The best restaurants in England

The Junipers and I cannot believe how amazing this cafe is, Oh we will be back! Now my Isa told me about 'The Tennis Cafe' and how the Girls and I should make it apart of our weekly cafe rotation, now after the absolutely divine afternoon we had I think you have become our new Monday cafe!! The beautiful young ladies working the cafe are so attentive and with how busy it is you'd think they'd be flabbergasted but no! Absolutely not! on the ball they were! what an amazing group to be looking after such a cafe!

A wonderful village pub with great food and real ales. We came for the pies and were not disappointed. We will certainly return

The new owners, Justine and Andy, have transformed this friendly village pub. They provide great meals at great prices as well as events such as music and quiz nights. We run a B&B nearby and lots of our guests have been there and provided good reports to back up our own experiences. Well done!

It's a popular bar with great bar staff. It's grew on me!

I can’t remember how or why I was here but I guess that warrants five stars. It may have been because I was using the car park in which case I’m really sorry 🤦🏻‍♂️

Very disappointing experience with our takeaway order which we collected from the restaurant (from the manager guy himself) - we ordered a garlic pizza bread and upon getting home and opening, we discover he’s actually given us someone else’s leftover pizza instead of our garlic bread. When we called the restaurant to let them know, the same manager answered the phone, and is unwilling to offer a refund and is quite stand-offish about it. Understand mistakes happen, but it’s the responsibility of the person in charge to make things right. Thankfully he handed the phone to another lady who was more helpful and agreed to refund the cost of the garlic bread. No other compensation offered even though we were given someone else’s meat pizza leftovers (we’re vegetarian). Especially disappointing as the garlic bread is actually very good and my kids were looking forward to it.

Very very delicious food, and the service is always super quick. The staff are so so kind, I think this place is underrated, highly recommend!! 🥹

love the Italian in chapel, shame they changed the spair ribs recipe, the original ones were much nicer

First time visiting here. Lovely place and very clean. We had gammon and a cheesy flatbread with chicken - couldn't fault the food, absolutely gorgeous!! Staff were friendly enough but I feel a smile or two would improve the welcome

Pad Thai and platter are awesome The dessert ‘fried banana with ice cream’ impressed me so much!
