Hemos estado aquí en familia varias veces y siempre tenemos una comida fantástica y aún mejor cuando te vas a casa con una buena bolsa de sobras. La verdadera cerveza se mantiene bien y siempre se sirve a la perfección. El personal es todo amable y un servicio rápido también.

More of a restaurant than a pub, however the beer and the food are wonderful!

We’ve been coming here for nearly 20 years and having curry here since it started over 11 years ago. It never disappoints! Despite it not being our local anymore, we love coming over from Birmingham; the curry is in our opinion, the best in the Midlands. Jane and the team are friendly and welcoming so it always feels like home to us ☺️

What a gem! We enjoyed delicious food, sat by a roaring fire. The landlady and other staff were all very welcoming and we loved the friendly atmosphere. We took a look at the massive garden area out at the back which must be a great place to sit on a summer's evening. We will definitely return when we are back in the area and would highly recommend it.

Disfrutamos de una deliciosa comida, nos sentamos frente a una fogata. La casera y el personal eran todos muy acogedores y amables, al igual que los lugareños que charlamos. Antes de salir echamos un vistazo al enorme jardín, que debe ser un gran lugar para sentarse y relajarse en una noche de verano. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra primera visita a este pub y sin duda volveremos a visitar cuando regresemos a esta zona. Muy recomendable!

Wow best Indian food I had have in a long time great prices will definitely be back

Qué comida tan fabulosa que tuvimos, probablemente la mejor comida que hemos experimentado. Los bhaji eran tan ligeros como una pluma y los curry eran sublimes. Solía frecuentar este pub en los años 80 y era tan encantador volver a un pub tradicional con la ventaja de la comida increíble. ¡Volveremos! Gracias.

Visito The Summerhouse con bastante regularidad y lo he hecho desde que Jane y Dave asumieron el mando. Visitamos de nuevo este fin de semana y como siempre, la comida era deliciosa y el servicio era excelente. Sin excepción, el personal es amable, acogedor y eficiente. Otra gran ventaja para mí es la selección de ‘ale reales’ que siempre son agradables porque se mantienen en muy buen estado. ¡Sigue así y gracias!

Llamado a la Casa de Verano hoy y como siempre tuvo una gran experiencia el fuego abierto se estaba quemando, gran par de pintas de cerveza enville con increíble pakora de pescado y cebolla Bhaji .. recomiendo una visita seguida de una copa de Malbec francés de calidad ... No puedo recomendar lo suficiente.

Vi esto como si estuviera en camino a los dardos. Entré, muy ocupado, pero me las arreglé para conseguir una mesa para mí y mi nieto mayor. La selección de cerveza fue genial. Teníamos Makhani, Chettinad, arroz, patatas fritas, keema naan, excelente. Gran precio también! Gran hallazgo.

The place is filthy looked under baskets with popadoms on them had black sticky residue on them. The glasses were dirty and a cat walking across the bar.. the hygiene needs too be addressed and service

Esta fue una noche familiar para una celebración de cumpleaños. La comida era increíble, tan fresca y deliciosa. Era un sábado muy ocupado por la noche, pero el servicio era eficiente y amable. Sin duda volveremos.

Nice place sadly let down by only having 1 ladies toilet

We had heard rave reviews and everyone is allowed their bad days but as soon as we walked in. The bar maid made us feel hurried and unwelcome all we asked for if there were any darker ales on tap. It was supposed to be my birthday meal after me and my boyfriend had been to the cinema. However we had one beer and went due to feeling unwelcome and hurried despite the place being quite quiet. Very disappointed and won't be trying again for a good while. The beer garden was nice and calmed our anxiety a little bit

Wandered in looking to grab some food on my gfs birthday from a place I've heard nothing but good about. However, the lass behind the bar, vociferously and voraciously chewing gum, was massively disinterested in us and looked in disdain at me when I asked if there were any dark beers on sale. Twas a Sunday afternoon/eve so we got one drink, sat in the beer garden, eyed the menu but then decided we've no urge to spend our money in a place that resonated such an ill air, and thus subsequently we left after one drink and grabbed a Chinese instead. Given we travelled from the town centre specifically to The Summer House and neither of us drive, we were both really unimpressed.

Wow i took my family here to eat today and boy what a meal i decided to have a bit of a mixture as not sure i would like it but i must say i have eaten in lots of Indian restaurants and this is top of my list the chicken tikka was soft and tender with the spice just right the onion Bhaji was amazing the best i have had in a long time salad fresh and crunchy the Shish kebab was extremely nice curry sauce spot on and the nan bread was amazing i can not put anything down it all was scrumptious and bar staff very helpful and polite and the young lady that brought our food was very pleasant too definitely going back so of you like Indian food this is definitely the place to try

Me puse en contacto con Jane hace un par de meses, ya que nuestra empresa deseaba organizar una reunión de la empresa y queríamos un lugar con un jardín de cerveza de buen tamaño, buena comida y cerca de la zona de Wolverhampton. La casa de verano cumplió con todos esos requisitos y luego algunos! El servicio que recibimos al llegar fue de primera clase, la comida se pidió un par de días antes ya que tuvimos que atender a 40 personas y todo llegó de manera oportuna y fue presentado magníficamente. El bar siempre estaba atendido por personal suficiente y no esperábamos mucho para obtener nuestras bebidas. También tenían un televisor afuera bajo el dosel que mostraba el fútbol en vivo y esto fue para el deleite de varios miembros del personal que deseaban ver el partido. He estado en Summerhouse en varias ocasiones anteriormente y confiaba en que volverían a entregar para una fiesta mucho más grande. Volveré pronto y creo que puede haber ganado varios clientes nuevos de nuestro lugar de trabajo!

Food's good drinks are cheap with a nice atmosphere - TV is a bit loud on match nights! Absolutely fantastic when you can sit out on a summer evening in the beer garden for a curry and a pint! Probably one of the best and most consistent curries I've had. - Still great food and service

Good flavorful Asian fusion cuisine. Service and staff were friendly and on top of it.

Generous portions. Flavourful food. Friendly staff and locals. Had a group business dinner so was able to sample a few dishes. Fish app was flaky and crispy. Lamb was very tender.

We hadn't visited the Summer House for sometime, but went there last Saturday with some friends. Got to say same great atmosphere, coupled with very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Food was absolutely delicious, we had fish pakora and the Nepalese noodle dish, together with the best cheese and garlic Naan EVER. Finally it was great seeing Jayne again, she made such a fuss of us. The Summer House holds many 'Special Memories' for us, and we had another one last Saturday. Just a shame we couldn't give it more than 5 stars.

Surprising little find trapsing the streets lol. Expected a 2 bar place , went outside and wow a lovely beer garden. Food was very nice and prices were good. Nice barman. Relaxing place

The bar person was a bit impatient to take our food order, I’d never been before and my mate hadn’t been for years so we needed time to check out the menu. The food came and was brought out by a friendly young Asian lady. The food was good and the same Asian lady checked on us later.

Enjoyed a lively evening of delicious Indian cuisine and dj music outside. There was a bit of trouble inside but nothing to worry about.

Great pub which serves authentic dishes from different areas of the world and a good range of ales to enjoy. We regularly eat here and it's well worth a visit

Nice food and friendly staff. The back garden is perfect to relax.

Although it was busy the friendly barman said a table would be available shortly so we had a drink and within a few minutes we were seated. Food was excellent with generous portions.

This is our local pub, so my family and I visit here frequently and we absolutely love it! The pub itself is a little gem, lots of character and a really good, warm vibe. The food is delicious, amazing flavours, very reasonable prices and great portions making it excellent value for money. The bar staff and kitchen/ waiting staff are all lovely and friendly and make a real effort with our kids. I don’t know the ladies name with the bun (waiting staff) but she is so friendly, warm and polite, always smiling and my kids think she is so lovely. Jacob is also a real asset to this place, he knows the table bookings like the back of his hand and makes the BEST cocktails (which are on offer)!!! Beautiful garden too which we look forward to sitting in during the summer. Can’t recommend this place enough honestly. We never enjoy our evening quite as much elsewhere. Thanks guys!

Best Indian / Nepalese food in Wolverhampton

It's a popular place but not for me.

Absolutely superb. One helping easily enough for 2 of you. Great cask beer as well if you order a takeaway and have to wait.Highly recommend.

Fantastic food, don't change a THING. Fish pakora are the best I've had - and massive portion size as well. Biryani was also incredible, everyone really enjoyed their food. We were a large party, you accommodated us really well, fast service, great food, can't ask for more. Would definitely recommend, and will absolutely be back.

FOOD PORTIONS ARE WAY TO SMALL AND PRICES HAVE GONE UP TOTAL RIP OFF .USED TO BE A GOOD PLACE.

All I'm going to say about this place is that it is Wolverhamptons hidden gem. the food is amazing, one of the best places for Indian/Nepalese food. The place was buzzing considering it was the first weekend of the new year. Just cannot say anything bad about this place, highly recommended, well done to Jane and her team.

We have been regulars at the summer house since we had the pleasure of discovering last winter it’s quite the hidden/unknown gem If you are looking for Indian food this is the place to go, consistently delicious, extremely good value for money with a friendly and attentive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Service has never disappointed, food is always fresh, delicious and served timely. Bar staff are fab- some of the friendliest I’ve come across There is a brilliant beer garden and they are super family and dog friendly It’s not a modern Uber slick spot but a real pub doing a great job with a lot of heart - I would 100% advise a visit

Unfortunately Sunday was a disaster, booked for 4.30pm pubs open from 3pm for food,nobody was in restaurant, that's when I knew food wasn't gonna be good,large mix grill lamb curry naan bread £43. curry was hot but meat wasn't fresh,fish Pakora was good everything thing else on mix grill was from day before, chicken tika sent back because it was warm chops terrible,

Absolutely great customer service from Steve. Very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at a drop of a hat! And Jacob makes a brilliant cocktail 👌 10/10

Overpriced, small grill, 2 naana which are small, and chips = £20+ c'mon. You are paying at least 80% more than before price hike. I've been to another wherre small grill is £12 and inc Lamb. These do not.

Food on this ocsassion was less than average £14 for 2 starters was ridiculous, 4 small pieces of fish pakora and 4 to 6 small pieces of tandoori chicken, really!! Rip off.

Great atmosphere, great ales and fantastic food

Group of us 14 had a beer or two and various currys. Excellent all round as usual! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Do you want a proper pub atmosphere? Do you want great beers and lagers? Do you want great ambience? Do you want fantastic home cooked food? Do you want great service? Yes? then this pub is for you. I went in on a Sunday afternoon to meet up with friends and have some of the wonderful Indian cuisine on off and boy was it fantastic, all home home cooked and delicious as always. we finding a table was not a problem and the staff are very attentive to customers needs they are a credit to the pub indeed. i have been visiting this pub since the 1980's and the place never ceases to amaze. best pub around without a doubt.

Five stars, absolutely the best curry in Wolverhampton. Highly recommended the mixed grill starter and the Chicken Lababda.

Easily the best grill in wolverhampton. The pub has fantastic beers on tap. Great service. We regularly travel 45min just to enjoy their food and atmosphere

We went last night, 7 of us. The food was excellent. Great mixed grill, lamb curry, lamb really tender. Murg Tikka Labandar was superb. Mixed veg curry. Will definitely be going back.

Great curry, stop serving food at 8

Came here today for mother's day, absolutely beautiful food, authentic, and prices are very reasonable. We were the only family in there in the restaurant side, which was so even better 😁 they even had a cocktail menu which had the nicest pornstar martinis available. Great customer service from the young lad behind the bar. Had a lovely time, 10/10 for whole dining experience. We will be going back soon 😁

Food was good . The order was mixed up .We wanted the starters first but the waitress brought the mains with the mixed Grill . She had to take it back to keep the mains warm .It would of tasted better if was brought latter .

Haven't been here for ages. And things haven't changed beer is spot on, Jane surly knows how to keep a pint. There chef is great which in turn makes the food great also. So an around a great little Gem.
