If I had of read these reviews before we went to Lowestoft we certainly wouldn't of chosen to eat here. Not sure they know what they are doing. We queued for 10 minutes which I know isn't that long but that was just to reach the front of the queue to put our order in as they have nothing cooked. so ordered the food & had to wait. We were in a hurry & only waited a quick sausage & chips. after waiting 15 minutes for the food & having seen people that came in after us get there food before us my wife approached the counter & asked what the hold up was, the girl was very abrupt saying I don't know I didn't serve you. we just wanted to get our food so we could get going. My wife said can we just take a normal sausage & 2 small battered to get us served & on our way. She had to ask permission & was not overly happy about it. so ruse, poor service & food not great either = Steer well clear

Thought I'd try chips from here, never again, hot, hard and absolutely tasteless, I'm now nursing a burnt tongue.

Good news and bad news. Good news - Fish very nice. Free salt and vinegar. Bad news - Cold chips, dry bread roll, tea had a skin on it? Eat in the Resaurant, ate out of boxes with a wooden fork. 45p for a little sachet of sauce. Average service. I know it’s just fish and chip but it wasn’t a good experience.

Great snack food, excellent drinks choice, lovely view with windbreakers and outdoor heaters. We shared a Tempura Prawns and portion of chips. Quality was high, good size portions for the price. Really lovely staff.

If you could give this place minus then that’s the way it would be! I really don’t know how a shop like this is still running based on the reviews but I’m not one to judge on reviews! I went down there yesterday to try one of the shakes…. I was greeted by a young woman who had a stinking attitude who looked like she couldn’t be bothered to her job. Once the shake was served I took it back to the car to enjoy. Little did I know the smell of it like the milk was 3 months out of date half of the ingredients was barely blended! I should have walked away before ordering after seeing how dirty the shop was! I phoned the shop to speak to the manager to be told “ we don’t have a manager in the store currently” only a supervisor who weren’t worth speaking to ! I really don’t know how a business can run like this i definitely would never recommend this shop unless you want to be off work and certainly don’t take your kids there!!!

DO NOT ORDER!- SCAM! Faked a delivery and calls dp not go through!! Its a norwich number, yet a cambridge order?! Make ot make sense!!! I believe this is a front for illicit activity!

Fantástica comida que tenía patatas fritas de pudín y una tina de salsa y un precio de pastel de queso y cebolla por muy razonable. No puedo entender las malas críticas 🤔 el señor de entrega fue muy educado con una gran sonrisa y sobre todo no me di cuenta de que había pedido de cerezo pensé que había pedido de la más cercana a mí. Muchas gracias por su comentario y sin duda volveré a pedir. Un cliente feliz 😁

Had lunch here today, fish and chip meal with mushy peas, bread and butter plus tea £5. Reasonable, Staff friendly and welcoming, BUT needs a complete refurbishment, very dated furniture and decoration although it doesn't refelect the food which was delicious. Served quite quickly so I gues it depends what time you go as to how quickly you are served

Management stick 100% with staff but REFUSE to hear anyone else’s opinion on what happened. Even though they have cameras.

Got to be the slowest staff I have ever seen. The two young lads need a rocket up their proverbials as they are painfully slow. Queue out the door only because of this and undoubtedly losing trade. Train your staff or replace them is the best advice this business will ever get.

Terrible.Man was very rude on front, rolled my eyes at me!! When food came (1 and a half hours later!) got the wrong food even though we were the only ones in there. Food was sloppy and greasy. The toilets weren’t bad tho.

Once again all the shutters were down on the fridges and chiller cabinets and part of the frozen section was closed off this is the 2nd time in a few weeks. What happens to all of the food behind the shutters? I won’t be buying anything in the lines of fridges freezers or chillers in the future. Disgusting

I thought false advertising was illegal in this country, but I must be mistaken because this butty shop advertises that ALL their sandwiches are £1, yet when you pay, you are charged between £1.50 and £2.50. The sandwich I had tasted ok. Nothing special though, and it was very small. I will not be going there a second time. Dishonest and tight-fisted tactics do not lead to loyal, repeat customers. Maybe that's why the other food premises nextto thisone had people queuing out of the door, while this place was empty except for me.

A valentine meal, waited 35 minutes for a starter, and then an hour for our mains to arrive. And we can't say the wait was worth it. The food was shocking, tough Ribeye steak. Frozen chips, lacking any colour , for the cost of the meal, you would have expected fresh homemade chips. Mushrooms dripping in fat. 🤢 The poor very young waitress taking flack from several diners, having no support from the owners or managers. They should award her for keeping professional throughout her regular apologies. On paying the bill the manager/owner didn't seem to care that the food was bad. All he seemed to care about was punching in the amount of the bill into his till, and us pinging our card. We will not be returning or recommending to friends
