Aroma Cafe in Warwick

Visited yesterday for a snack lunch. Only one other couple in there, once we had looked at the menu we could see why. The food was fine, not amazing but fine, but the prices have gone up massively! Haven’t been for a while & I understand the cost of living crisis & food has gone up in price but I think at the prices they are charging they won’t be there for much longer which is a shame.

Hidden Gem in Leamington! Don't judge a book by its cover – this cosy cafe/bar tucked away on a side street in Leamington might seem unassuming from the outside, but step inside, and you'll find yourself in a delightful oasis of character and charm. Despite being a small establishment, the service here is top-notch. Even with just one person, presumably the manager or owner, handling both serving and cooking, the service was prompt and attentive. As for the food, it exceeded our expectations! Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection made our breakfast a delightful experience. The portions were generous, especially the big breakfast, which left us more than satisfied. Overall, I can't wait to return to this gem of a place. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cosy spot with great food and service in Leamington. I'll definitely be back for more!

Visited Aroma Café & Tapas bar for breakfast Sunday morning after a night out on the Saturday, there was a very authentic feel! Best breakfast in the town, we loved this place, we would even drive the 30 miles from home just for the breakfast. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. So no complaints from us. will certainly be back.

Wow! Fabulous place! Eye-catching, lots going on but everything in the right place; details, stylish, creative and well thought, you can imagine what's going in the owner's mind, just love it!! Yet, fantastic food, everything so tasty and so well presented!! It is definitely great experience but if you are usually fast food stop off, may not be for you; you pay what you get!!

A very pleasant meal. We had a late lunch here and the food was very well made with some nice milkshakes. Benches with cowskin covering were an unusual and nice touch - although being the dad I was relegated to the wooden chair rather than the nice bench.

I entered about 11.00...i was the only customer...the coffee was lovely...the decor was eclectic... anything the management liked was added and stuck on the wall...it's a bit off the beaten track ...but I would definitely come here again...

Food was bad and very bland. The place looked cute from outside so wanted to try it. I only tried some tapas and it was too expensive for what you get, they give you bread and salad for each tapas to justify the price I guess while the tapas itself is just ingredients thrown together with no cohesion or condiments.

Didn’t like the Greek salad - sweet dressing and ingredients weren’t very fresh. Coffee was nice. Service needs work - the waiter removed my partner’s plate when I was in the middle of eating - rather rude.

Sadly they increased the pricing to astronomical amounts, I’m not sure what world you think £14 for a breakfast is fair. Won’t be coming back sadly, was a regular before the massive price hike

Called in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly. Very clean. food was nicely presented and tasty. Also at proper pot of tea. Highly recommended ++

Great spot hidden away down a Leam back street

I’m not really sure if this place even deserves 1 star! Overpriced food, lack of flavours and imagination! It was the worst omelette I’ve ever had, not mention bacon, you need it an industrial cuter to go through it ( hard and overcooked) Baba ghanoush - well… diced eggplant with skin on without any flavour! £14!!!!!! Advice to the owner, watch some videos about how to cook, have some interest in cooking, discover flavours ( at least salt and black pepper- basics) and declutter the space. It is not Italian style ,in fact it’s not style at all, only old garlic, onions and empty wine bottles….CAFE AROMA SHOULD BE CALLED THE WORST CAFE IN LEAMINGTON SPA!

Amazing tasty breakfast. Such a nice ambiance and flavourful food. It's a bit pricey, but the food tasted amazing.

What a find! We love Tapas food and the Aroma Cafe didn't disappoint. The quality, variety and portion sizes were second to none. The service was truly excellent, we cannot fault the venue on anything! Will definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely go back.

Really tasty food and well presented. The coffee was amazing too. The staff were friendly and really look after us. The atmosphere was really nice. We loved the decoration it make us feel we were on holidays. We definitely come back.

Simply the best. I no longer live in Leamington but every time I go to visit my parents we go and have lunch in Aroma. The food is excellent, plenty of options for those with different dietary requirements. I can't recommend this place enough, a real hidden gem.

I am really sorry to write a negative review because I would really like to support local independent businesses. On the positive side, the food was very tasty, piping hot, and made with very fresh ingredients. The staff were pleasant and the decor rustically quirky. However, I think the food is ridiculously overpriced, especially for a cafe and especially for lunchtime eg £12.50 for soup, £17 for a pizza, £9 for a dessert. The building was also very cold. I’m afraid we won’t be going back.

Ordered 2 cappuccino NO CHOCOLATE, repeated this 4 times to the waitress And yes first one came with CHOCOLATE!!! Also ordered 2 bacon & Sausage sandwiches Paid £12.20 Sandwiches came smothered in spinach leaves and toasted 2 of the smallest pieces of bacon I have ever seen & ONE SAUSAGE cut in half Half way through this the waitress returned demanding another £6.10 and stated she had under charged!!!!!!! This was followed by the VERY RUDE CHEF I will contact trading standards on Monday & Warwickshire County Council to make formal complaint. As prices should be clearly displayed

Decided to try this cafe at the weekend as it seems very popular. On first impressions, the cafe was busy and we were directed to a spare table by one of the young waitresses. Checked the menu, £13.99 for a standard breakfast seems over the top in comparison with prices offered in similar establishments in the area. Coffee was very good, and the food came presented on a big platter which made it look impressive - when in reality it was just a standard portion spread out on a rectangular plate. It was tasty and nothing to fault on that front (apart from being overpriced!), however the service was really lacking. The waitress got the bread order wrong (not a big deal), and the overall impression was that we had 3 teenagers huffing around, sitting down on their phones, talking to their mates or just standing around chatting rather than looking after their customers or cleaning/re-setting tables. One was chewing on the sleeve of her hoodie while loudly dragging her feet across the floor, slightly off-putting when you are trying to eat and rather unhygienic! In terms of hygiene, the toilets were far from clean, and could have benefitted from a good scrub... Overall, the poor service and pricing lets the place down sadly and there are better cafes in Leamington.

What an amazing place. Quirky décor that really appeals to my craving for "something different" The coffee is delicious. The Croque Madame was fabulous.

Popped in yes for a coffee with a friend decided I wanted something to pick on my friend said she wasn’t hungry so I decided to order a tapa of Spanish garlic prawns came promptly on a large tray with sides of salads and lovely small potatoes food was amazing looked amazing so much so my friend couldn’t help herself and we shared it! There was probably enough for 3 to share beautiful place can’t wait to return 👍😍

Really good food always. I asked for decaf coffee but I know I didn’t get decaf but that night I was awake until 3am and the following day was ruined. The place needs a good dusting, there are cobwebs all over the place. Because of the dusty environment and the wrong coffee order, it feels overpriced if you’re only going for coffee.

Lovely atmosphere and good service, poached eggs a bit watery and tasteless. Would however give them another go, keen to try the tapas.

Quite frankly one of the best brunches I have ever, ever had! Veggie breakfast with eggs, beans, toast, tomatoes, grilled halloumi, hash browns, sweetcorn fritters, mushrooms & spinnach. I just wish I lived closer to Royal Leamington Spa. If you're around, make sure you pop in for a brew. Besides the fab food the whole place has a fabulous individual eclectic vibe and the coffee us excellent.

Polite and friendly staff, absolutely fabulous food, great menu plenty of tapas, pizza, brunch and salads.. We throughly enjoyed our Tapas..great value for money..I would highly recommend a visit..

This is a lovely cafe, tucked away on Bedford Street - you could easily miss it, which would be a shame as it's charming. Service is friendly and prompt. There is good wifi (on request) and the food is very good. I had eggs benedict, I requested a vegetarian option, and the chef kindly offered me a choice of tomatoes and mushrooms instead of salmon or bacon. I followed this with a lemon crepe. Latte with oat milk was very good . I think I paid £22, which is good value, for the portions were ample. I had some work to get on with, and stayed for quite a while, and didn't feel there was any pressure on me to pay up and leave once I'd finished my food. A very cool cafe.

I hate giving negative reviews for independent businesses but unfortunately they didn’t leave me with much of a choice. The place itself is nice and different and the food is average. My main issue though is that I have no idea how can you justify charging £14 for a hummus tapas, at a cafe, even if it is served with bread and salad. The slightly “fancier” tapas such as garlic prawns were not much better as the garlic (which it had A LOT of) was bigger than the prawn!!! Same applies for other items on the menu (cheese and ham baguette for £14??!!) or salami, feta, cherri tomato etc platter for £36!! . This was our first visit to this cafe and definitely the last

Finally decided to try this place and we were so glad we did. A nice quiet and relaxing atmosphere, superb food with generous portions and good coffee. Will definitely go again to try the tapas or breakfast.

Cute little place, walked passed so many times and finally went in today with a friend. Had 3 tapas - meatball, aubergine and prawns, came with a bowl of salad, potatoes and very delicious bread. Quality food, but the staff was checking in too often for order and clearing dishes even there's no customers waiting for table.

Super bad service with no room to complain. When I complained about a dried and hard pancake, I got schooled that I should eat the pancake immediately, rather than I finished the main dish. The worst thing is the staff didn’t apologized at all and kept arguing I didn’t eat pancake on time since I spent time to chat with my partner……. Keep giving me a lesson how cafe serve food compared a restaurant. We complained after finished food, just wanted them to do it better in the future. Paid the bill and just want to stop the dispute.

Went for a lunch, food was really tasty. We had the 3 tapas dishes between 3 adults and it was a nice portion size for a lunch. Not the usual tapas as would expect of several small plates, more like side dish portion sizes and 1 tapas is over £12, very pricey. Although this seemed to be the theme with breakfasts, Panini and sandwiches also at this price point. Whilst food quality is good there are lots of cafes and restaurants locally that offer this at lower prices. It was very busy and service a bit slow. It is quite small but cosy, lovely decorated. I would suggest booking. Overall would return, it has a lovely atmosphere and the food was great but would probably only be for special occasions or a treat.

Menus lists as Tapas but full lunch portions accompanies by lovely Salad, diced sautéed potatoes with onions and superb warm ciabatta bread with topping. On previous occasions have also appreciated their breakfasts and coffee. A little gem, with a quiet welcoming ambience.

Stumbled across this quirky little cafe to get some takeaway coffee & ended up going back for brunch. Great decor & very friendly staff greeted me. I had eggs benedict, perfectly cooked, the best I have had in a long time. Coffee was very good too! Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

We went here for breakfast on Sunday morning and sat out of the front of the cafe, which is basically on the pathway but nonetheless, it was a nice day! The service was very friendly, prompt and attentive from the start, and ended up being such a lovely start to our day! My partner and I had the Kaiser Benedict (with salmon) and the Eggs Benedict (with bacon), a fancy coffee and a tea. The benny’s came out with sourdough bread (yum!), actual poached eggs, and lovely sauce and herbs! My partner was a bit thrown off by his coffee having ice cream in, but he should have read the description! My breakfast tea was great though! All in all, a lovely experience, and lots to take in as this cafe is filled floor to ceiling with different interesting items which add a lot of character! The ONLY thing is that it is a little on the pricey side when compared with similar local cafes! Recommend!

Food was average and upset my stomach. Waitresses were unorganised and served others before us even though we were there first. Two waitresses took our order whilst giggling and laughing and she was degrading her handwriting in front of us. They then went off and we didn't even get our coffees until half an hour later after we called one of them up about it and she forgot the order... Was awful and food was slow and average and didn't even apologise or offer us discount for their awful service. Not going back.

Average breakfast food - I found small pieces of egg white in my plate in spite of clearly mentioning I don’t want any eggs. Took more than an hour to serve so quite slow (though they apologised for the slow service). Charged extra just for swapping bits in the breakfast - which was strange and not mentioned. I’ve been here before and had a good experience. But this visit wasn’t nice at all.

Used this little gem for two years but unfortunately the last time we used it the servi ce was terrible, ordered two Tappas and they came with one salad and one potatoes and exactly the same size as when ordered for one, when we questioned it we were told its to share... Err no your ripping your customer off.Very expensive and grumpy guy who use to smile and make you feel welcome, won't be using again.

The cafe its self is great, quirky bits and bobs on the walls, colour scheme in the toilets ...seeing is believing ! The food was very good when it eventually arrived, service was soo slow.

Best coffee in Leamington, Eggs Kaiser also my favourite. Full English is legit. Not been in the evening, but for brunch with the missus, it's a winner. Will try and get a takeaway sometime, hopefully that will be done as well as their eat in offering.

We came in with my family, ordered a "plain sausage sandwich" (which was for our autistic brother) and two full breakfasts. The order came out and it was not as we ordered. Therefore, we kindly asked to send it back for a plain sausage sandwich...

Great atmosphere, lots of space and lots of interesting curios on the walls. Good food. Perhaps could be cheaper, especially as it's not on the high street. Too bad it's out of the way, more people should experience this place.

Gorgeous little cafe! They have a great range of food for Vegetarians, and are also very happy to alter any menu items, for specific requirements. Always really clean plate of food, nothing to moan about!
