Went for an family 18th gathering on a Sunday. Been to a few parties here and the staff are amazing!!! The food was incredible, sliders, salads, chips etc and it was lovely and so tasty. Only negative is the stairs so get to the loft. No lift or disabled access

Today I Did Enjoy A Very Good Burger And Chip's And Diet Coke Here At The House Kitchen & Bar On Goose Green in Altrincham Greater Manchester I Was Served By Hannah She Did Do A Very Good Job Here Bring It To Me To My Table An She is A Very Nice Girl And Very Nice Waitress Here As Very Good Staff And I Do Appreciate All Of The Very Nice Thing's She Said To Me Here Today Saying To Me Your Alrite Sweet,Here You Are Sweety And Here You Go Sweet Pea, Which She Made Me Feel Very Happy I Do Really Appreciate Her Saying Very Nice Thing's Like That To Me And I'll Definitely Be Coming Back Here Again To Eat Here Again in The Near Future 👍😃💓

We came for a drink after a hike and enjoyed our afternoon here. Good drinks and brilliant service from the staff.

Planned a mother's day meal based on Googles and their own websites opening times and when I showed up at half 11 they were closed. I called and they said they werent opening until 4.

I have just returned from a night out with friends, I left early because the door man with the beard put me down because of my age, apparently only 12 year olds are welcome! So rude to a lady, then I went to the bathroom and he was trying to take my bottle of wine until I said you are a doorman you can’t drink at work can you?

Love this place usually a great crowd and regulars. Sometimes get the odd jumped up punter that try's to abuse bar and door staff and don't like it when they get removed. Other than that it's a great night out and your always well looked after and kept safe. Would recommend 👌

Disgusting establishment!! I will never step foot in this place and the licence needs to be taken off them. The door staff are abusive to women physically and verbally and the management try and sell you drugs in the toilets avoid this place !

Avoid at all cost❗️I cannot believe the carnage out in altrincham lastnight at this establishment! Absolutely avoid at all costs! Bouncers attacking young girls and lads for fun, cannot believe what I witnessed I hope these 3 bouncers are proud of themselves throwing a young girl around and punching a young lad out cold in 2 separate incidents and making trouble with customers for no reason and laughing between themselves afterwards! Watched from a bar facing and really made the night feel unsafe when they’re suppose to be the people that are in a job role to protect people! Need to look at who they are hiring when attacking customers!

Bouncers punched 3 guys in 10 minutes all in separate incidents and were all unprovoked, hope this place removes them soon cause was absolutely disgraceful the way some of those people were treated tonight by these coked up bouncers

The live music is great and the group last night was especially good. The singer was fab. The atmosphere is relaxed and the people are cool.

After a long walk we were very pleased to get a late lunch in nice garden overlooking the marina. Very good lunch and quick service. Reasonable prices. Inside seating very attractive too.

Saturday night with live music. Music really good, food pretty good but nacho's need improvement. Atmosphere excellent. Big white elephant in the room is the door. At least a sign saying "please close the door" should be on it. Far too many people with "not a lot behind the eyes, or I'm far to entitled" use the door and leave it wide open. It's not rocket science but the 2 months the weather is good enough for it to be left open are far and few between. Would I come back? 100% if the door issue is addressed, 50/50 if it stays the same. Its the small stuff that matters sometimes.

Have to say what a brilliant evening with friends. Dropped in, adhoc, turned out to be a great evening, with friends. Have to say that the food was delicious, especially the Prawn Risotto (possibly the best I've ever tasted). Thank you for a great evening.

Had fabulous meal with friends the food was fabulous best fillet steak I’ve had anywhere and the sweets are to die for. Cocktails were good and friendly and helpful staff especially EmiIy excellent service.

We walked into House with no booking but we were accommodated easily. Emily our waitress was great with our 6 year old son. She recommended the best option for him as he can be fussy. She recommended great starters and mains for us and was very patient as we looked through the wine list. Definitely would recommend. The food was amazing. Fresh and filling. Generous portions.

Absolutely amazing place. Food was superb and the waitress Emily was brilliant. She welcomed us from stepping foot through the door and made sure we had everything we wanted and there were 12 of us! Nothing was too much trouble and a fantastic evening was had by us all.

What a fantastic venue, amazing staff especially the lovely Emily...the best in customer service, great food, great atmosphere. Will most definately on our "got to back" list...after a really tough year you all made it a great night to end on....Thank you all so much...till next time x

Lovely interiors. Very cosy with wooden flooring which gives the pub a nice fresh smell. We ordered a cafe latte and a sticky toffee pudding with custard. They serve it with icecream but we particularly asked for custard. Delicious. Service good. Waiters/ waitresses very friendly and polite.

Brilliant location!! All the necessary precations are in place. Friendly, polite and attentive staff. The food was great, our table of 4 all said the same! Definitely recommend it.

Great bar and atmosphere. Some interesting beers you don't find anywhere else. Staff are great and there was a fabulous singer on when we went last Saturday.

Booked a table for 2 for our silver wedding anniversary. Turned up on the day at the right time and was told, "sorry, we're not serving food today, but you're welcome to have a drink". Sent a polite email the following day, but management didn't even have the decency to respond. Shocking and bitterly disappointing.

Would give this place 6/5 if I could. Lovely staff, absolutely belting sun trap. Lager was crisp and served in a lovely tankard, food was next level. I had the slow cooked beef rib roast, my wife had the chicken. Both superb. 100% would return- you'd have a harder time keeping me away. NB looks like there's live music etc here as well. Top top top.

Went to house last night, and had a really lovely time with some friends. The food was excellent, would recommend the Raspberry Cheesecake but what really made our night was Hannah the waitress. She was so polite, happy & entertaining so THANk YOU Hannah! Don’t worry about the mixup with the tables, that was absolutely fine.....

I don't know why but when there's half the tables taken and me and a groub of 4 are wanting to come in and spend are money do we get told on the hottest week in the UK that we are not allowed in to the establishment in shorts but we see people in track suit bottoms and hoodies of there was a dress code stated and there never has been I just feel our night has been ruined by this and shall not be returning as I've always loved coming to house bar pre lock down and never had any such issues. I feel this policy is a shambles

Amazing staff and a great atmosphere

House was one of our favourite spots before it rebranded to Loft, and now Loft is one of our favourite spots. Staff are friendly, good drinks prices, nice atmosphere.

Don’t mistake this for what was known as ‘House’. Rebranded as ‘Loft’ with a different menu, we booked a table on the ‘House’ website expecting it to be as normal, we weren’t advised anything had changed so why would we expect it? On arrival we realised there had been a rebranding but the small plates menu was the same so we thought we’d give it a try. On ordering we were informed that none of the small plates or side orders were available so we could have pizza or tacos... I was disappointed but like tacos so gave them a try... it took an eternity to place the order, as the girl behind the bar really didn’t know how & gave a lot of confusing information! When the food arrived I really wished I’d gone elsewhere. The toppings were ok, served cold but ok, but the sauce was all sunk into a really bad tasting cold taco so ruined it. We left really disappointed. I hope some of the old standards will return eventually but we won’t be risking it again!!

Free pool and pinball goid pizzas if a little expensive.

Not like the old House, need to get more organised. Went in to book for Xmas Eve but when I phoned to adjust the time slightly I was told they weren't open at the time I had previously booked for! Still Great food though hence 4 stars

The rudest bartender ive ever come across. As i run my own wine bar this guy would have been sacked. Its a shame as we had eaten there and the other staff were lovely.

Drug Den. Went for a drink on Saturday night. Couldn't get to toilet due to 5 lads sniffing coke off sink and toilet cubicle area. Full of kids with fake lips and half dressed. AVOID

Normally great but really disappointed. Booked a table for 9, when arrived we couldn't eat in the restaurant area as not enough staff. After a lot of musical chairs the group was split up between two booths. The smell from the toilets was awful and not what you want at all never mind while eating lunch. Service very slow - would be better to offer a smaller lunch time menu if the kitchen can't cope. Food came out over 3 different time slots and the last lot was cold. The lady behind the bar was nice and apologetic but sadly our 6 weekly team lunches wont be happening there again. We were there for an hour and half just for one course.

Been here a couple of times now, staff friendly and helpful. Some great offers on drinks, so worth finding them out before you go. We had a bottle of nice wine for £10 during the happy hour. Nice outside space which is covered and heated.

Absolutely awful, turned up noonish, the place was trashed, literally felt and smelt like I had walked into someone house party from night before. Ladie was serving builders out the back and we were ignored for 15mins whilst she flapped around, glasses from night before still their, this was unfortunately a bday groupon meal booked for the other half which after calling to check I can use was told we coulnt ( may say in small print on group on) but it was a last minute booking and just called each place before buying 15minuted before arriving. Anyway, the state of the place and the fact I couldnt get a deal to eat in that place, we left without hesitation!!! Would prefer to pay more, we ended up at a place in town centre pierre bistro, which I highly recommend, lovely place, great value, service 2nd to none and food high level!!! Dont waste your money, tummy (place a mess) or time going here when a place like bistro pierre is literally round the corner, you will thank me later!!!

Lovely food We went with a Groupon voucher and were pleasantly surprised The food was lovely and the service really attentive, though it was Saturday night and the place was extremely busy Nice atmosphere and their king scallops and lamb tagine were to die for!!!

Went on a busy Friday night. Food was good. Good options for adults but no children’s menu. Staff were nice but service was extremely slow and side dishes were forgotten. Marked down for slow service.

Very very poor food, if chefs can't make the basics like a hollandaise or blue cheese sauce, or source anything other than very remedial grade meat, you should really think about recruiting some new kitchen staff. Very slow service too. The wines under £25 so bad practically undrinkable

Always quality and always friendly

The food is average and overpriced for what you get. Wine nice but again expensive. A bottle of house red £18. Wouldn't be my first choice with so many great restaurants in altrincham.

Excellent meal very good quality. Went with work for our October social and we were all really impressed. most of us aren't from altrincham and didnt know about the square so will defo be back!

Family celebration with half the room reserved for 18 of us with really good service and attention. Food was good to excellent with no complaints. Our only issue was that most of us needed to keep coats on as the room was cold and that is why I have gone from an otherwise 5 to 3 stars.

We used to love coming to this restaurant and went frequently but unfortunately the menu changed with some of our favourite dishes and the early bird menu disappearing. The staff are still great but the last time we went there, there was an unpleasant odor when we walked in. My wife visited recently with friends for a set meal and was surprised no carbs came with her main and they had run out of the cheese and biscuits as well as the other pudding she wanted. Really hope things improve and we hope to try it again at some point so I can put this review back to 5 stars.
