Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Landmark London in City of London, Westminster

We had a lovely birthday celebration there and we both loved it. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food and friendly service. Our waitress Elizabeta was extremely polite and professional. A beautiful experience for any special occasion

Beautiful surroundings and lovely staff. The food was good value for the set menu price - I have a feeling the à la carte menu might be top top quality. Really filling as well, we walked in and rolled out! Excellent wines, again very good prices for the location and the service. One of my favourite hotels in London, definitely recommend. Champagne bar upstairs is great too!

Our birthday dinner was amazing . Staff super polite, friendly and kind. We were served by Anth, very good job, everything was perfect from his side . On booking I mentioned few things that I would like , everything was done. Thank you for birthday surprise for my husband, cake and birthday song on piano, was so fantastic.

Setting and service by the servers was excellent. Food good. Only comment was the champagne bar and mirror bar were closed and this was not said when the booking was made as we wanted to sit for a drink first - champagne bar has a great view overlooking the Winter Garden Restaurant. Hosts slow to greet us at the entrance to the restaurant to seat us.

I wasn’t going to complain but as you asked for some feedback I thought it only fair to be honest. This was our second visit to The Winter Garden and sadly it was a little disappointing. We love the restaurant setting and it’s lovely to have a pre-dinner drink in champagne bar upstairs. The setting is stunning and I absolutely can not fault the service. Every staff member we interacted with were fabulous. The food sadly was the let down. We both really enjoyed the complimentary breads and the duck starter was five star, really delicious. I had the cod for main which was nice but my fiancé had the short rib and it was so bland, dry and slightly tough. He did like the mashed potatoes though. Dessert was very disappointing, I had the chocolate cremeux and it was dry and not very tasty. My partner had the baked Alaska and although it was very impressive to the eye it wasn’t to the taste. The service is outstanding the food just needs improving for us to return,

Overall a good experience although the starter took too long to arrive. The best part of the meal was the main course I had the roasted cod. Dessert was ok but no wow factor . However very good value for money

I booked the Winter Garden restaurant for a birthday surprise for my partner, it had that outdoor dining experience but indoors instead. Nice piano playing all night, wait staff were attentive too. Champagne cocktail was spot on, a great 3 course meal and 2 liquor coffees to finish.

The lobster is to die for, the waiter service is amazing. They have us a free happy birthday dessert as well

Excellent value with fantastic service and atmosphere

Nice service, busy restaurant in comparison to other times I’ve been but most likely due to the valentines weekend. Did not enjoy the starter but the main and dessert was very nice. Lovely ambience ans loved the live piano music. Would still recommend overall.

The food was horrible. I could not even finish my Caesar salad that me and my girlfriend got, bear in mind we are out for our anniversary dinner. At the beginning I was pressured into buying the bigger version of the Caesar salad and after many times telling my server that I’m not that hungry as we have eaten beforehand, he continued to maintain the upselling stance. The chicken was stale, dry and chargrilled to the point where there was actual char on it, the lettuce was drenched in sauce, in which it smelt like it was going off. Embarrassed, I didn’t want to let a server know, instead I wanted them to ask and check back on how the food was, seeing my plate full it was surprising that no one did. The scenery was beautiful and that will probably be the only thing I would come back for, whereas the food was really not it.

Lovely ambience calm and relaxed with live pianist playing. You can hear the conversation at your table but not everyone else’s. Food is excellent. We had a lovely Gavi but I did think the wine list small. Service with charm but not intrusive. Would recommend for couples or multi generational family celebrations.

Great meal and ambience and service. Being picky the wine list should say the year-would not have picked the first bottle had I known the year.

Fine dining is hard to do in London on a Monday. So the Landmark Hotel’s Winter Garden Restaurant was a revelation. Wonderful setting, good service and great food!

The service and food were very good, with one proviso: the fries were too heavily fried. I like chunky chips but fries are fine if lightly fried. But otherwise it was all very good. Excellent service.

The Winter garden restaurant is really lovely. It has a great ambience, staff are absolutely wonderful, a credit to the hotel. The set menu has a great choice & the food is outstanding. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a lovely lunch.

A great location for my annual birthday lunch with my elderly father. The Winter Garden feels special and the ambiance and visual aspect is stunning. We had a great time and already looking forward to next year. In terms of value, it's expensive when compared to similar lunches and venues that is a bit disappointing.

Excellent ambience, lots of wait staff. Good decor. I went on a Friday night and there was live piano music. I wouldn't say the food was excellent, it was average. Easy to get to by train as it is opposite the Marylebone train station.

A superb birthday lunch at the Atrium restaurant. Impeccable service, stunning food and elegant surroundings. Would request that they expand their vegetarian options but otherwise a lovely experience and will definitely be returning.

Lunchtime menu is a little bit limited, wine is ridiculously expensive, ambience is terrific

This was a 60th Birthday treat and I came with 2 more guests. Walked in a the vibe was soft and welcoming and the restaurant was a wow as we approached it. Very attentive staff, throughout our whole time there. Amazing food and I was thrilled with pastry they bought with a birthday candle, totally unexpected. We’re looking forward to going back.

The food is very good, delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is also very good. Unfortunately, the service is poor. My friend noted that she will be there to celebrate birthday, but before leaving, we did not hear the birthday song or the legendary small cake. The entire service was also very cold and disappointing

Moreover, the culinary offerings surpassed all expectations, while the overall atmosphere fostered an unparalleled sense of awe and delight.

The Winter Garden has always been our go to place for friends and entertaining. What happened when we dined there recently was laughable. It was like a catering school! We were given the breakfast menu when we asked for a wine menu. Our rolls were put on the wrong plates. The Prosecco was warm. The accompaniments were left on the side and forgotten and we had to ask for them. We were given two tiny scoops of butter for 6 people. The coffee arrived way before the desserts. The servers were friendly but obviously unprofessional. The only one who knew what was going on was the manageress who gave us English mustard when we were told there was none available. She was the only saving grace! Food wise, my Lobster Thermidor was delicious as were the short ribs. The calves liver was very salty. The bread rolls were cold and hard. We used to love going to the Winter Garden but will not recommend it until they can sort out their staff issues. The restaurant was practically empty and I now know the reason why judging from other diners’ comments. I wish I had read them before we went. A huge disappointment!

Food and venue was amazing, staff were lovely! Sulfikar was the staff member that looked after us the most. He always made sure we were okay for everything, poured us our drinks and was his manners were great! He is a fantastic photographer too as we loved the photos he took of us by the tree, he needs a promotion 😂 this is a place I will defo be coming back to!

Lovely setting, food was delicious and service very good, apart from having to give up the table just after 3pm for afternoon tea service (we did get somewhere nice to sit to enjoy our drinks and coffee, but not my idea of service when you are paying in excess of £400 for your meal and drinks). Wine was very good value for a top restaurant.

Lovely time felt rushed waited 30 mins for ice and wanted another bottle of champs but it never come may be they don’t need the money . But lovely place .

Amazing ambiance, the piano playing in the background, Christmas trees. This was my fav hotel in London, whenever I came to town I would always pop in. Not been here since covid times. Service was amazing, Shkil was polite, friendly and always helpful. Food was ok, I’ve had much better food here befoee. I had the salmon it was ok but nothing special. My friend had beef, it was tough. Food was a let down, maybe because it was busy.

It was my first Time. The staff was amazing. The best service I have ever been in any other place. Very good ambiance and the atmosphere was calm and Relaxing. All the experience was amazing. I would like to give an especial mention to the 2 members of the staff that they served the table. The best customer service that I have ever had.

Incredible ambience with amazing Christmas tree and live piano player. Well worth visiting for cocktails. Very relaxing. However I thought service could be improved with better trained staff and each course took a very long time to come out with food not spectacular in quality.

We have been going to the Winter Garden restaurant for a pre Christmas lunch for over 10 years and not once has it disappointed until our visit this year. You cannot beat the ambience of the restaurant. It’s truly stunning and there is always a lot going with wedding shoots, wedding breakfasts, the restaurant pianist and the opera singer during our lunch. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The pre lunch champagne included in the price was excellent as was our Côtes du Rhône which was also fairly priced having regard to the nature of the establishment. The big let down was the food. My starter of warm mushroom tart was only vaguely warm with the pastry tasting as though it had been cooked hours before and decidedly not pleasant. Can’t fault the amount of mushrooms. My wife’s goat cheese soufflé was also just warm. For the main I had turkey. It was a nouveau cuisine portion and again was barely warm and fairly tasteless? My wife had the short rib of beef which she said was delicious but again only warm at best. The vegetables that went with it were cold. My steam pudding of mandarin sponge contained two pieces of mandarin but at least it was reasonably warm. However the compote with it was too sharp and the advertised honey ice cream must have vapourised before it reached me. Not a sign of it. My wife’s Spiced plum opera was ok but not a lot of plum. Overall it was a big disappointment. Staff and ambience couldn’t be faulted but the food was just not good enough particularly for the price paid.

Had to wait over 20 mins for the waiter. One champagne glass was missing from the table. Waiter then came over with another glass and an empty champagne bottle in the other hand which was random. They were literally dismantling the Xmas tree, tons of branches on the floor, noisy workmen trying to fix something, dirty rags on the floor in the main area. It was shambles really and not the ambience we expected. Also totally not pram friendly, had to lift and lower pram over steps. The food was very lovely though. For the price I don’t think we’ll be back again which is a shame as we used to enjoy our time there.

I had the pre-Christmas set meal but the staff were unaware of what this included and they subsequently tried to charge me extra for items that were included and I never did receive the Petit Fours that should also have been included. The staff are very attentive but clearly weren't adequately briefed. An otherwise very pleasant experience was slightly tainted by the fact that I had to speak with the manager to resolve the matter as the waitress initially stated that the additional charges could not be removed even though it was clear on the menu they were included in the set price. It was resolved by the manager who was very apologetic but it shouldn't have occured in the first place.

Starter was lovely but after that food was really bad. Both mains and deserts not worth the price. Service was friendly but definitely overpriced for quality of food

Lovely venue and excellent pianist! Only real negative was that I emailed them re special request (for plain smoked salmon) and they said they hadn't received the message. But was quite surprised that they said there was no smoked salmon available at all. Really? In a 5* hotel in central London?

From start to finish it was shocking. Their excuse was they were very busy. One of our starters arrived there was a blue piece of plastic in the middle of it. The main meal came, two of them were cold. We have been to the Landmark so many times. I am not sure what happened but we won’t ever be going again.

Food has been consistently good, however, the service was appalling last night. Butter was dumped without the usual explanation of the types. Sauces for starters and main were dumped on the table without explanation. Waited ages for wine and when it came one glass was the wrong and server began to argue that was what was ordered. She finally reluctantly got the right one. We were offered more bread half way through our main course and not our starters, which would have been welcome. She brought our coats and again was insistent that one of the coats was ours ‘are you sure, it was with your coats’. As I said the food and the ambiance was as lovely as usual but the service was awful.

The backdrop was stunning and the ambience was exactly what we were looking for. The food was tasty but felt fairly expensive for what we were getting. I recommend it to anyone who wants a lunch with a wow factor that isn't on the top of a London Skyscraper.

Great location and good meeting place. Busy for coffee but good service. Lunch service was a bit slow - over 30 minutes from ordering to being served and one hour from first entering the restaurant.

Celebrated my 21st birthday at the winter garden, and honestly had the best time ever, the most beautiful setting, piano was playing the whole evening, food and desert was soo good, they even brought me a happy birthday desert which was on the house, service was great 10/10

The set(seasonal) menu is extremely good value and there was a good choice. My Jerusalem artichoke starter was delicious. Disappointed by the very casual dress of some diners and there were two people who seemed to be using the restaurant as an office, the phone calls made by the man were very annoying. This should not be allowed in a 5 star hotel restaurant. Very friendly staff with beautiful dresses. Would go again.

We chose this restaurant after watching The British Bake Off. 2 of the chefs from here won the competition and we had to see what the restaurant and food was all about. We booked up a table for our 1st wedding anniversary and we were so happy we did. The setting and venue is stunning, the waiters and waitresses were unbelievably professional and catered for all of our needs, and the food was second to none! The menu offers so much choice and all the food and drink is very well priced so all can enjoy the meal. It was such a great evening, the waitress brought out a little anniversary pudding for us at the end of our meal which was a delightful little touch. Highly recommend and we will be booking our anniversary meal here ever year from now on.

Ambience was just lovely. Went to The Champagne Bar prior to lunch in The Winter Garden. Great atmosphere, wonderful Customer Service. Service in The Winter Garden was tremendous. Loved the piano in the background and later it was actually played by a pianist - WOW! The food was delicious - all three courses. Drinks were flowing especially the champagne that was inclusive on the menu!! A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Anybody who hasn’t been there, book it now.

The perfect dining location for a special occasion. I booked dinner here as we were staying at The Landmark for my husbands 50th and it was the best choice I made. The food was delicious and the staff were delightful. The pianist was a wonderfully talented and even took the time to talk to my husband and I in his break. It was a truly special evening for us.
