The afternoon tea was delicious, but what made it such an enjoyable experience was our server, Raz~ As foreigners trying something that I'd say was pretty unfamiliar, he went above and beyond to make it a really special moment with my family. We visited here for afternoon tea. Fantastic experience overall. We loved the food, the tea, the dessert, everything was above our expectations. The restaurant is in Royal Albert Hall, which self is a historical piece of work worth visiting! Lastly, our waiter Raz is really helpful! He offered exceptional services and took great care of us along with our daughter. Our family had a sweet & nice meal time here. :)

We had a fantastic meal at the Coda when we say Jamie Cullum last Friday. The service was faultless and DIEGO was really attentive and kept us posted when the performance was going to start & to order drinks for the interval. Food arrived quickly & was the best meal we have had yet in the Coda, the escargots were divine! The only negative was where we were sat, no windows & less atmospheric than the inner room, but didn’t spoil a fantastic evening!

A cute place to have a meal before the performance as it gives the vibe and a unique atmosphere. Some bits of food were overcooked. Cod was served too hot while escargots were cold. Also asked two times for bread to be served. A total winner is a hazelnut cheesecake.

We absolutely love visiting the Albert Hall, and we've recently discovered their fine dining restaurant, Coda, which we booked for tonight's Jools Holland concert. It's a smart restaurant and we had excellent service, from our Spanish / Argentinian waiter (apologies that I don’t remember your name). The menu had some really nice choices and I selected: - Sea bream ceviche, soya jelly, citrus dressing Followed by: - Roasted rack of pork, crispy 'Nduja and aioli potatoes, tenderstem broccoli, chorizo jus And finally: - Hazelnut cheesecake, hazelnut streusel, gianduja glaze All the courses were really well presented and cooked beautifully. We had the first 2 courses before the first part of the concert and the pudding at the interval. Very civilised! Then Jools and his guests gave us an absolutely storming gig! I was particularly excited to see Toby Lee, who at 20 years old can tear fabulous electric blues out of his guitar - a real star in the making. Thanks to Coda, Jools, Toby and all the other artists for a superb evening! (Also posted to my food blog on Instagram @AbbeyKing16)

Ate here before seeing a concert. Food was very good and service was excellent. Was nice to be able to go to the table at the interval for desert and a drink rather than use the other bars which were very busy. Would definitely recommend as a nice relaxed way to start the evening rather than having to rush your food to get to the venue before a performance starts.

One of the benefits of coming to the proms is the opportunity to eat in one of the restaurants. Coda is the best of the main 3. Whilst the choice of dishes is not huge, it does not need to be. There is plenty to choose from and all very well cooked and presented. Service is impeccable and there is the opportunity to have desert in the interval. We were fortunate to be able to consume all three courses before the concert without being rushed. Good wine list too.

We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea after attending the Royal Albert Hall tour. Leo gave us a lovely afternoon and even gave us some light entertainment 😉. We had the vegetarian option and they were all very attentive to ensure that our dietary requirements were met. Very generous portions, just about every table in the restaurant could not finish what was offered and they were kind enough to let us take away what we couldn’t finish. Highly recommend the experience.

Wasn’t particularly impressed. Firstly, there needs to be some better comms internally as the door guards downstairs would not let us up ahead of our reservation time (and were pretty smug about it). But when we got up to the restaurant we were surprised to see plenty of people already seated, turns out you can go up any time after 5pm for drinks if you have a reservation. I really enjoyed my ceviche starter and the prawns my friend ordered were also good. My aubergine main was swimming in oil and not enjoyable at all and my friend had some very dry pork with obliterated broccoli. Definitely not good quality you would expect for the price point. Enjoyable desserts, I had a pistachio creme brûlée and the other guest had the lemon tart. Both were ok but nothing mind blowing. Won’t be returning and can’t recommend.

Booked here to a pre-prom meal for two. Food and service were inconsistent which was disappointing. Prawn starter was overcooked and mixed up wine pairing. Other table next to us were offered extra bread for their main but we had our bread dish taken away after the starter. For main, the rosti was not fully cooked with cold uncooked potato in the middle. I was offered to have chips instead and they turn out to be chewy and some were undercooked. As for dessert, they misunderstood that we wanted wine pairing for both dessert. Instead they brought two identical wine. We were offered to have dessert taken off the meal as a gesture, which was fine but the lack of care from front of house and kitchen leaves a bitter taste. It is a shame, some of the food were very good. The guinea fowl main was very delicious and so is the crème brûlée. The restaurant decor was elegant. We also heard that the service charge is not shared with the staff, but to the company. Sorry that is very bad practice and we will in future give the restaurant a miss.

We had our RAH tea at 130pm. The venue was very nice, the tea quality was excellent. The sandwiches were the best tea sandwiches we’ve had so far. The scones were very good, although the 3 sweet pastries we had were middling. The servers were hit and miss — ours was not too good — he was not very engaging, did not fully explain the teas, did not offer refills on anything (when we asked he did oblige), and 1 of the 2 cake slices we took home was missing 50% (was not correctly sliced and placed in the box). Overall we would rate the tea experience a 4 out of 5.

We ate here last night as part of our Cirque Du Soliel package and unfortunately found the whole experience quite disappointing. I found some of the wait staff weren’t of the standard you would expect of a fine dining restaurant. Both our starters were not great, my wife had a cheese and beetroot dish which was very average and I had the prawns which were overcooked. For mains my wife had duck which she enjoyed and I have the beef filet which unfortunately came out blue rather than mid rare.. The sticky toffee pudding was very good. My partner and I dined at Coda last weekend before going to see Cirque du Soleil. The evening started somewhat average, with a rather chaotic service, which was clearly down to lack of waiting staff training. We arrived and had to wait for about 15 min for our glasses with Champagne and water arrived. Quickly after this, Bruna arrived and took over the service of our table and it is safe to say she saved the evening, turning a very average service into a hospitable, personal and all around lovely service for the rest of the evening. Although busy, Bruna took the time to show she cared, that she enjoys working there and delivers everything with a smile. The food was lovely, with nothing to fault, so we were thrilled when Bruna took over our table. Thank you for turning our evening into a pleasant one!

Came as a treat for my niece before the evening performance of Cirque. Taken to our table and it took approximately 15 mins before we got a drink- water and that was after a waved request to a waiter. He stated that ‘ it wasn’t his table’ So much for team work . We had wanted to order a bottle of champagne but when eventually someone came , the manageress we just ordered our food and bottle of wine. No sweetbreads or duck which we had not been informed of when taken to the table. Wine eventually arrived and the waiter was in danger of stabbing himself - no idea how to open a bottle. We had to ask for other glasses as we had rose and red wine but one of the glasses was dirty. The main course arrived late and we had to rush eating in order to walk round to our loggia. To be asked to pay the bill before we’d had dessert and wine we were made to feel under suspicion Having been to Coda before we will not be returning again. Truly dismal service

Elegant Dining Experience at Royal Albert Hall with a Few Misses I recently visited this restaurant before a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and was struck by the relaxing atmosphere and the efficiency of the friendly staff, which set a pleasant tone for the evening. The menu, a fusion of modern fare and fine dining, offered some hits and misses. The chestnut tortellini, while an interesting choice, fell short of expectations. The portion was small, and the flavor of the spring onions was too dominant, overshadowing the subtlety of the chestnuts. However, the prawns appetizer and the pork main course were delightful, perfectly hitting the mark with their flavors and presentation. The cheese plate that followed was a satisfactory end to the meal, though I found myself needing a bit more, as I grabbed a bag of crisps during the concert’s intermission. Coda is undoubtedly a popular spot at the Royal Albert Hall, and its reputation is well-deserved in many aspects, but there’s room for improvement in balancing the flavors and portion sizes. It’s definitely a place worth trying, especially for its ambiance and select standout dishes.

Our October 22nd experience at the Coda Restaurant was absolutely amazing. Our server, Raquel, was very attentive, kind and outstanding. The food was too beautifully prepared to eat and the taste was exquisite. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful experience at coda. Beautiful food, friendly staff and a great location. The restaurant manager, Gianpier, was wonderful, nothing was too big a job for him! Thank you!

One of the best wine bar in London, great selections of wines, amazing foods and the staff, Maran in particular was very knowledgeable about selection of wine and very accommodating and helpful. Definitely I will go back soon!

The matcha was terrible, there was no toilet in the cafe and they forgot my order and forgot to bring water to the table despite asking. Will not be going again

Airport style security which I welcomed the evening was raining so cloudy but you could still see all the light display across Londons landmarks I'd bought the ticket with either complimentary cider or mulled wine unfortunately they had no cider so had to have mulled wine. Atmosphere was nice dj present also
