You have to book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment or else you’ll just get turned away. They do say that sometimes people cancel, but I wouldn’t bet your chances. The garden is super nice, but we didn’t really eat there as it was pretty spenny. Otherwise, it was a good experience and the queue to get in wasn’t so bad.

Good views if you can manage to get one of the free entry tickets. These are not easy to get! Otherwise you can book a table at one of the exorbitant restaurants, where you can eat mediocre food for fine dining prices. Best value is breakfast at Darwins. The Sky Garden itself is nice enough, good views but busy and untidy from the uncleared tables of leftovers at the cafe. Worth a visit? There's probably just as good views elsewhere and better value.

Amazing experience at the Sky Garden! The view over London is absolutely magical. The lush indoor garden creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. Entry is free if you book in advance. For God's sake, it can't be said that the view from up there isn't beautiful, but the organization could definitely be better. If I have an entrance booked at 4 pm and can get in line MAXIMUM 15 minutes before, I can't wait outside in line for 45 minutes (from 3:45 to 4:30). You can't get up at 4:40 for an aperitif/snack and be told "we don't have any more food"😅. And then, we know that London is expensive, but paying €20 for three hot teas... really too much. In conclusion, if you're only spending 3 days in London, I would honestly avoid it as a stop because it's not that worth it. If you're spending more days, however, I would advise you to go earlier in the day, around or shortly after lunch in short.

He says, we arrived at 7pm in February, Aside from the weird security check, getting a table was fine because we booked ahead. It was dark, but the views over London were great, but spoiled by the balcony in the way, so any photos of the iconic shard building were spoiled. It's cold here, but heated seats! Provided they work 😕. Mine was nice and toasty. My partner's seat, not so much. The staff were great, but I don't think I'd rush to come back. It's ok, nice views, but a bit boring and the music wasn't too my taste. She says-I booked this and a bottle of champagne so £90 odd quid for the experience. You can walk in and you don't need to spend that much but I wanted it to be a real treat. It is chilly and I run hot (lady of a certain age) but you are aware of that when booking. His seat was lovely and toastie, mine was not. Staff were fab and helped take photos etc. Music awful...duff duff duff.....I think at 50 and 60 we brought the average age up quite a bit on a wednesday night. I wouldn't come back but I'm glad I came. Probably just go for the glass of fizz option next time and move on.

Despite having a reservation at 4:45pm, we had to wait in line for more than an hour in the cold. Once inside we decided to sit down and rest after standing for a long time and have a glass of wine to warm up. When we were going to El Mirador, a guy didn't let us go because they were closing even though we explained and begged him that we just wanted a quick photo and that we came from another continent so we could see him in a bad way and with little empathy he didn't let us go, something that didn't even take 30 seconds. To top it all off, once again wait in a long line to leave the building. Terrible experience, very rude. What a shame that they treat tourists like this, I hope something similar happens to no one.

One tip for visitors I would eat in the Italian restaurant next to it as when you go to the gardens you are already revered so you can skip the que. I wore my woolly hat for most of our stay. Drinks reasonable for central London but as I said earlier far too cold in winter months to be really fun.

• Without a doubt, the worst experience in London. Obviously apart from how expensive everything is, but seeing that this was free we took the ticket in advance. • We had time for 5:30pm to supposedly see the “sunset”. We tried to arrive earlier to see if there would be a queue, but they told us that we had to be there 15 minutes before our time. Which surprised us from the beginning because there was a super long line, also outside with the wind and cold. • It was finally time to get in line, we started at 5:15pm. We knew that it didn't make any sense that they wouldn't let us get in line earlier because it was going to take a long time. Well that's how it was, we entered the inner part of the queue at 5:50pm. It was already 20 minutes later than our reservation time. • But that was not all, inside the queue continued, and above it there was an airport-type control with a belt to leave your things on a tray and a single scanner through which everyone passed, there were no queues formed inside and you had to manage to be able to pass through the scanner. • When we finished that we thought well, that's it, now up to relax and see the views and plants (all this at 6:10pm, 40 minutes have passed since our entrance). But when we got to the top, it was obviously already night and there was no sunset, and everything was dark and you couldn't even see the plants because of the darkness, just shadows. • In conclusion, if you were thinking about this experience, for my part I recommend skipping it, it is not worth it at all for what it is like when you get to the top after all.

We tried to use the blankets but was told by the rudest lady that we weren’t allowed to use the blankets as she was folding them for them to be cleaned. She was so so so rude we were baffled. No sign said they shouldn’t be used in fact quite the opposite it’s said to take one. A better system is needed - why wouldn’t you have blankets at the coldest part of the day?!?!?! My experience of this place was not good. It takes hours to get in, having to stand and wait in long queues, and go through border control like procedures before being allowed in the lift which again, you have to wait ages for. Next, if you need the bathroom expect to wait half an hour for a unisex toilet to become available. The toilets were unclean. Looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for hours. When we were finally ready to sit down and order drinks we were shocked by how expensive they are. For a small glass of white wine it’s £13!! It was freezing inside and so loud. The views are usually good but not this day as it was raining and foggy and couldn’t see so much. I decided against getting a drink and went home instead. Couldn’t get out of there faster. There is always a line outside but the wait is short... in our case we arrived with a lot of time to spare and they asked us to take a walk and return 15 minutes before our time. Access is from the side and they give you an inspection like getting on a plane: searches and inspection of bags, etc... well, you can take it as something fun if you want but keep it in mind so that you don't go too loaded with things. The views are spectacular and you can enjoy 360º panoramic views of all of London. Important landmarks are marked on the glass with the silhouettes and names of buildings or places. You can have something but it didn't look like anything really tasty and there are a lot of people... the best thing is to enjoy the views.

My visit to Sky Garden was a complete disappointment. The experience did not live up to the hype at all. The crowd management was terrible, with long waiting times despite having a booking. The staff lacked enthusiasm and were unhelpful when asked for assistance. The place itself felt overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy the view properly. Instead of a relaxing and scenic atmosphere, it was chaotic and noisy. The seating arrangements were poor, and getting a decent spot felt impossible. To add to the disappointment, the food and drinks were overpriced and did not justify the cost. The quality was average at best, and the service was painfully slow. The whole visit felt like a tourist trap rather than an enjoyable experience. Sky Garden seriously needs to work on its management, service quality, and overall visitor experience. Once inside, we were greeted by a stunning and spectacular garden in the clouds—truly a sight to behold. What impressed me even more was the pricing at the bar. You’d expect sky-high prices or to be bombarded with overpriced souvenirs, but that wasn’t the case at all. The bar had accessible, reasonably priced options that made it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. A must-visit destination in London, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

The site says it is free, and needs to be booked previously but don't explain that if you go over there without a book you need to pay £6'50, and any staff give you appropriate information. Horizon 22 is taller than it and much more interesting.

Even though it is a free observation deck, it offers a perfect view of London. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and visit!

Best place in the area for a quiet coffee, cake and food or a meeting. Family run with lovely atmosphere and a great location

terrible. I don't recommend it to anyone. Rude waiters and bad food. There are much better places in London where people provide decent service

Sadly I took a close business associate to this restaurant on the recommendation of Trip Advisor We had travelled all day from different cities to different hotels to meet at the About Thyme Restaurant it was very closed and so far we have been told it has been that way for many months May I suggest that TA keeps their records up to date as with most technology it is driven by humans and is only as good as the information that is put in This was a very expensive mistake Obviously in future I will always check that TA is accurate I have always enjoyed TA and intend doing so in the future but please update your records
