Morland Fish & Chips in Sedgemoor

Use to have regular deliveries. As was only one that would deliver to us. As driver was leaving I noticed drinks were missing. Tried to catch him but couldn’t so rang the store. Told me they were closing so would bring tomorrow. Said that no good. Said would bring them back same day. Nothing. No call no apology no refund for missing drinks. Called the phone number several times. No help at all. Never again.

Bad service and low quality with staff and in store. Went on the 24th of November 2024, will have to go elsewhere next time

We were all feeling unwell so decided to order a chippy tea, I wish I hadn’t bothered. The pies were microwaved so much they were so hard you couple cut them. The saveloy was stone cold and full of water. I ordered a large chips and barely had a regular sized portion. Chips were ok but I certainly would rather not use them again.

Really good fish and chips. Local to where i was staying and filled the gap when i was hungry. Would eat here again if i pass

I never complain about a food place but I am going to! Moorlands fish and chips. Mainly the one in Burnham. I ordered a delivery from there on Saturday and when it was delivered (about 15 minutes early) there was a missing drink. Ok not a problem, I phoned them and they said they would deliver one out to me. Great! It took about an hour for it to be delivered. Ok they could have been busy no problem. When me and Louie sat down to eat our food just after I had made the phonecall our food was stone cold! I had to reheat it before we could eat it. So again I phone them to say to them that the food was cold. All I got was abuse over the phone, they insisted the food was piping hot, it wasn’t I had a saveloy which felt like it had been kept in a fridge. Told me I was wasting their time and they slammed the phone down. So I phone the Highbridge branch and a lovely young lady tried sorting it out for me. She phoned the owner and said he would phone me back. No phonecall back, I phone yesterday and spoke to her again and yet again she said if the owner didn’t phone by last night I was to phone today. I phoned and spoke to the owner, well I was so shocked, the rudeness again, he said there was no way the food was cold that I was not allowed to order food from there again, they would not serve me etc etc etc. Then slammed the phone down after him hurling abuse at me AGAIN! I phone the Highbridge shop and again I had abuse hurled at me, the guy on the end of the phone stood and laughed about it all. I left a review on just eat and I have read the other reviews, there are so many people complaining that their food is cold and get abuse hurled at them through a reply from the owner! The customer service is absolutely disgusting! DO NOT GET FOOD FROM MORLANDS FISH AND CHIPS!
