Decent food for the price you pay, they have some good offers on and they offer blue light discount. I would say 1 of the better chain pubs for food in the area.

Excellent food everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices from the new menu . Our food and drinks were served by Lauren in a professional but very friendly manner and the food took around 30 minutes to arrive which was fine . All in all a great visit to the White Rose to which we shall be returning !!.

Great food and lovely polite and helpful service, particularly from Callum. Good clean and comfortable environment to enjoy a Friday night meal and avoid the washing up! Compliments to the kitchen staff, including Connor, Josh and Jay for a delicious meal served in good time. A recommended place to come back to for consistently good service.

Came here for a friends 60th birthday. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef😁will definitely call in again. The only thing that bothered all of our group was the music😖 when ordering food & drinks you had to shout at the bar staff. Even the people at the front of the bar were having to shout to their friends. No one was dancing, just seemed so pointless having it that loud. Everything else was great though, thoroughly recommend 👌

Callum served me at the bar and I had my niece who doesn't like people he was friendly and spoke to her and she laughed because he was friendly and funny thank you for making us feel welcome.

Great pub, staff are very friendly. Wenna, Amy & Daisy are very friendly & helpful. Wenna was our waitress, nothing was too much trouble for her. We obviously didn't have any dealings with the chef's but the food was really nice, top marks to them. We'll definitely be visiting the White Rose in Handsworth again.

Booked a 30+ group family celebration months in advance due to previous event experience and thought I’d receive the same. Unfortunately greatly disappointed, we were squeezed into the very tiny side room definitely not adequate for the numbers no one could move or communicate with each other freely, like sardines. Buffet was not value for the amount of money charged. My family spending at the bar and buffet cost was substantial, but didn’t feel we received value for cost .Did not receive what was promised on booking Spoiled the whole family experience .

We were at Sheffield to attend an experience day at a farm and stopped at a nearby hotel. We looked for pubs nearby and this pub was listed, we've used Sizzling pubs before so we knew it would be OK. When we walked in, we were greeted, we quickly found an empty table. I was using Dining out club vouchers and couldn't do this online at our table so we had to order at the till. We were greeted quickly and our order was taken. The staff were so patient when accepting £50 worth of vouchers in £10 increments. Out order was verified and we had been told there was an hour wait on food. To our surprise, about 20 minutes later our food was brought to the table. We had a member of staff check everything was OK. The food was great, up to standard. When we finished, the staff member brought out our desserts. Lovely experience and would definitely visit here again. Staff members that were there that we caught name of were Amy, Amelia, Daisy, Kat and Josh. Keep up the good work.

Rough pub full of loud drunken yobs . Show table decided what we wanted to order then to be told it would be at least an hour and half for food . Obviously we left

We went for lunch today at the white Rose. We saw lots of notices about registering your vehicle reg plate. There was a screen inside to input my car reg and meant we didn’t incur any parking costs. we had a lovely meal, didn’t realise with half term the kids meal was just £1 and a wonderful surprise. We were told from the outset the time food was taking and we were happy to wait. When the food came it was freshly cooked and we all agreed it was delicious, the portion size were very good and no one wanted pudding afterwards. Thank you to Kat the chef as we enjoyed the food and left very satisfied. The service from Jay throughout our time there was fantastic. Thank you. We will be back again.

Staff are really really good. Service is first rate. The food is very nice, well what we had was anyway, The burger was good and the Hunter's chicken can be recommended. Not really bothered about the Christmas woo woo drink cocktail thing our lass made me taste but the beer is pretty good. Happy Christmas

Ordered Mac and cheese and the portion was tiny, it came in a bowl that looked as though it was supposed to be a side dish not a main. Next time I will order Mac and cheese and garlic bread as sides as it works out cheaper and will probably be the same size portion.

Have always had nice meals here, you always get a decent amount for the price. The steak is always cooked perfectly, the peppercorn sauce is just the best. My only complaint, and this has happened a few times over the month, there's been some gathering between 11am and 1pm with most tables reserved. We visited the other day only to walk in and out as was too busy and not a nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Wish they would communicate this on their Facebook page a bit better when someone hires it out.

We booked a table for 4, after arriving it took 15 minutes to be seen, only to be told there was a one & half hour waiting time for food, no genuine apology, just a lame excuse, walked out, we'll not be bothering again....

Visited for an after work meal and were all massively impressed. The service from Lauren & Adele was amazing. Nothing was too much for them and they always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was so tasty thanks to Jay the chef. One of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time. We all will be back and we have already recommend to friends and family :)

We went as a group of 11 to celebrate my grandson's 7th birthday. The table had been reserved for us, and we were made so welcome, as always. The food was really tasty, thank you Jay and Josh, and at a good price. Lowenna and Adele were really attentive during our visit.

Came here with friends for food, great service from louena always had a smile and was super friendly with a great sense of humour. She still made time for us despite being super busy with other jobs. Food was great too 100% recommend.

We recently hosted a Singles Open Mic and Mingle event at the White Rose and it was a resounding success! The pub itself provided a fantastic atmosphere – warm, welcoming, and perfect for our event. Joe, the manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He was very accommodating with our setup, ensuring we had everything we needed, and even went the extra mile to make sure our guests felt comfortable. The feedback from our attendees was overwhelmingly positive. We also appreciated the ample parking available for our guests. The pub itself has nice decor that added to the overall ambiance of the event. We were also impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the other staff members who were on duty. We highly recommend the White Rose. Thank you, Joe, and the entire team at the White Rose!

Excellent service from caiium and Lorena food fresh and well presented , just one minus point the steaks could have been a bit warmer although cooked perfectly by kat and josh 👍

We are always happy with the White Rose and tonight they were really great. Daisy and Callum were great behind the bar and always give good service, are polite and good with our kids. We had some of the festive meals for which were delicious thanks to Jay and Kat, all of the family enjoyed so thank you!

Had the large Indian platter, consisting of a bowl of chicken tikka masala,rice,a bowl of fresh salad,rice,small nan,two samosa & a crispy poppadom cooked perfectly by chef Jay & served by the our nice waitress Kelly, good food & service at a decent price,will return.

on a very busy evening but food arrived within 30 mins which is what the guy said after we had ordered, which wasn’t bad considering how busy it was. But WOW the portions were huge! I think there were only a couple who managed empty plates. A really comfy pub, would deffo recommend. Susan ( hunters chicken and choose curly fries!)

Won’t be going again after I got a parking ticket for parking in the car park. I met my dad for lunch like I usually do then got a ticket in the post tried to appeal it but it got declined. It’s shocking,I’m a paying customer. Absolutely ridiculous.

Forever grateful to The White Rose Pub, who kindly let me hold my Dad's send off there. We had the bronze buffet provided by White Rose which many people commented they really enjoyed. It wasn't dry and tastless like some buffets can be. They also let us use their TV's to put photos on of my dad on the screen which was a really nice touch, and there was a brilliant jukebox which had every song we needed. Management & staff were all really helpful throughout, which I was glad for because with this type of event, the atmosphere of the team makes all the difference. I would definately reccommend White Rose to eat/drink in, but also for special occasions & private functions. Thank you so much for being the perfect venue for such an important day. X

Busy while we were there, informed by staff that we would have to wait around 1/2 hour, staff, Lauren, was kept busy delivering meals and collecting plates etc, but kept us informed and was very helpful and pleasant
