wasn't warmed through properly some of the bacon and brie was still cold. I returned to the till and explained that it wasn't warmed through properly, I was asked to get a replacement I mentioned that that was the last one, I declined any other sandwich they had as I wasn't overly keen on what they had. Without hesitation they refunded me the cost. I sat down to drink my latte when a server came over and handed me a shortbread cake and apologized for the issue with the panini. It was totally unexpected and gratefully accepted.

The staff are lovely and givevgreat service however ... we had to have takeaway cups, they didn't have any plates and the place was dirty. I do like it there but it needs some support.

Always a mixed bag at a Costa, never one the same! Food ok but not a vast choice even though it was early morning, didn't seem the cleanest of places and the toilets were terrible, not regularly inspected and wet everywhere! Food delivered quickly but not the friendliest of receptions considering the price of things! Got busy quickly and many struggling to find a seat, some tables not cleared quickly, lots sat outside even you it was freezing! Would I go again....not without improvement as there are other coffee shops on site so more to choose from. Big fan of Costa myself, though you would not think so my this review, but I say it as I find, and this occasion (may have been that particular day) , was falling short of the usual Costa experience I have. Disappointed on this occasion.

I call in for breakfast before I get on the M1. Staff are super friendly and the service is excellent. I always find it well kept and clean. The breakfast deal is also excellent value

Love this Costa always clean and well presented. They didn't have M&S sausage rolls which was disappointing as they were delish!! Enjoyed the visit with my daughter and grandchildren, staff were really helpful!

Staff need to be abit more friendly can seem cold and robotic

The cafe was very dirty, quite shocked how stained the chairs were and the floor needed a brush and a mop.

Ive been using this costa since it opened, and since it reopen after covid ive never seen it as dirty. Plus some of the new staff extremely rude and very unprofessional. Will think twice before coming again.

I think this Costa is in need of some tlc, and prey that you don't need the toilet, worst kept toilets I have ever seen.

Outside seating which is undercover and facing the sunshine, if it isn't cloudy.

Staff were very busy gossing till they realised we were there. There attitudes were snooty and one of them kept hideing to check her phone. Honestly didn’t feel very comfortable here as I felt I was been judged by the cashiers. When it came to COVID rules enforcement they were been to assertive and were making elderly run around doing things as they said “they weren’t allowed to assist”.

Quality Coffee at a very reasonable cost in a generous large size. Great to see they're doing takeaway. The shop itself is quite spacious. It would be much more welcome if they had better tables with suited chairs instead of the oversized tables that are uncomfortable to sit at which is why i give 4 stars instead of 5.

We met our friends here first time visit for all of us. We called in for coffee it was very well organised for social distancing and the staff very nice.The coffee was usual Costa quality served with a smile.We enjoyed it so much we called in again after our walk round the shops.

I can't really write a long review on the Costa Coffee at Fox Valley in Stocksbridge only to say that it is a good standard and one of the better Costa's that I've visited. The staff are good and pleasant and the cafe is a good peaceful atmosphere. Happy to keep visiting.

In a lovely shopping centre we'd never been to before. Friendly staff, yummy cake and delicious coffee. We hope to go again!
