First time we have eaten at the Bakehouse and it was very good indeed. The meal was very tasty especially the festive meze. With friends at a birthday party the service was excellent and the little touches such as balloons and table decorations really made for a great party atmosphere. Thank you.

I lived in Thailand for 3 years, and the food here is better than most I had in Thailand! Very authentic ingredients, incredibly friendly staff, and very accommodating (special shout out to Sam and Kirsty 🤗). Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

We have visited this restaurant many times over the past 20 years and have always had impeccable service and exceptional food in a beautiful setting. It was always a special treat for us and highly regarded by friends and family. I am aware of the recent change of ownership. Things have certainly changed here and not for the better. No table cloths, paper napkins, slate mats, mediocre to poor service, orders taken on iPad. Food was ok but not what it once was. Lots of chips in buckets. I won’t go into the minutia of the meal but overall disappointed. Very sad.

What a fantastic hidden gem. Absolutely amazing.

I have just had the most delicious Christmas lunch with friends. A friendly welcome, attentive staff. Food arrived hot, which is unusual in some places. Large portions, turkey was succulent and a large portion (I had to take some home). There was a large variety of vegetables. There was a wide selection of puddings which were delicious. My friends have not been before and will definitely be returning!

Simply put, a gem in the area. I have been to this location many times over the years and not once have I been disappointed. The service is always fantastic and the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome and respected. This is a tradesman’s best friend but also great for families. Photo is of the “Fat boy” breakfast, I wasn’t able to quite finish it but it was delicious and very generous 🍳
