The Street Cafe in Norwich

This morning, I had a delightful traditional English breakfast at the Street Cafe. The staff was welcoming, polite, and friendly, providing excellent table service. The breakfast was not only well presented but also delicious. Despite the mix of customers, including young children, the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. I highly recommend this street cafe, which features a great selection of reasonably priced breakfasts and snacks, including options for both vegetarians and vegans.

A really nice place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and a cheese straw with my little dog.

Outstanding breakfast. I had the bumper, and it was superb. The quality of the meat is very good. The service was friendly and efficient, and the cafe was clearly popular and had a nice vibe. I will be back.

Always lovely food and friendly service

I ordered an oat milk hot chocolate and the vegan fry up. It was gorgeous and filling. My server was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Will continue to visit in the future

Omg!! Loved visiting the Street Cafe up on Magdalen street, the customer service was very welcoming when I walked through the door and my food and drink came almost immediately, the food was amazing and I will definitely be returning very soon!

I would avoid this place if you are disabled. I have an assistance dog who was in training and I clearly made this aware to the lady, She then came out and asked to see the Dogs paperwork of which I said I shouldn’t have to show you but I did show her the assistance dog card to which she wanted to take it out of the back and show somebody else the manager didn’t want to come out, very poor service in this day and age

Been multiple times and never had a bad breakfast, great selection, games like connect 4 to keep kids entertained.

Nice little cafe, with a nice atmosphere, excellent service and nice food. Very family oriented with games and puzzles around, nice touch. The staff were very pleasant and the sausages and coffee were very tasty. Will definitely come again in the future.

This cafe is by far the best in Norwich me and the misses are regulars now and wouldn't go anywhere else

Started with the warmest most friendly welcome I think I've had in any cafe and continued being decent. Good to see a number of vegan options. I had the vegan sausage bap, it was huge, tasty and good value. Next time I'm in these parts I know where to go!

The best cafe in Norfolk ❤️ always delicious food, well presented, good value, lovely staff, super clean - you can’t go wrong! Really lovely vegetarian breakfast with halloumi. We’ve been many times over the years and it never disappoints! The (new?) younger man who served us was a great addition to your team!

Not very impressive. We were told there was a half an hour wait for food but to be honest I don't get why. The menu is boring and expensive. Triple cooked wedges weren't triple cooked they had hardly been cooked once (again this mythical half an hour makes no sense after all that came out of the kitchen was scones and coffee). My breakfast was ok but not something I'd want again.

It's 5* when we are here, but the time our table was given away 10 mins before we arrived when we booked 3 years ago still pisses us all off.

As a couple we often include a lunchtime visit to the Street Cafe, Norwich. The Cafe offers that pleasing combination of cleanliness, friendliness, efficiency and perfectly prepared, good quality food. See you again soon

Got an all day breakfast to take away, was really nice, except it came in like a pizza box to take away, so all the juice from the tomato and beans went all over me. Was really nice and a reasonable price, great service with a smile, will definitely go back when I'm down Norwich way again.

Had a really nice lunch at this friendly cafe. My baby has allergies which have made meals out a challenge. However, the menu was flexible and staff accommodating. The staff were kind and helpful. We felt reassured and they went the extra mile for us to enjoy our meal. We were in right before closing too and didn’t feel rushed or like a burden. Really appreciate the inviting and relaxed atmosphere and lovely food too.

Great and very generous breakfast served by a really energetic young lady, playing great music in the background. Got us going for the rest of the day!

I'm a regular in this place and never ceases to amaze me, the drinks are creative and complex, the food is always lovely, whatever you order is going to look amazing and taste just as good. Totally recommended!

Took over half hour to get my food, wasn't busy. Mushrooms and egg were strange so I left them. Then spent the rest of the afternoon on the toilet... Nice. Will not be returning would recommend you avoid.

30 minutes walk here. Going Scotish on waffles. Is that such a thing. Here from the Midlands and this is my first breakfast.

We had a fantastic breakfast here recently. The staff were wonderfully cheerful and friendly. The breakfast itself was probably the best we’ve had! Everything tasted amazing, even the mushrooms 😋 I’m a fussy breakfast eater as I don’t like eggs or baked beans so it was perfect to find a “build your own” option. I can highly recommend the fried halloumi! We even treated ourselves to a couple of cakes for tea and they were superb too. Good prices too - definitely worth visiting.

I love street cafe always 10/10 all round. But please guys. Don’t serve rock hard butter with soft bread. It’s a cardinal sin. My bread was massacred by the time me and the butter were finished with it. It’s a tiny detail. But it goes a long way

Upon perusing the emporium with gastronomic intent, I found myself compelled to procure sustenance. The establishment, an oasis of victual delights, catered to my discerning palate with an array of delectable comestibles. In succinct summation, a superlative emporium for the epicurean connoisseur. The staff were also friendly and we got sweets and biscuits with our receipt

Great cafe, lovely friendly staff, a good location, and nice atmosphere. A little slip up with the order, but staff were very apologetic and adjusted the bill, no questions. Food very super, maybe just a tad on the expensive side, but totally reasonable considering the quality. Would 100% go again. 👍

What an absolutely fabulous place. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, the service outstanding, the premises super clean and even the toilets pristine. Recommended to me by my eldest two boys who eat there regularly - we will definitely be back. Thank you so much 😊

Absolutely top breakfast made from quality components and prepared beautifully , washed down with a big mug of tea. There was at least three staff who were working their socks off in this busy restaurant but still managed to engage with you and serve with a smile. An absolutely 10/10 experience

Very welcoming staff, we were seated quickly. The coffee was lush, and the food was amazing, I had the smaller breakfast, and my boyfriend had the larger one. Amazing food and really tasty. I will be back.

What a lovely cafe in Magdalen Street. We cannot wait to return. We were greeted with such a warm welcome. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were very polite, bubbly and friendly. Hands-on best iced teas we’ve ever had. Tried the raspberry-mango & strawberry-cucumber one & they were just great! Had the vegetarian & vegan breakfast which were awesome as well. Lovely interior, having a really cosy vibe to it. Super friendly staff, overall a great experience & defo a hidden gem in Norwich, 100% worth to go! :)

This is a great cafe, considering its in in such an awful part of Norwich. My food has always been tasty, and the staff are always friendly. They do a great breakfast and I love their fried egg baps. On my most recent visit I just wanted a milkshake and some chips and the chips were the best I have tasted in a long time, they were homemade and tasted amazing.

If you are looking for a classy spoon cafe in Norwich, then this is it! I had a bumper fry up and it certainly was! Piping hot mushrooms, really nice sausages, tomato, fried bread, fried eggs... everything really 🤤 Decor was very nice and bright, service was impeccable. The serving sizes are great, the small vegetarian with fried halloumi my wife couldn't finish. The only issue was *our own* fault as we had to rush to get to the car 🙄, I would have loved to savour it a bit longer.

Really good breakfast here and the staff are very polite and friendly. It's a really child friendly cafe too, with a kids menu, booster seats if needed, offer colouring pencils to keep the little one entertained and even have childrens cutlery. It's our go to cafe for breakfast, 100% recommend.

Notified of a 40 min wait on food not in a hurry so proceeded. Waited 15 mins for a waitress to take drink order at which point no service a couple came in after us their order was taken. Another ten mins their drink arrived still we are waiting. We left so the 40 min was just us
