Handy little cafe , the flat white was very nice.A quirky feature of this place is that they sell bags of duck food for the close by pond at 30p a pop.

Food was good but we could only have cold food as she was on her own.

First time visiting with a friend and two dogs between us. The cafe is dog friendly, but we sat outside as it was a lovely morning. The staff were really friendly, and the cafe had a great atmosphere. We both had the Bacon, Brie and Cranberry toastie. Very yummy. Definite 👍👍👍👍👍Look forward to visiting again soon.

The cafe is brilliantly located right in the toddler play area at Stamford park. Having a cafe with a toilet is very convenient when I'm out and about with the kids. They have friendly staff, great coffee, lovely atmosphere & fabulous value.

Brilliant community initiative. I took my 3 year old and 1 year old. Nice simple menu and perfect location. We arrived on the train and the park is less than 10 minutes walk away. Great quick service.

This is a lovely little cafe in a beautiful setting in Stamford Park, hidden away by the children’s open play area. Great coffee, lovely food + really nice people. Highly recommended

Had a lovely visit to the Cafe in the Park today with my newly arrived granddaughter, Charlotte, (just 6 weeks old). The staff were really helpful and I enjoyed my cup of tea from a real teapot (don’t see that too much these days). I also ordered a cheese and onion toastie which was delicious - and all brought to your table too! Fabulous, friendly cafe and people - will definitely go again.

Appreciate it is run as a charity by volunteers but the food was horrendous. Probably fine for a coffee and cake.

Hi, I came in the other day and had never been in before, i went up to order some drinks and food and a lovely young women took my order and I must say she was extremely helpful. I didn’t catch her name but she was ginger. I just wanted to leave this review so she could get the recognition she deserves! I’ll definitely be back xx

Wonderful cafe. Great coffee, cakes, ice-creams. Lovely seating area right next to the playground. All profits support the community centre. Just awesome - kept us going through lockdown.

Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.

Great place for a bite and help community. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They have cakes like brownies, cupcakes, chocolate crunches, and caramel crunches. Different coffee and ice creams are served. A handful of choices for sandwiches like brie with cranberries, ham and cheese, cheddar and tomato, etc. Prices are reasonable too.

Perfect for snacks and drinks Staff were sweet friendly and kind. It could be so much more. I wonder where you source your volunteers? If you are a charity could you link with Fareshare for food donations to make the menu a little more varied and reduce your overheads. And maybe find some volunteer bakers for better cake options. It’s a lovely location in a gorgeous city park -

Great park. Play area for kids is big with lots of things to play on and nice walks around the fields with a pond to feed the ducks

This cafe is really great for cheap food and the staff are really lovely! You can buy duck food at the cafe for ducks in the park for 25p per bag. We had an impromptu kids party here for 8 adults and 6 kids with cakes, crisps and sandwiches for less than £14 in total!! And they didn't bat an eyelid when I sprung it on them - such nice people and really cheap!!

Lovely place, can get very busy and slightly crowded. Great for dog owners and has contactless payment options. Food takes a while during busy periods

Lovely little cafe.. I had a jacket potato with chilli and cheese. Quite often places can’t seem to get a jacket potato right, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside! This place does and I had the most delicious home made chilli with it. Absolutely gorgeous. Great coffee too😀

This is a small cafe bordering onto the park off Mayors Road which is linked to the Family Counselling Centre. Its a fantastic place as the Centre offers a great community service and the cafe is a new initiative they have started which is very reasonably priced. Its much cheaper and great value than the average cafe. They display local artists work thats for sale. Something different for those who want a quiet place, support a community serving centre and want really reasonably priced snacks/coffees.
