We visited Villa Capri for a Mothers Day evening meal. It was a first time visit for me and I was very pleased with the service and the food. A good menu with plenty of choices and good value for money. I will look forward to another visit in the near future.

The restaurant had been on my list to go to for a while and when friends suggested a night out eating, I booked here. What an outstanding evening we had! The restaurant has a great vibe. The menu is huge. The staff are so welcoming and attentive and an absolute credit to the restaurant. The food servings are very generous; in fact we had to convince, who I would think was the maitre d, that our friend couldn't finish his main, not because there was something wrong with it, he just couldn't finish the dish! And to the food ... incredible, fresh and super tasty. Fabulous. We will be back! Oh, and they have a great cocktail bar!

Food was ok but service was dreadful. Put in a corner table & basically forgot. 6pm booking which shouldn’t have been an issue, they need to employ more serving staff to reflect their prices. Pointed out our experience when we paid our bill & didn’t seem bothered.

Birthday celebration for party of 12 friends much enjoyed by all. Guests chose from a wide range of food from pasta, meat, fish, and vegetarian all much praised. The service is excellent, efficient but not at all obtrusive, and very helpful. 4 local guests who hadn’t been before have vowed to return. Many thanks to all for making a super evening.

We were taken to Villa Capri by friends from Warwick last night Following a warm and friendly welcome we were very taken with the comprehensive menu that made making a choice very difficult!starters of beef cannelloni were excellent and breaded veal scaloppine and clam and mussels pasta were just as good. Our friends equally enjoyed their selections The friendly staff contributed so much to the evening and I wish we were locals who could visit the restaurant more frequently! Many thanks

A lovely experience for Michael's birthday. The recommendation from several Braunston Bakers was spot on! Friendly but professional welcome, stylish and comfortable restaurant. We dined in the main restaurant with on nicely dressed table, seat by the window on a beautiful, sunny, Sunday afternoon. The Pinot Grigo was lively, bright citrus and almost creamy mouthfeel, we really enjoyed it, especially as we worked our way through our meals. I had the Insalata Caprese; generous slices of creamy mozzarella with fresh tomatoes on a bed of rocket on the plate dressed with delicious Balsamic and a basil pesto oil drizzle. Michael had the king prawns in a warm, creamy, Gorgonzola sauce. Both were excellent. I asked for a love calamari and Villa Capri's calamari was wonderfully, flavourful and the batter light, served with a well-balanced sauce, all lovely. My husband had the lemon sole dish. Again a generous, skillfully filleted piece of fish and he was blown away by the delightful lemon based sauce, served with asparagus spears. He finished his meal with a hazelnut, chocolate torte and hazelnut icecream. Every aspect was lovely, the staff attentive but not overbearing. We enjoyed it all, it felt like dining on the Italian Riveirea.

We paid our first visit to Villa Capri on February 20th and were extremely impressed. The service was exemplary, and all the staff members we encountered were welcoming. Our food was delicious, and we were delighted with our experience overall. We recommend it wholeheartedly, and will definitely return.

This was a really great experience having a dinner there. The food were highly out of our expectations and there were way enough portion for all of my family members. Other than that, the staffs were really nice and even mailed my missing hat to my house when I called them that I forgot the hat in the restaurant but I am out of the city now so couldn’t go back to get it.

This is a lovely, high class, clean and well laid out venue. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. We were quickly seated and given all the time we needed to review the menu and make our decision. There is an extensive wine list and a separate menu for other drinks and cocktails. There is a wide variety of delicious Italian dishes to choose from, with the vegetarian dishes highlighted. The food is not cheap but I was not disappointed when my courses arrived. The venue was busy in a nice atmosphere way but this did not affect the wait for food delivery, which was very efficient. The staff were smart and always on hand to offer service when required. There is on street parking outside which is meter controlled and car parks in walking distance. I really enjoyed our visit and will return again in the future.

Disappointing. Food was good but expensive but the surly unwelcoming manager would stop us from returning again. There are plenty of better Italian restaurants in Leamington that treat their customers better.

Sometimes you find a restaurant that you wish you had known about sooner. This was a fantastic experience, with great food and top-notch service. Hope I get the opportunity to go again.

Last night I attended Villa Capri with 16 friends and family to celebrate a 40th Birthday. The service was EXCEPTIONAL!! Every single member of the team was completely attentive to our needs and nothing was too much for them. As for the food... Outstanding! Whole heartedly recommend Villa Capri. Thank you for making our night so memorable.

Great Italian food and atmosphere. We ordered calamari fritti and insalata caprese which were served extremely fast as appetisers. The calamari had a great sauce. For the mains we had beef cannelloni and egg-shaped filled pasta with beef - both big portions and very delicious. The limonchelo cheesecake was very delicate and balanced - not too sweet, not too sour, and the warm walnut cake in combination with the ice-cream was a lovely dessert. We enjoyed the Christmas decoration at the lounge, the dim lighting and the romantic atmosphere. The brand new Christmas coctail was very pretty and had an interesting taste. The service was incredible - very polite and smiling staff. They took pictures of us, made us feel very special on our anniversary by giving us limonchelo on the house. Overall, we had a lovely night thanks to all the staff! Highly recommend!

My wife and I visited here after she had finished playing in a concert and, as in previous visits, it was very good again.For starters, we both went with the ‘antipasto con Profumo di mare’, the choice of my wife being the pan fried scallops and me the tuna tartare. Both were very good. For the mains, my wife went with the lemon sole served in a delicious sauce and me, the ribeye steak which was cooked exactly as I like it. We shared some sides of frites and green beans which added to both meals. As my wife was driving, she limited herself to a glass of sparkling wine and for me, it was a couple of glasses of the house Chianti. Overall, the meal was very good. Before finishing, I must mention two of the staff. One, Micah or Mike, was very personable and was open to receiving suggestions as to how, perhaps, to do something’s slightly different while the young waitress was very friendly and helpful. Did we enjoy it? - yes! Will we be going again? - yes!

We came here for Saturday lunch for my son’s birthday and were so delighted with our choice! The food was exceptional and one of us ordered from their delicious vegan menu. The restaurant itself looks lovely and had a really nice atmosphere. All of the staff were really attentive and friendly, thanks so much! Would definitely recommend a visit!

We had a fabulous 3 course lunch that included fillet steak, calamari, cannelloni and sides. The zucchine fritte were a pleasant delight being courgette spirals in a dusted light batter. Dessert consisted of Tiramisu and Affogato. Service was warm, friendly and efficient but not rushed. The owner greeted us on arrival and we were offered a complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal. We took the opportunity to take the steps up to the delightful stylish cocktail bar area ....definitely for the next visit !!

Always worry when a restaurant can’t cook a steak properly especially when the head waiter says “perhaps it spent too long on the pass!” No it spent too much time in a frying pan as it was burnt & med/well rather than med/rare! Chef’s that put blobs of mustard & balsamic vinegar with a random sprig of parsley on a plate as a garnish are usually not very good and Villa Capri has one! There was even a slice of lime on the Bistecca plate 😂 The crab and prawns in mayonnaise was a little underwhelming with more lettuce than anything else and that wasn’t even mentioned in the menu description which was very frustrating! Tiny little tasteless prawns and little crab meat if it was crab meat… I’d heard Villa Capri was good but expensive! I can assure you it’s not good but is expensive! Some of the table enjoyed their food but it was mostly pasta dishes! The service was ok but they didn’t know what everyone was eating for each course and, one of my biggest bugbears is cold plates! No attempt to warm them! I won’t be going back thanks Villa Capri!

Went here for a pre theatre early dinner. The food was amazing, so fresh and delicious. I had a beautifully presented starter. Followed by the spaghetti carbonara. Enjoyed a lovely cocktail too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this restaurant. First class.

The reviews, particularly of fish dishes, attracted me Of the 12 tables available at early dining, as a solo diner (take me less than an hour to eat and leave) I was left hanging at check in. Young server looked at me, looked at her list, eventually looked up at me and said ‘can fit you in, but you need to be out in an hour’. I confirmed that would be the case. Same server when I’m seated, do you want water still or sparking, I would like still please. I was bought me an entire bottle of still at £5.95 for one person, for a quick dinner. No …. Would you like a glass of water? Usual Rip off After looking down that same server nose at me for the duration, only paid any attention to me when I paid the bill! Strange that. Would not recommend upon that basis

Yesterday was my birthday and I had booked in advance to have a chance of celebrating this date with my favourite people in my favourite restaurant, well , was Iucky because I had everything but a great time . I had booked a table for 4 people at 6:30 and I brought my 4 months old baby to celebrate the day with me . This was apparently an issue that the restaurant was facing and I had to explain that we were 4 people at the table and the baby was only with us as she is still not able to get any food . The way that they accommodated the situation was poorly where I even heard the employee saying “ next time make us aware about the baby because it is not fair for the other customers “ with that being said , I would understand if this baby was creating any trouble or discomfort to anyone, but my baby was only in the stroller playing with some toys and at some point we carried the baby . My food , never came so quickly , in less than an hour we were in and out !we barely had a chance of having a conversation at the table and I felt they were rushing us to get us out of that place . I have been to many other restaurants with my baby and this was the first time that I have seen this type of behaviour against a baby. This type of unfair discrimination against families does not look well at places like this restaurant where you can see many families enjoying a pleasant meal. The food is loosing their standards . The employees don’t make you feel welcome and overall was a night ruined because of people don’t know how to respect other people. This used to be my favourite restaurant in town until yesterday , thank you vila capri for making us feel unwelcome.

Im really shocked about all the good reviews. Either people just dont know flavour or we ordered the wrong thing... The service was slow to begin with, the staff had such a stuck up vibe to them it wasnt a very warm welcoming place. The scallops were undercooked. The salmon penne was THE most bland pasta i have ever had, and way too much. It was literally just half a bag of pasta covered in cream. I wanted some salt to save it but there was none on the table... and at the time, didnt have the balls to ask because it felt like i would offend the staff. My partner had the nduja pasta, undercooked and just covered in tomato and oil. The pizza was bland and basic. The pasta didnt taste fresh either which i thought it would given that this place is meant to have authentic italian food. Overall, everything looked better than it tasted. Do not recommend.

We wanted to celebrate my son graduation. Food was good in general Service was very bad. After we finished eating, they brought us a totally different invoice! As soon as asked for the bill they kept mentioning that bill doesn't include Service charge!! Was not comfortable behaviour!

I did receive the wrong meal, but was quickly remedied, unlike other restaurants these days, they did refund my meal as my friends were nearly finished by the time mine arrived. Excellent customer service. I only downgraded this dining experience because it’s so hot in the restaurant, not because of the mix up. I think surely now after being open in Leamington for quite some time now, they could invest in some air con.

Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere - we dined here for our son’s Graduation celebration and we’re only sorry that in 3 years of visiting Leamington Spa this was the first time we’d been to this lovely restaurant! Good choice and attentive staff.

Lovely setting really friendly staff and very welcoming great selection of wines and food most of us had the lobster linguine which was so g plenty of lobster and a lo sauce with it great food cooked to a very high standard could not fault this place loved it

1st visit to celebrate our son's graduation at Warwick University. Glad we found Villa Capri as we had a lovely meal. The food, atmosphere and service was fantastic - one of the best meals had in a UK restaurant for ages - very nice Italian and not much more expensive than a lesser quality one. The staff are smartly dressed, friendly, efficient and are obviously well trained professionals. My wife has a reflux intolerance to onions, garlic, chives and acidic items like lemon. The staff took great care to help my wife explore the menu for the best options. The mixed antipasto was selected as a shared starter and the items my wife could not have were put on separate plate which still left plenty for her on the main platter (which was very extensive). My wife had the salt crust sea bass - came to the table encased in the crust and the waitress prepared it. My son and his girlfriend seafood pasta and lobster and prawn pasta. I had the pappardelle pasta with creamy chicken. We all enjoyed our meals selecting equally lovely tiramisu and panacotta for dessert

We had dinner here and service was really good. Bruschetta could be better because the bread was so wet. Calamari was great and the sauce was delicious. And they have wide selection of wines from Italy. Great place to enjoy dinner.

While this is a nice location and I saw loads of positive reviews, I can’t help but think that recently it has gone down hill? While the bruschetta starter was nice, both our main dishes were underwhelming at best. While the sauce for my lamb was tasty, the meat was either overcooked or it was poor quality. My friend’s duck was also seasoned inadequately. Finally for desert we had a tiramisu, which you would think from a well rated Italian restaurant would be good. However it was soggy and wet through and through, didn’t even finish it. Meh food quality paired with spotty service on a quiet night, with an expensive bill made the experience underwhelming. Don’t think we will be returning any time soon.

We went there for our anniversary, I think the place is good for both casual and special occasions. We had fried calamari, bruschetta, garlic mushroom, tuna steak and sea bass in salt and for dessert we had crostata di limoni (lemon cake) and tbh the dessert was the highlight of the dinner. Tuna steak was very good but I think tomato sauce made it a bit sour. Also for an Italian restaurant, the ambiance dont reflect it. Recommended for Leamington residents.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my Father in laws 90’s birthday. It was a halfway meet I’m point between those of us who live in the North and those from the South, so everybody travelled over 100 miles. Great care was taken selecting a good restaurant, pleased to say, we got it right. Everything was superb, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The 7 of us had a variety of dishes, from pasta, seafood to meat, all were superbly cooked and wonderfully flavoured. It was blindingly obvious that all ingredients were fresh. The food was authentic Italian and without doubt the best we have eaten outside of Italy. Cannot be faulted and would return in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the lovely meal.,

Beautiful fresh food! The food came swiftly, was nicely garnished and tasted fantastic. Would recommend the carpaccio, duck and tiramisu. The service was excellent, we never once had to top up our own wine glasses, this was done for us. Furthermore, the waitress was more than happy to give us some recommendations when we asked, this was really appreciated. Finally, the atmosphere was fabulous, the restaurant gave a comfortable dining experience, and it was lovely to see the restaurant full on a Monday evening.

Visited as a family of 6 for Father’s Day following a nice meal we had a year before, however, this time, I felt incredibly ripped off. I find it very difficult to find anywhere that caters for my son who is 3.5 years old and allergic to dairy and soya and on our previous visit to this restaurant they cooked him grilled chicken and chips, so we asked for the same again, when the bill came, they charged me £19.95 for 1/4 grilled chicken and £5 for a bowl of chips!!! His meal alone cost more than ANY of the nicer adult meals and not to mention as he is 3.5 years old, obviously didn’t finish his meal. I will not be visiting this restaurant again and think its absolutely disgusting that they thought charging £25 for a kids meal was okay!

Authentic food fabulous service friendly staff, beautiful ambience

Took a day trip to Leamington Spa & chose this restaurant for our 1st meal, it was a huge disappointment. The salad was good, we also ordered spaghetti with clams & mussels and lamb as 2nd course. The pasta quality was good, but the mussels had urine taste & not fresh, lamb was tough, not fresh & very salty. The most terrible thing was the attitude of the middle-aged waiter(had to point that out because other waiters were ok). When I reflected the mussels were not fresh & had a good intention to inform them to take a look & be mindful of it. He was so defensive and blatant to shout in my face how fresh they are & delivered everyday. Then I said it could be something wrong from the source, anyway he was so rude, we did not want to spend another pound there and had our dessert & coffee elsewhere. Food is mediocre & appalling attitude.

While the food may taste good, they use the same sauces across the dishes. We found hair in 3 people’s food in a party of 7, and on another occasion, because we were wearing cargo trousers, they told us they had no space to seat us, but when we called and asked for a table they were willing to give us one. They are very prejudice when serving, only serving middle aged people with respect and the hygiene is poor.

Everything about this restaurant is impecable and top notch. Safe to say that I had the best gelato here!!!

I was very pleased with this place. My three course meal of Parma ham, seafood pizza and pannacotta was truly among the best food I've ever had. I've also got to applaud quick service and kind and friendly staff that helped my great aunt with her mobility issues. I should stress this place is not cheap but for special occasions abd if you are looking for truly delicious authentic Italian cuisine I cannot recommend it enough.

There is something for everyone and the luxurious restaurant is large enough to serve both intimate meals for couples or a Company , Party , Family get together. We booked for an early dinner on a Monday evening and during our time at the restaurant all tables were in use and they were turning people away at the door! Service and food were excellent and we were very happy with our meal and the overall experience.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Prices to suit most pockets, from Pizza to Lobster. Portions fab, for all courses. Very busy, even on a Thursday night, so booking is advised. Very smart staff uniforms. Some meals plated at the table. Friendly, pleasant staff though we did feel that, as we weren't spending as much as other tables there, we were left a bit. All our meals were delicious quality though and they catered for vegetarian. Ladies toilets were fairly pleasant and clean. Coats are taken and hung up for you as you come in.

The food here is absolutely delicious and the service is excellent. So hard to choose what delicious meal to have. Highly recommended for having a nice meal out.

Very average. For main We had veal , which was bland and tough and liver which was over cooked and caked in sauce . The veg side was microwaved and dry - something I’d expect in a nursing home. The staff seemed in a real hurry to get us out. Our starter arrived before our drinks and we were done in less than an hour. I won’t be going back

A beautiful looking, classy restaurant and clearly very popular. We were visiting Leamington on an anniversary break and chose this restaurant after walking past. It looked very pretty and elegant. We could only get an early booking and the staff were delightfully welcoming and attentive until it got very busy with lots of groups who no all required a lot of attention and then we were left a bit longer than we would have liked. We offered the lobster linguine which was amazing and tasted delicious but my veal, which I love, was tasteless and bland and very disappointing. The panacotta which we shared for dessert was delicious. So a real mixed bag.

Friendly staff and experienced, food very well presented and very tasty. Definitely would go again. I was travelling 1h just to eat there based on the good reviews on GOOGLE. Not disappointed.

Loved it. Food was exceptional with good sized portions. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive, just good value.

I ate here with a couple of girlfriends just before Christmas. We had an amazing night. The staff are very welcoming. The restaurant was very busy, but still the service was excellent. The menu has lots of choice. My friend had the baked fish; we watched in amazement as the waiter skillfully served it. The potion sizes are generous. Cocktails were very good as well. The whole evening felt like a real treat!

Fantastic. A wonderful experience. I had the salted sea bream. The last time I had this never forgotten meal was in Florence but the Villa Capri was just as memorable. A whole fish expertly prepared at our table and beautifully presented. My wife chose the lemon sole and she was equally impressed. As good a meal as I have ever had in this country.

The evening started pleasantly enough. We were welcomed and had our coats taken, the drinks came fairly quickly and were ok. The food however was not. We were advised to order one set of scallops because we had ordered too much already….these arrived and were undercooked, my hunger convinced me that they were pleasant. The mains were not good. My girlfriend and I were approached by two members of staff, one wielding a giant pepper grinder and the other with a bowl of Parmesan. This was clearly to add some flavour to two bland main courses. My dish was a row of ravioli covered in oil and tomato purée, resulting in crippling heartburn. My girlfriends was penne salmon as corrected by the waiter; how dare she ask for salmon penne! Hers was just as bland and was covered in a mystery yellow sauce, it’s safe to say she was not a happy woman. We also ordered pizza that was ok but nothing more than that, I could order better for cheaper from just eat. Value and taste were a let down, I am bitterly disappointed truth be told.
