The best restaurants serving British food in England

My room was a bit small as was the tv, but apart from that, it was a pleasant stay. Also, the location is great if you want total peace and quiet shops are not within walking distance and gets very dark if you are walking to and from on the evening/night

First time at Moorfields and I would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch it was fantastic and the great service just topped off an excellent lunch. We will be returning!!

Amazing food eaten at this lovely local restaurant! We had the Xmas menu this time around and it was great, fantastic decor and the front of house team made sure we felt welcomed from the first moment to the last. Credit to Jess and her family, would highly recommend

Food was great, all very very nice. I had the seafood platter as did my husband and everything from the starter to the cheeseboard was great. Fantastic view out the back of the fields, wonderful on a warm summer evening.

Slightly overpriced for what we ordered and got, disappointed to be honest. Food was mediocre, waiting for 45 minutes for the food and yet no one else was eating at the time

A bar with it's own character and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff and a good range of craft beers and spirits. Loved it.

Delicious food! Even the small fish and chips is a generous portion. Gravy second to none. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Was left a very nasty message by this lady stating I'd made an unkind comment on her daughters tiktok........have been looking for an hour & can't find it!! So she thought it was OK to then do worse than she was accusing me of 😂😂 very clever - NOT!

Everything you expect from a country Inn

So lucky to call this pub my local! Dog friendly, great food and great entertainment too! Always nice to see friendly faces behind the bar, and service is always great!

We shared the seafood grazer with some buttered new potatoes, it was fantastic and also brilliant value for money. Our waitress was so friendly and took the time to chat to us. It really was the highlight of our visit to Dartmouth, we will be back!
