What a discovery. After 15 yrs in Bridgwater and fairly average Indian food, tonight was my first experience of The Indian Cottage and it was superb. Really recommend this place, the food was delicious and the service was excellent

This Indian knocks spots off the local Indian where we use to live. i Every meal that we have ordered has always been piping hot, never tasted or been dry on repeat orders. Very friendly to speak to when ordering. Amazing food, brilliant service. We can't fault this Indian in any way. They certainly know how to cook and get the food to the customer hot. Would recommend this Indian without a doubt.

I was blown away by the food good quality and great for the price I went for the Lamb Jalfrezi and it tasted amazing would highly recommend this very similar if not better than most Indians like the spice gallery or the chadni or the zalsha or even Hussain’s if you want a good curry definitely order from here

I'm a regular here for good reasons. Always greeted with a very warm welcome and today I arrived 30 mins before scheduled opening time but the door was unlocked for me. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and well cooked. I can thoroughly recommend the tandoori mixed grill although having tried most of their dishes cannot fault one. I always ask for mine to be extra hot and it is. This has to be the number 1 Indian takeaway in Bridgwater if not the south west of England . Thanks guys

We tend to buy various dishes and put some in the freezer. This take away has been consistently excellent since it opened as The India Cottage (not the curry leaf). Keep up the great work.

Never used this takeaway before. And wow what a gem we found. We live in a village and sometimes food isn't as hot but this was piping hot and tasted amazing. Will definitely use again.

ordered home delivery last night came within an hour , piping hot and loads of it so much that we can have it again today

We ordered takeaway and it came within about 30 mins. I had a chicken madras and it was very good. Nice and tasty and a good amount. We also ordered a chicken rogan Josh, rice and garlic naan. All was great. We will definitely order from here again!

We’ve been using this establishment for our curry ‘needs’ for many years. Never had a bad one in all that time. They changed hands last year and became India House with new personnel at the helm. They deliver too by the way!

Great service. Ordered the set meal for two. It would easily feed four lol. Onion Bhakti veg samosa pappadum chicken T massala rogan josh vegetables special fried rice chutney. At £22.95 excellent value. All was hot and well cooked and flavoursome. Cannot fault food, service or premises. Will be returning

Special chilli garlic chicken extra hot and pilau rice mmmmmm. Very professional attentive staff. Asked for it to be extra hot and it was. Truly superb and no side effects in the morning lol. It was even delivered to the car by a very polite young man. The place is very clean . You are not rushed into ordering. I was told it would be a wait of 15 mins and they were spot on. Delicious hot tasty food. Thank you. Will return.

Had a great Take-Away from here on Christmas Eve, first time using this place and very impressed. We had 2 classic Indian dishes that were exactly as you’d hope and 2 chef special dishes that were excellent. Rice, naan and sundries also on the money. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Always good food from curry leaf. Been going here for takeaways for over 2yrs. Really competitive prices compared with other takeaways, always arrives when they say or even earlier than stated.

Always good food. Full of flavour and well priced. Would never get a takeaway from any where else now, I have and its been no where near as good. 😊

Comida exuberante! Tuve un pollo tikka masala pollo y fue hermoso y agradable tierna y la salsa estaba lleno de sabor! Todo fresco y caliente en la entrega. Muy buen precio, ofrecen un 10% de descuento en su orden si su recogerá lo cual es ideal si su alrededor de la zona. Sin duda vamos a hacer que este sea mi ordinario India!

Have now been here twice, and both times have been impressed by the friendly service and great food, the staff are attentive and listen and advise on your choices, and if something is not on the mention i.e maybe something you have had at another curry house they will try and cook it for you. the prices are some of the cheapest in town and portion sizes are good. if there is a negative its that the waiting area could do with a restyle as tatty sofas and poor quality lighting do not do it any favors. another plus point though is if you pay with cash and the bill is over £10 you currently get 15% discount making it even better value so give it ago
