Stopped here after a walk around the reservoir for a quick cream tea. We sat outside as we have a dog but it was dog friendly indoors too. Staff were extremely friendly. Cream tea was lovely and all very fresh with beautiful china tea pots. We would definitely recommend. It's also a great place for people watching in the square.

The reviews sounded great but we were shocked by the prices compared to all our local bakeries. This places wants around Ā£2 for a basic cake. And they were all in small portion sizes. Sandwiches/subs Ā£3.50 and didnāt look worth it. Sausage rolls nothing to write home about. Tasteless meat without any seasoning. Cakes tasty enough in the end but not impressed with size or cost. High cost quite surprising given that Highbridge appears to be quite a poor area.

We arrived on a rainy Monday night after a wet and weary walk from Weston. We were given a warm welcome and the pizzas were absolutely awesome. We'd definitely be regulars if we lived locally.

Lovely tearoom with a superb selection of homemade cakes! Served by a very friendly lady. Lunch and breakfast offerings looked excellent.

Absolutely love Cafe Karma, but this was my first time trying their food and it certainly didnāt disappoint. The French Toast was 10/10, and quite possibly the best French toast Iāve had! Lovely atmosphere and decor. Staff are also wonderful.

Popped into Taart for lunch whilst on business in the area. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the service was friendly and with a huge smile. I had the takeaway hash box (minus spinach) and it was delicious, roast potato, bacon, egg and beans all cooked to perfection and very tasty. I will definitely use Taart again when I'm in the area.

My good friends took me for a surprise 50th Birthday afternoon tea at Dusicake. Oh my, what an experience for the senses! The setting is a vintage wonderland, with bold colour, velvet furnishings and bold chinz. The experiment is one of pure decadence and oozes luxury. For me Dusicake have thought about every little detail, from pretty china, vintage inspired gem adorned cutlery, gorgeous cake stands, topped off with divinely crafted cocktails. The staff were friendly, fun and beyond helpful doing everything they could to make sure we had the most wonderful day. The food is exquisite, delicious, and so beautifully presented. We go on many afternoon teas and we felt Dusicake was head and shoulders above the rest. The presentation was magnificent and the flavours left us wanting more. Go and you will be talking about the experience for years to come.

This restaurant is a little gem š The food was absolutely beautiful! We had the chicken thigh for starters and we both have said since that we canāt stop thinking about it as it was SO good. I had the Ragu which was simply stunning and my partner had the Nduja, he was full of praise for it. Great service, and all round brilliant night! We will absolutely be back - we often travel to get a decent Italian meal, I canāt tell you how chuffed we are that we finally have one in our hometown.
