Really impressive view and took nice photos! Not cheap, still worth it. Pricing (after free hours on weekdays) is questionable as there is no option for entrance without a drink. Options are champagne 22£ or vine/mocktail 15,5£. Vine was horrible, mocktail mostly syrup, therefore also horrible. Had a great ale later at the bar upstairs, no clue why they 'force' a bad drink on you in the first place. Another weird thing, I had a problem understanding the bartender, and simply replied politely 'I'd like to order a drink', which resulted in a hostile "That's not what i asked", and him serving the next customer. Had to go to another bartender. (Understood from context afterwards he had said 'who's next'...)

Spent a lovely afternoon at Sky Garden London for amazing views of the city! Best of all it’s absolutely free to go up to ❤️ When I first went to the entrance around 11am I was told that though it was free I had to reserve a spot and these get booked out weeks ahead. So I thought I would go online and see the availability and I’m so glad I did because I got a spot for that afternoon at 1.30! The views are great and the garden itself is a lovely green space with seating so you can sit back and relax for a bit before going back down. Make sure to check it out! It’s free!!!!

I found this experience average. I'm glad it was free. I was hoping to see more 'garden' up there. The views are great but that's to be expected from that height. We waited about 15 minutes to use the restroom before we left. Maintenance put a sign out that they were cleaning. After the wait, we were the first in line. You had to register for free weeks in advance. There was a long line in front of the building, but we moved quickly. When you enter, your bags are scanned, you have to take off your coat, unpack your pockets and go through a security gate, like at the airport. The observation deck is on the 35th floor. There is an open terrace with a glass wall from which you can look around towards the river. You can see many landmarks, and what you can see from there is marked on the window. The side facing the tower blocks is a little higher, with plants in the middle. There are cafes on both sides, and the restaurant is in a closed area in the middle.

The Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street, also known as the "Walkie-Talkie" building, is one of London's most unique attractions. Located on the 35th floor, it offers stunning panoramic views of the city in a beautifully landscaped indoor garden setting. Pros: Spectacular Views: The 360-degree views stretch across London, with clear sightlines to landmarks like the Shard, Tower Bridge, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Free Entry: Unlike many observation decks, access is free, but advance booking is required. Relaxing Atmosphere: The lush greenery and spacious design make it a pleasant place to unwind. Dining Options: There are bars and restaurants, including Darwin Brasserie and Fenchurch Restaurant, offering drinks and meals with a view. Cons: Booking Required: While free, entry slots can be fully booked weeks in advance. Crowds: It can get quite busy, especially at sunset. Expensive Food & Drinks: While the entry is free, the dining options are pricey. View Obstructions: Some windows can have glare or smudges, affecting photography. Overall Verdict: The Sky Garden is a fantastic place to visit for both tourists and locals, offering breathtaking views and a unique garden experience high above the city. If you're planning a visit, book ahead and aim for a clear day to make the most of the views.

The publicly accessible and free roof garden extends over the three top floors (35th/37th) of the 'Walkie-Talkie' or 'The Pint' skyscraper, which is controversial among Londoners. It was designed by the Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly and built in the city from 2009-14. The 'Sky Garden' has two restaurants and offers a gigantic view over large areas of the metropolis - this is a visual stunner, especially during sunset. By the way, nothing works here without a pre-booked ticket or reservation in one of the two restaurants, as the flow of visitors never stops. Still a great experience whatever the weather! 🤩

He says, we arrived at 7pm in February, Aside from the weird security check, getting a table was fine because we booked ahead. It was dark, but the views over London were great, but spoiled by the balcony in the way, so any photos of the iconic shard building were spoiled. It's cold here, but heated seats! Provided they work 😕. Mine was nice and toasty. My partner's seat, not so much. The staff were great, but I don't think I'd rush to come back. It's ok, nice views, but a bit boring and the music wasn't too my taste. She says-I booked this and a bottle of champagne so £90 odd quid for the experience. You can walk in and you don't need to spend that much but I wanted it to be a real treat. It is chilly and I run hot (lady of a certain age) but you are aware of that when booking. His seat was lovely and toastie, mine was not. Staff were fab and helped take photos etc. Music awful...duff duff duff.....I think at 50 and 60 we brought the average age up quite a bit on a wednesday night. I wouldn't come back but I'm glad I came. Probably just go for the glass of fizz option next time and move on.

For God's sake, it can't be said that the view from up there isn't beautiful, but the organization could definitely be better. If I have an entrance booked at 4 pm and can get in line MAXIMUM 15 minutes before, I can't wait outside in line for 45 minutes (from 3:45 to 4:30). You can't get up at 4:40 for an aperitif/snack and be told "we don't have any more food"😅. And then, we know that London is expensive, but paying €20 for three hot teas... really too much. In conclusion, if you're only spending 3 days in London, I would honestly avoid it as a stop because it's not that worth it. If you're spending more days, however, I would advise you to go earlier in the day, around or shortly after lunch in short.

Good views if you can manage to get one of the free entry tickets. These are not easy to get! Otherwise you can book a table at one of the exorbitant restaurants, where you can eat mediocre food for fine dining prices. Best value is breakfast at Darwins. The Sky Garden itself is nice enough, good views but busy and untidy from the uncleared tables of leftovers at the cafe. Worth a visit? There's probably just as good views elsewhere and better value.
