The best restaurants serving British food in England

This time I had:- BBQ Pulled Chicken Toasted Focaccia Melt £11.90 Served with homemade chips & coleslaw Tender chicken breast , red onions, cheddar cheese, smokey BBQ sauce Just lovely, all elements of the dish beautifully executed. I did upgrade to salt & pepper chips, definitely the best out there. It’s a cracking cafe, great staff & an interesting menu - it doesn’t rate the highly on TripAdvisor for no reason!

A superb speciality fish restaurant with an excellent menu selection (including meat) and an exceptional service. This was a lunch for two (my wife and I) on the 26th November.

Not very friendly, bar manager hadly spoke! Very tatty!

Wonderful experience, first class service, exceptional food, in a beautiful place. So glad we had the opportunity to visit Dinner with Heston.

Everyone enjoyed their stakes, but I had the scallops followed by chicken, which was fantastic. We'd forgotten the wine we liked before but again were recommended a very good red. Great food and service.

I went here with my Long term Partner for Christmas before Covid. Again.... It was all kinda new to him! He was also excited to go to Hamleys Toy Shop which was also just on the Regent Street. So very well located for children. The Langham Hotel also has a pool. The Staff were so fun and pleasant. A lovely group of Staff. I had so much laughs with them a complementary Homemade Christmas Pudding was sent up to the room. Thank you to Staff of the Roux at the Landau. I was hoping you would be reopening after Covid, but alass. Wishing you all success in your chosen paths and thank you for a memorable heart warming memory x

**** WARNING **** RISK TO HEALTH **** THE DELIVERIES ARE NOT PACKAGED SAFELY! DELIVERY DRIVERS TAMPER WITH THE FOOD!! This place used to be a good place to order from, but I think it's been taken over by a new owner now. The food tastes bland now. They don't include napkins, biscuits, salt & pepper, etc with the delivery orders. The previous owner included all of this as standard. And the packaging is awful. All they do is put your food in a carrier bag, and tie a simple knot! Very easy for dodgy delivery drivers to tamper with the food! They should secure the bag better! Either with staples, sellotape, etc. I won't be ordering from them again! The packaging is not secure! Orders pose a HEALTH RISK!

Nicely furnished. Cleanest toilets ever. Expensive menu. Must be nice to stay here. Short walk to centre and other bars nearby.

Great food as usual , and great delivery service

The food was good, big portions. The staff were friendly. But stood behind the bar chatting. We had to ask for everything eh. Extra drinks, pudding. No one cleared the table at the end. No one asked if the meal was OK. Mediocre service

Terrific. Fish and chips are great. My wife, who usually eats very little or no fish, thought it was great with the fries, as did I. Friendly staff and service. The ambience is perfectly fine with the reasonable prices.
