It is a real treat to enjoy amazing food. Me and my son share the mixed grill and love it when we can. It isn't fast food but it is worth it.

I am obsessed with this restaurant 😍 I go as much as I can, which isn't as often as I would like, but food has so much flavour, and staff are always amazing 👏🏾

Amazing experience, very homely comfortably relaxing environment, polite and casual waiting staff with great service skills and professionalism. Makes you feel like one of the family. The food is amazing, great sized portions, amazing full flavours and very appetising. Filling too so make sure your eyes aren't too big. Pricing is very good too. Can tell everything is Homemade with love and fresh ingredients. Nice variety of menu too and accommodates and dietary requirements.

Dropped in on match-day and although busy, which is great to see for a local business, the staff were friendly and attentive. My only gripe is that the kofta in pitta could have taken one more meat-ball. Two pieces of meat wasn't enough and for £6 the value is questionable.

What a great wee Mediterranean restaurant. Cocktails were delicious, and the food was all superb. Excellent place for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Staff are fantastic too. Definitely a wee gem in Burnely.

Ideal for Mediterranean food choices, reasonably priced, good tapas options, good choiceof beer and hot drinks too. Bit small but won't be disappointed. Seating is available outside if it's dry.

This is a hidden gem! Directed here from the health centre next door because I needed Wi-Fi urgently. I cannot understate the care, attention and help from the staff. I was immediately tempted by the food coming out of the kitchen and ordered a Greek salad. Just delicious. Following my appointment I had time to call back and enjoyed another excellent coffee (they remembered my order!) Excellent customer service, very friendly happy place, the food looks amazing and when I next have to come to the health centre I will factor in lunch! Thank you so much for supporting me in my stressful day. Your Egyptian cake was to die for!

First visit to this delightful laid out furnished restaurant made to feel absolutely welcome by all the staff who went above for everyone who was dining there - we went for a set 3 course set menu which when arrived was explained what each plate was - the food was excellent there is also an extensive menu which we will try next time a must visit for everyone we will certainly be going back when we next visit Burnley thank you for making us feel so very welcome

Got a takeaway Fri night, a mixed barbecue, it was sooo delish , the meat was really succulent and tender and served with salad ,warm pitta and sauce. Delivery was prompt in fact earlier than stated . Would recommend.

Heard great reviews about this restaurant so tried it today. I paid £8 for a Tomato Chilli and Garlic chicken dish. Myself and my Dad same to the same conclusions: The taste of the meat was fantastic. The portion size unsatisfactory. The salad was a bit bog standard and dry. The pitta bread was disappointing, I visualised a nice fresh warm Mediterranean delight, but it was ordinary. I would have told the staff this in person but I wasn't asked how my meal was. Overall for the portion size I would have paid a fiver at best. Consequently I nipped into Haffners to grab a pie to fill an empty gap.

Went for a birthday meal and the experience as a whole was amazing. The food was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were incredible as they always are, making sure you have everything you needed and generally making it feel more special. Ive been a few times and the standard never drops, it only gets better and better! The owners are lovely and friendly and I can't recommend the restaurant enough! Definitely will be attending again soon! 😊

This is my favorite restaurant in Burnley. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! The staff are also great and always happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Burnley.

Came here as a group for a 21st birthday meal. Staff really went out of their way to make it feel special. Food was amazing and very well priced for what you get. As a couple we managed to get starters, mains (plates full of BBQ meats) and a good few drinks for under £45. Honestly could not believe it. Will be returning again very soon. Thank you to all the staff.

We really enjoyed our evening meal at Continentals. We haven’t been for years and it still as good as I remember. We loved the feeling as we walked in with the warm welcome, fairy lights and the smell of barbecue :) The food was delicious- we had the meze for starters and the mixed barbecue for the main meal. We shall be returning, loved it! Thanks Continentals :)

Work just down the road, got lunch from here for the first time today. Full of flavour, not greasy, good size and not muchvof a weight. Perfect and price is reasonable! Will defo eat from here again!

We have been visiting here for at least 8 years now and never fails to deliver. Visited this week for a birthday. Always a great night. Service 10, Food 10, Price 10. Honestly, we had a brilliant night and will continue returning.

Been to continentals tonight, food was way too garlicky and dry. Not to mention paying £7 for an extra chicken breast but getting something which resembled a chicken nugget! The food wasn’t the worse part, the staff were rude, sarcastic, and unhygienic, making us feel belittled. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The food is so good we all loved it and it was so tasty! However towards the end of the evening, we questioned a few things on the bill. The waitresses were quite rude and we saw them on many accounts staring at us and talking about us, giving us dirty looks. As we were leaving one waitress in particular said goodbye to us very sarcastically which we did not like. It felt as though we were made fun of so we left out of feeling uneasy. We were being looked at and laughed at. Up until then we would have returned as the food and restaurant itself is brilliant but the staff need to make sure they aren’t rude. We won’t be coming back as we didn’t feel welcome at all. It’s a shame

We have tried to eat here a few times but never been able to get a seat. Today we hit the jackpot. Arrived just as a guy and his son was leaving. Menu was great service good and food amazing.

Places catering for vegetarian or vegan tastes are rarer than a hen’s tooth (to mix a metaphor) In Burnley. I’ve had so many disappointing trips. Many are closed, or, oops vegan not on the menu. This is a find I’ll be revisiting. Easy on-street parking (charged externally). Very pleasant staff. Good range of options- me wife had a large omelette and I had the Egyptian Foul Mesdames. Pleasant change to find well-cooked food. Ambiance ? Think old-school corner cafe. And that’s good. It was very popular during our visit.

You can not walk passed this place without the smell of BBQ meat tempting you in. Sat on the corner off the main high street in Burnley, it’s a must if in and around the town. Food delicious, friendly staff. A must try.

Simple Mediterranean and Greek food, but everything is done to perfection. Lamb koftes are to die for, and the feta is amazing, coffee is good too, and prices are very reasonable, updated review after Google asked me too, I stand by every word

Had a group evening meal here, my first time. The staff were very attentive, worked really hard making sure meals were promptly served, so great customer service 😀. I ordered the Egyptian Platter as a main, a wide variety of food's, it all tasted good, especially the fresh hummus & the falefal burger. Unfortunately I was disappointed with my main, the Pitta was overcooked & very chewy, I would have preferred 2 falafel burgers on my plate as they were only bite size, my cous cous was hardly to be seen, with more salad in the mix rather than the grains, the mozzarella cheese slices were so very thinly cut with only 3 small slices, & the feta cheese was only crumbs thrown onto salad.. I had hoped for a vibrant salad, it would have been better with the hummus in a small round dish in the middle therefore enabling more room on the plate for more food portions of each variety. I don't feel this was worth the price of £10.50, I wasn't full by the end, & feel the portions were very minimal on my plate. I did not let this disappointment spoil my evening & my meal was improved by the dessert Vanilla Cheesecake good portion size & tasted spot on, light & refreshing & most important the wonderful company amongst friends. I may visit again, but I would choose a different hot main meal as they looked a better portion.

Absolutely beautiful meal I had with my son hadn't a clue what to have so a young girl who works there was of duty and my son asked what she was eating and she recommended bbq meats with salad chips and garlic bread just enough to eat enough to have a pudding I recommend it 100% and the staff were lovely too well done 👏 ✔

Went out for dinner last Saturday night. Small, intimate venue, lovely atmosphere. Very good food, especially if you like Middle Eastern cuisine as we do, friendly service.

Another quirky restaurant in Burnley. Excellent kebabs don't have the mixed meat platter unless you are really hungry. The decor is mid 70's night club brings back memories of the Angels 😖 I don't know why? Staff are charming, responsive and eclectic. You need to go at least once just to experience a totally different dining experience

Continentals is more than amazing I love going there I try to go every week as it's the best place to eat in Burnley ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ me and my friend had chicken kababs in pitta bread and salad and strawberry milkshakes SO DELICIOUS 😋 next time I go I will put on a photo 📸 well worth a visit 💖 they also have a restaurant which we are trying out next month 💙

Visited last night as a group to celebrate my 40th birthday. So well organised to adhere eto social distancing rules. Staff are brilliant, helpful and so friendly. We had the buffet menu which was excellent value for money. My favourite place to visit for food and drinks.

I am puzzled by this places good reputation. It was average to me. The rice was boil in the bag. The meat was tasteless. For £7 I got a box mainly of boil in the bag rice with a few pieces of onion and pepper. Not that much meat and no sign of any kind of seasoning or flavour from being barbecued. I went here years ago and it was something special. Now it's reputation is not deserved. Service friendly and good Corvid measures.

I opted for the ‘off the bone BBQ’, as recommended by a friendly member of staff. The food was freshly cooked, tasty, succulent and arrived quickly. All staff members were attentive, polite and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely. Very good value too...I’m surprised they’re not charging more to be honest. I’ll be spreading the word and will return in the near future.

The venue for all celebrations and weekend meals out. When you want to guarantee good food and brilliant drinks (cocktails are perfect) then head to continentals. The cocktails are as good as Albert schloss in Manchester (if not better). Brilliant. Can’t fault it

My partner and i visited the restaurant for a first post lockdown meal out, brilliant meal and service could not fault i had the boneless mixed grill which was fresh and delicious she had garlic pasta which she enjoyed also. will be back for sure

A large group of us visited the Continentals in Burnley to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. We all had the set meal and the food was excellent and very good value for money. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The only things that let it down were the rundown entrance to the building and the toilets and the lack of milk when one of the group asked for a coffee. Otherwise a very good experience and we would be very happy to go back

Love C ontinentals. The food is delicious and the service is great. I recommend it to all who are able to get up the steps which are very steep. The cost of our meal and drinks was very reasonable and the atmosphere is conducive to an enjoyable evening.

Was not very impressed. The salad was not presentable, the pitta bread had not been heated up. I thought the potion was small. The place itself was nice, but asked to be moved, as the placed us next to the kitchen with the raw meat on display. Nice apmospher, and nice music. Efficient staff.

We went to the restaurant in the evening for our friend's birthday bash.. they fed 30 of us admirably well besides the other diners. Gorgeous food (I had fillet steak which was really lovely and tender, you have to pre order it and pay a bit extra though). The service was very efficient and we had a great time all in all.

Visited here back in July for my nephew’s birthday lunch. Absolutely no faults at all the meat was delicious, cooked fresh and in front of you, the staff were lovely and attentive and the price of the dishes we got for the amount of food we got was really good value. Certainly recommend and will certainly be returning

Went here for lunch whilst back in Burnley and as usual not disappointed. Grilled meat and salad along with some lovely sides, what more could you want. If your not hungry, you can just have coffee and cakes but you will have missed out on some great food.

It was absolutely amazing, food, service and price. If you go past you can smell it, and it tastes just like it smells, delicious!
