Excellent food, really good service, good atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff. This place deserves to be really busy

We had breakfast twice and a lunch here, it's so good. Great service, awesome range of food. Recommend the smoothies. Fantastic French toast. Worth booking ahead as it gets busy, and rightly so. Lots of nice gifty items to buy as well.

Have been coming here for over a year and their Panang curry is the best! Portion sizes are generous for price - we always have enough leftover for a good size meal the day following. Staff is friendly too

We were early and staff were very accommodating. Food is good and there was a large selection on the daily specials board. Service was friendly and not intrusive.

Tucked away just off the High Street, this is an intriguing old religious building that has been transformed into a friendly restaurant with various levels. On a quiet midweek lunchtime, we were offered a varied and interesting menu which led to each one of our party of five choosing a different main course. All plates were cleared! We sampled two of the desserts between us and the beautifully presented home made ice creams were outstanding both in quality and variety. The other offerings were beautifully presented and again all plates were cleared. In future this will be our go to destination for meals in Lymington.

I had breakfast here and it was freshest breakfast i ever had when staying in hotel. The breakfast was grilled and so light and i love the way resturant kept filling up the food so it was always fresh. I must give a shout out to all the staff as they are amazing they are friendly including, Chloe stacy Sophie, Chelsea ionona Thank you ladies i told mum the next time we in thr grays area we will stay in rainham. Came for the Christmas menu on Thursday 12th December. The meal was fine but there was no Christmas atmosphere no background music or crackers on the table to make our visit more memorable.

If I could post zero stars I would. The managers attitude is disgusting. Obviously an issue with the soft drinks as all came out flat but to tell us that we are all wrong...

Food is ok Customer service is poor, the loud chit chat between the lady that owns the place and the staff makes for a factory canteen atmosphere. Shame as the setting is lovely.

Lovely place Very relaxed. All the team we experienced were efficient and really friendly Could take the dog in which was ace I have brill fish and chips and others had a great burger and also a hanging chicken skewer thing Really nice little place. Would go again

I rang up just about 5 pm to book a table for 7 30 , very pleasant on the fone. I went with a good friend. From when we walked in till we left , the staff were polite , friendly. When we ordered our meals , the appitiser came out with in 10 minutes, and just as we had finished that the starters came out , wen we finished them we had to wait about 15 minutes for our mains as they were freshly cooked . Well worth a revisit sometimes in the future

Love the food in Hartfields, always very fresh and tasty. However, it is on the expensive side! But I don't think we will be returning, when paying the bill on the card machine it asked if we wanted to pay a tip, minimum of 10% I can't remember the maximum, I was a too shocked to look. I don't mind paying a tip but I hate to feel obliged!

A great friendly atmosphere with great beer and excellent food. Fish and chips were incredible. A proper proper pub!!! Beautiful surroundings.

Every morsel was delicious. This is our 2nd visit to Riverford and it didn’t disappoint. Even the most humble of vegetables are lifted to new heights of tastiness. We loved every plate, just soooo good.
