The best restaurants in England

Came here on a Sunday. Very convenient place next to the promenade. It was a very pleasant experience, the sun was out and the beer garden was the perfect place to relax out of the wind but still getting alot of the lovely sun. We also met the landlord who was very welcoming and friendly. Beer prices are very reasonable and a good selection on tap. We would be back maybe for some live music.

Proper traditional country pub. Very warm and professional staff. Food was very well cooked and tasty.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant, where both the service and the food exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the Chicken Burna was especially flavorful. The Samosa and rice were also delicious and made for a perfect meal. However, what truly stood out was the customer service. Muhammad went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable dinner. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made the experience truly memorable. He is a tremendous individual and a pure human, and his kindness really enhanced our visit. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Muhammad, for treating us wonderfully!

Booked Villa italia for a company night out. Sawbridgeworth has an Italian gem. Food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Marino and his hard working team did not disappoint. Thank you guys for an amazing night out. All my clients messaged me afterwards they had an amazing time.

Cracking fish and chips. Fish was large and fresh and the chips crisp, all piping hot. We sat in the window of the actual chippy and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

We loved the food, and the service was great too. They treated us to some cherries for dessert. to repeat, highly recommended

Wow…fantastic Sunday Lunch. I would say best in Herefordshire Amazing food so so good. Do book so you are not disappointed. , save room for dessert.

Stopped by Cardinals of Mayfair for a quick coffee and was genuinely impressed! The coffee was smooth, rich, and full of flavor—definitely one of the better cups I’ve had recently. You can tell they take their brew seriously. Great spot if you’re a coffee lover looking for quality. Will definitely be back to try more!
