We were looking for this place missing it three times with GPS and were not able to find it. After 25min of search one guy told us that this place “is gone”...

Went with my boyfriend and loved it !! It’s a small plane but very cosy and the food is food and affordable!

a very nutritious, tasty breakfast and not expensive price for it. good service, but cafe is so small!

Tragedy that this perfect little breakfast place should go this way. Always packed and delightful. Just hope this unmissable pit stop hasn’t been driven out by increases in business rates and rent!

When I visit London I always go to My Tea Shop, its kind of a tradition at this point, the prices are so affordable, the dishes are so large, the beans are cooked to perfection, this is is a gem.

Encontré este lugar cuando llegué fuera de la estación de tren en el puente de Londres. La estación, que emocionado a la izquierda y encontramos este lugar. Me encantó! Es un negocio pequeño y es muy pintoresco. El dueño es realmente el mejor chico. Me ayudó a entender la ciudad un poco, como era mi primera vez allí. La comida era buena. Desperate for breakfast, spied this tiny independent squeezed into a small arch under London Bridge train station. Only ten seats, really a take-away, but warm and snug, lovely atmosphere. Great coffee and bacon sandwich.

I truly think this place is not that bad but it’s not that good so basically it became a bit overrated. The coffee is good and sandwiches are not bad. I love the atmosphere they try to create with all those positive messages around you but that’s pretty much everything. It’s as ok as any other place, just maybe a bit overpriced for what they actually offer.

i'd come here again just for the coffee if nothing else... both my wife and i agreed that it was superb coffee, hers a cappuccino ("tasted like coffee instead of milk" i.e. good shot of espresso at the base) and mine a double-espresso (strong but not too bitter).we both had a small-ish meal, mine a chicken strips and chips, hers an omlette with double-bacon, with an additional side of chips; total price £16.80... excellent value for money, very professional service, certainly not what you might expect from a "hole-in-the-wall" type establishment.only 8 covers (at a squeeze), so not suitable for a large group, although they look well equipped to cater to the takeaway crowd as well...

Read the reviews on trip advisor as I wanted to take some guests who were visiting the UK for the first time for a full English. This place is simply amazing, great friendly service, good quality ingredients, great coffee and very reasonably priced. I have been eating the odd cooked breakfast for years and I have to say that this is the best to date. What a gem of a place, will definitely be going back.

Tolle Lage, super Service! Leider kann man nicht mit Mastercard zahlen, aber ein ATM ist gleich um die Ecke! Es gibt nur 2 Tische, aber der Service war so nett und das Essen so lecker, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen würden!!

Haben dieses Lokal aufgrund der Bewertungen hier ausgesucht. Und es war einfach nur lecker! Mehr gibt es hierzu einfach nicht zu sagen. Wer einen der zehn Plätze (sechs innen) ergattern will muss etwas Glück haben. Das Essen ist das warten allerdings wert.

I am a bit of a coffee snob and was attracted to the itty bitty cafe that had a sign in its window saying that it sold Ethiopian coffee. Curious, I went in and tried some...and was instantly hooked. It's actually a blend of Ethiopian, Ivory Coast and something else (Columbian?) and very very good. After drinking coffee, I bought a bag of the same coffee as roasted beans (Doppio Coffee brand) and wish I had bought 2 bags at the rate I've been consuming it. I've not tried the food, but will definitely go back to buy more coffee beans!

This is a cosy little place for a traditional breakfast fry up near London Bridge. There isn't is much choice on the menu as there used to be, and they have removed some seating, but if you want your basic sausage, bacon and eggs, then you'll be happy.

It was bit hard to find this place as the google maps wasnt showing it correctly. Finally, when we found it we were impressed. The place is very tiny but cozy. We were lucky and when we came there was one free table for us. There are just 4 tables so it happens that people have to wait a bit. We both ordered omelletes with cheese and ham just for 5 GBP one!! The omellete was really tasty so were the toasts with jam that we ordered as well. The prices are really really nice considering to be in London :)

Came across this little gem more or less accidentally. It is a tiny and tidy place at London Bridge Station with 4 seats inside and a handful of tables outside. Despite quite some people in the queue, Ilir took his time to kindly explain all the breakfast options. And there are some... Food was served pretty quickly but without any hectic. The quality of my sons and my Option 1 and 2 was just awesome. Fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. Although there was a steady flow of hungry people, we never had the impression we should leave immediately after finishing (one of) the best english breakfasts we ever enjoyed.To me, this is the one breakfast spot to go to! Thank you for a lovely start of our London visit!

This place is tiny and definitely not big enough to swing the proverbial cat, however the food and coffee is good and the owner is very welcoming and friendly. There is just about room to seat 7 or 8 people inside and a few chairs outside. Clean and tidy and despite not looking great from outside give it a try as it deserves patronage.

How on earth does this place have such a high ranking? A fry-up (english breakfast) is my favourite meal, and i travel far and wide to find England's finest. Usually trip advisor pulls through but this was an embarrassment. No grilled vegetables (tomato and mushrooms), hash browns, and no black pudding even as OPTIONS on the menu. That is NOT an english breakfast. On top of that, the egg was badly cooked (how?!)I paid £8 for one egg, two strips of bacon, beans and chips. Not even toast included; when i asked for additonal bread, it took them 10 minutes to bring it out! Very uncomfortable seating as well.All round a horrible experience and ridiculously overpriced. I want my english breakfast messy, but this was just horrible. For a REAL breakfast, head north of london bridge and try POLO bar or Le Jardin, both near liverpool street. Avoid this place at all costs.

Popped in here for a quick drink before visit to The Shard. It is tiny, few seats inside and out. Good coffee and great sandwiches - egg sandwiches looked fab. Very friendly and looks like they have a regular clientele! So nice to stop there instead of a large coffee chain!

Walk out of the tube turn left and you will see the sign which says they have Ethiopian Coffee. Its fabulous.The smell of breakfast was lovely.

Friends and i were nearby the Shard this morning and wanted to stop somewhere for a coffee, then entering this little café we discovered the various English breakfasts suggested on their card (written on the wall with a few pictures) we decided to go for a full english breakfast with toast and a supplement for an omelette, believe us or not but it was by far one of my very best english breakfast this week, though i stayed in a few fancy hotels these previous days ... I highly recommend this tiny place 1 for the quality of the breakfast, then for the kindness of its staff !

Il locale è piccolissimo ma molto carino e pieno di affissioni alle pareti con detti e proverbi sul senso della vita, molto allegri e positivi. Il proprietario è dolcissimo molto simpatico e ospitale, pronto ad aiutarti per farti stare bene. Abbiamo mangiato la tipica colazione inglese ed era veramente buona. After years of rushing out of LB station crossing the road for the bus I have stood looking at My Tea shop and saying I must go in there one of these days, Today was the day I went in there Only a double bacon butty and a large chunk of carrot cake it was superb I saw the breakfast coming out and it looked excellent bacon excellent great white bread munch my way through it up Tooley street breakfast tomorrow what have I been missing

Erg klein maar des te leuker. Hier kan je een goed full English krijgen met een leuke sfeer. 2 tafels binnen en 2 tafels buiten. Niet groot dus, maar wel erg leuk. Absoluut de moeite waard

We used to call here regularly on our trips to relatives in Kent the breakfast was the best around but it changed to a regular takeaway cafe no seating or anything just stuff in a roll or bap.and plastic tea BUT we went there on the off chance the other day and it was nearly back to its former glory though the breakfast was not quite as good as it used to be and the seating was less (not that it had a lot anyway)they must have had a change of heart after relizing there custom had dropped

We've been in London for 1 week, and we had two breakfast at My Tea Shop, since it was really good. The menus are not expensive (about 8£) and really copious ! The team is really nice, and on our last day, we had the opportunity to talk a little bit with the owners. They told us about the history of the restaurant, it was really pleasant. Since we are from France, they even gave us some tea bags, because we told them how much we liked their tea :) A great experience, and good luck to you ! We came as a group of 6 for breakfast. We expected to be in a bigger place but we managed to fit in. It is very small but the food is good, the staff (especially the front of house lady) is very friendly, warm & kind. They are willing to make arrangements for you & your kids to suit your needs. I will definitely come back whenever in London.

Il locale è molto piccolo con due tavolini da due persone e uno da quattro ma il profumo che si sente nell'aria è davvero invitante!! Le aspettative vengono soddisfatte nel momento in cui ci viene servita la colazione! Salsicce e Bacon molto saporite e in generale degli ottimi piatti! Sicuramente da provare per gustare una tipica colazione inglese!

I was lucky enough to get a seat in this little cafe to have breakfast. The tea was served in a mug and with a spoon for me to fish out my own tea bag. I like this as cafes hardly ever get the strength just right. My breakfast looked exactly like the picture on the wall, that must be a first in any cafe. It was all cooked well and tasty. Served with toast on a separate plate so it was my choice to mix with breakfast or not. I enjoyed my breakfast and would return here but at nearly a tenner, probably not every week.

I've stopped here many times on the way to the London Bridge Hospital. Lovely bacon sandwich, nice coffee and friendly, speedy service. A tiny place with big attitude. I love it!

It was our most loved London all day breakfast. Many very happy sated times over several years. Mugs of tea. Warm, simple, packed in like sardines and with efficient friendly service and easy old curtesy from the staff. Then earlier this year all changed to swing towards a coffee bias, a bigger galley area and an emphasis on takeaway drinks and breakfast combinations in a roll or bap. Half the seating was removed, compulsory steel tables appeared out on the pavement and the character and appeal seemed to have gone forever. On Sunday we tried to recapture or tweak the old times. Mid morning it was very quiet. There was space at the last remaining bench seat and table inside. There were pictures of breakfast 'options' up on the wall. Two of us went for the top standard which they were prepared to serve on plates. Not bad although one went back for extra cooking of fried eggs that were still running with uncooked white. I went for a chunky sandwich but despite a polite but weird exchange about whether it would be real butter or spread I was assured it would be the former I was served with bread smeared thickly with the palest white spread which when I paid later had obviously come from an open half gallon tub on prep bench. I fear I am unable to be objective because this place was such an iconic formula and favourite. It is warm, clean, polite but I wonder whether the updating and rejigging has been done with any feel for what had previously given it such a loyal almost cult appeal.

Süsses kleines Tee & Kaffee Haus. Beim eintreten ist man gleich an der Theke. Es hat zwei kleine Tischchen drinnen und auch draussen Sitzplätze. Verschiedene Kaffee Arten sind erhältlich. Ebenso das traditionelle Frühstück in diversen Varianten. Wir hatten ein Speck & Ei Sandwich und Tee. Das Sandwich war sehr schmackhaft und lecker. Ein echter Geheimtipp und falls nicht in der Gegend, einen Ausflug Wert. Das Lokal ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt.

Been coming here for years. Tiny little place embedded in the wall by London Bridge station, serving enormous platefuls of cheerful, carb-heavy, tasty, cheap cafe fare. There can't be too many places like this left in our boring homogenous chain-infested city centre so this place needs to be treasured.Well recommended.

Saw a small cafe tucked under the arches by London Bridge Station, was feeling a tad peckish, so enticed by the wafting aroma of fresh bacon, I was in. Never have I been so happy with my choice, two door step sandwiches, one sausage, the other bacon, with an excellent mug of tea. The bread was fresh, thick and light, the fillings generous and tasty.Best of all, they do a take away too.See you next time, and there will be a few of those.

The sort of cafe you would walk past, as it's so small facing onto one of the busiest roads in London, next to London Bridge and The Shard. Our mission was to find a quaint restaurant for a traditional English breakfast. We checked trip advisor and found My Tea Shop, which was not too far from our hotel. This place is wonderful, small, quaint, traditional English atmosphere, food excellent staff welcoming and wonderful! Yes, had the traditional English breakfast, fast service, hot, eggs to perfection and Cumberland sausages grilled to perfection! Would I return, yes!

Last month, when we were in London, we booked ourselves for the Muggle your, a walking tour with the meeting point near the entrance of the London Bridge Tube Station. We were a little short of time and wanted to grab a quick lunch before the tour. Found We found My Tea and Coffee Shop just outside the station and decided to grab lunch there. Among us, we had hotdogs and fish and chips. My son was all praises for his fish and chips and said that the one he had in Windsor, which cost a lot more, but was no where as good as this. I thought the hotdogs were good too. Not much sitting capacity here with a table or 2 indoors. They have 2 tables outside along the sidewalk and we managed to take one.

I should start by saying that I used to visit this cafe whenever I was in London Bridge. It was one of the few quality greasy-spoons in the area with amazing, friendly staff.Now it appears to have been taken over and refitted. The seating area is gone are the lovely staff (who used to remember my usual order). Reduced seating area so really just for take-away orders now.Considering the variety of other, better take away providers nearby (and Borough Market just down the road), I for one will not bother with this place anymore.

My tea shop provided exactly what we needed, a quick tasty simple breakfast after 11.00 am. Although the menu was all sandwiches the staff were good to provide me with my egg and bacon on a plate (gluten intolerant). Wish we'd found this earlier as finding breakfast food in London after a lie in is difficult

I have reviewed this place before and there was only praise for the breakfast and price it is a tiny cafe and the quality of breakfast was awesome lovely good size plate, and a hot mug of tea just great BUT we went in on sat (21st) and what a difference a,they had totally changed the eating space had been drastically reduced whilst the cooking area had been increased and now they do.not do breakfast at all only sandwiches but you can have either a bacon,sausage or egg but not plated Evan though they cook the items individually and now burgers and a cup of tea in a takaway cup not impressed at all now very poor will not go here again which is a shame

Yesterday hubby and I took the train into London to visit the sights. We walked and walked and walked and we had walked so much we decided it was coffee time! We looked across the road and saw this little shop and I do really mean little! Hubby had a flat white and I had a macchiato, it was superb. We have been in the UK 11 days and I have taken to drinking tea as the coffees I have had have been terrible. Thought I'd try again here and I'm so glad I did! Thankyou and wish I could get my coffee here every day!!

This wonderful little cafe has had a bit of a refurbishment. Times change and needs must. This has in no way spoilt the fabulous, spirit lifting sense of the place. It's still got all the charm, characters, delightful friendly staff, first class sourced produce, just a few less tables and chairs. Coffee is a big deal now. La Marzocco for those in the know. It's effortlessly smooth and moorish. It's a special, gem of a place. You genuinely feel like you have walked into a tiny, intimate club with all the politeness and host affability of the Ritz.It feels like family and at times the owners gorgeous wife helps out and serves a devilishly good coffee. My 11 year old son adores the place and wanted to meet me there straight from school. I spent 3 hours there taking photos of the delicious food, seeing and hearing the warmth and authenticity of the staff towards the customers.These independent places are so rare now. Once they are gone they are lost forever. Go and seek it out yourself. It's seriously the real deal.

This tiny shop (2 tables inside and 2 outside) is across the street from the London Bridge Experience, so we popped in for a bite. It was a bit chilly to sit outside, so we were happy a table opened up. Fish and chips were piping hot and too much to finish. Coffee was excellent. The staff were extremely cordial and welcoming. Recommended.

They may have trimmed down their menu, but the ingredients are simple and great. The owner even had a chat with us. Great for bacon and egg rolls and coffee too!There are only four tables, and it isn't that crowded on weekends. Weekdays, I shaft that it is busier.

They now serve hot or cold sandwiches here as well as drinks. You can either eat in or takeaway. The bacon and egg sandwich however was very good.

A mi hija y mi nos gusta mucha el "English Breakfast". Somos vegetarianos y este plato tipico ingles nos viene genial. No fuimos a este sitio por las buenas criticas que tiene. El cirio esta muy original y nos gustaba mucho. La comida fue muy triste. No tenian las alubias. Y en vez de las alubias podiamos pedir otra cosa. Al final encontremos papas fritas, papas "rösti", un huevo frito y champiñones fritos en el plato. Sin las alubias fue una cosa triste y seco. No nos ha gustado nada.

Great food great service friendly staff and manager breakfasts are amazing lovely fresh ingredients rest of food is lovely aswell cheap for the area so always busy but worth the small wait

Es un sitio muy pequeño, pero acogedor. Fuimos a mediodía con la idea de comer. El precio es razonable y la comida está buena, pedimos un desayuno inglés completo y otro vegetariano, que incluían una taza de té y tostadas con mantequilla. Salimos contentos, volvería sin dudarlo.

Sitio pequeñito pero muy acogedor, con una comida típica inglesa (fish&ships, etc...)buenísima y muy rápidos al servir. Personal encantador y super atentos. A destacar el buen precio de todo lo q ofrecen. Si encuentras sitio, muy recomendable entrar y comer ahí.

Only got 4 tables but lots of take aways food is always lovely here black pudding is a must friendly staff ive put pics on of brekkie lovely if u near london bridge got there u wont be disappointed

Amigos por favor tienen que ir a visitar este pequeño lugar, aunque eso no le quita mérito al sabor y la calidad de la comida, el personal que lo atiende es muy amable y súper accesible, está en una excelente ubicación queda afuera del metro London Bridge!! El sabor de la comida es única.
