Very interesting. The talks are good. Be aware though that it's not fixed so does move when boats go by so I had a bit of motion sickness. As its a ship it has lots of very narrow and steep stairs which you have to go down backwards so not very disabled or pram friendly but it was a built as a serving ship not tourist attraction so to be expected. Not much the Imperial Museum can do about that. Just a bit of advice as it's quite expensive to visit, and if you can't see it all or get claustrophobia, you may not get the best out of the visit. Aside from that, it's worth a visit. Great views of the Thames as well.

I would have loved to have actually got onto HMS Belfast, but on entering the ticket office I was, for some unknown reason, treated with suspicion by the security guard who stood in the doorway. Jokingly I said 'do you want to search me?'. The security guard said no but just stared and glared suspiciously at me. Im a middle-aged man who just wanted to step on to The Belfast! I was quoted £29 for a ticket by the tetchy guy with glasses (picking up his cue from the staring security guard) but that is the price including donation. I declined. I'm a tour guide in London. Suspicion should not be the main mood when you try and visit such an iconic ship.

We came on a weekday and got here when it opened. We didn’t have to wait and we got straight in, this is the best time to visit as the ship isn’t like a cattle market. They do discounts for concessions and it took us around 2hrs to get round the while ship and that includes listening to the audio guide at every prompt. There is enough toilets on board and there is even a cafe and seating area on board. It’s quite easy to lose your bearings while walking around but there is plenty of volunteers who are happy to assist. I throughly enjoyed myself and would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in history.

You need to be aware there is a lot of steep steps to access certain areas, one recommendation I can think of, would be to copy the Churchill war rooms method of adding numbers on the route with the audio guide so you can ensure you cover all areas, it’s a little bit random and you can come away thinking you’ve missed something, however, on saying that , it doesn’t detract that this is well worth a visit

Coolest “museum” that I’ve visited in London. Price might seem high but the virtual tour was very thorough and explained which hatches or ladders to climb. In the morning there were some senior museum staff that were eager to tell us amazing stories and this was the best thing about it. I’ve noticed that there are talks organised but couldn’t follow any of them. We hopped on the Belfast at 11:30 and completed our visit at 15:00 so there is definately a lot of stuff to see. The lower decks especially the boiler room were extremely cool, don’t skip them. Some equipment is still partially functional like the short range gunsight-calculators on the deck. The rearmost turret has a simulated shooting drill which is also extra cool. I hope they expand the walkable areas on the lower decks even if there is “nothing to see” in the warehouses.

The visit to the ship was a discovery. We went for my nephew without much desire and in the end it was wonderful. The ticket includes an audio guide and with videos (like a smartphone) you can tour the entire ship listening to the History and what was in each room or area of the ship listening to like the kitchen. The cabins. The area where the Morse code was broadcast, the artillery area and the kitchen. Where they kept the potatoes etc. It's very pretty. Lots of history. You can travel by boat in an hour and a half. But go to the restaurant which is very cozy and you can have hot chocolate (we went in winter and it was very cold). Our visit to London was very good in part because of getting to know this museum ship. I highly recommend it. I bought the entrance tickets two days before online. The shop is nice and not expensive to take you to a paper boat for £1 or a mug for £10. There are t-shirts. Keychains and even a set of Morse code. We turned up on a Saturday in January. No wait at all. We bought guide book and took the audio tour. The ship is fascinating, built before ww2 but overhauled after it. The things that strike you is how compressed the living and working spaces are. Entering the boiler and engine room when they were working must have been the stuff of nightmares. The armorer box (all or nothing) is most clearly seen and understood here. The guns are not massive, 6 inch, but the turrets and barbettes allow understanding of how it worked. As you go through the ship, it’s hard to imagine being here in freezing artic seas, pitching around and under attack. The captain’s and admiral’s cabins had tiny little electric fires. Others probably relied on water heat from engine. It is a shame the uk never preserved a genuine dreadnought battleship, this is as good as it gets and well worth it.

We had thought it was a tad expensive to visit HMS Belfast, but picked up on the TFL 2 for 1 offer, so we decided to give it a visit - after many times walking past! We got some audio guides, which I inevitably knew I would be carrying for the kids by the end...! We did sort of follow the guide, and the kids did give me a few nuggets of information as we walked about. We made sure we got a picture at the back of the boat with the bridge in the background before we forgot! I personally found it all very interesting, for the kids it was a bit more mixed. One of them git a bit scared when we went further down in to the ship and my son was looking forward to the world of warships area but most of the machines were either not working or broken. My daughter on the other hand really enjoyed it - thought it was fun going up and down the ladders and walking through the kitchen etc! The boat does take a lot longer to get round than you expect, and actually was quite easy to get lost in (it happened to us more than once!) If the kids had the patience we may have gone for one of the talks they advertised over the tannoy, if we had - we may have been there even longer!

Surprisingly a very informative and in-depth look at life on board a WW2 warship. Good explanations and lots to see. It's a fairly big ship, so fair amount of climbing (yes you read right). One for the military buffs.

Was great fun doing the tour of HMS Belfast. You get an immediate appreciation of the history and scale of the ship the moment you enter. It feels like the entire ship is run like a scaled down village with everyone playing their part. The ship comes with its own native wildlife in the form of a few cheeky mice which lighten up the mess hall and added a sense of jovial ness to the cafe area watching them jump around. All in all highly recommended and a great way to pass an hour or two.

The interior of the Borough Market was very nice, a marketplace where you can find delicious and quite a variety of foods.

What a lovely visit to this establishment today. My pal and I, had a lovely breakfast with coffee. The place was packed at 8.30am on a Sunday, but we managed to get a table for 2. We are both from the manor, even though I moved down to Bournemouth 23 years ago, it still feels like home. We couldn’t eat all of the breakfast, as there was so much of it. Lovely service also, and Austin the owner is a diamond. We shall be back soon. Thank you
