Ordered whilst on holiday. At around 9.30pm and got told it would arrive by 22.40 latest..... then it changed to 22.55.... then I rang resteraunt at 23.20 for them to lie to me and say I gave them the wrong address . And I didn't give them a contact number ect when it is all there on my account . I even wrote on the notes to call me when at the caravan park and I will come to the dates. Guy lied to me on the phone. Contacted just eat for a refund

The food is delicious but, sadly, its downfall is the manager who lacks a friendly, warm attitude. If awards were based on this they wouldn’t win any awards. Hence they are popular for takeaways.

Heard a lot about this place and wow it did not disappoint. Good was amazing, great flavours and portions were of a very good size. Would highly recommend, will be back for more!!

This is absolutely fantastic really authentic and tasty I had a takeaway delivered. It's really hard to find authentic and tasty Currys these days but this place did not disappoint. I will definitely be back

Really appreciate the customer service. Had an unfortunate delivery situation as someone else took our food, this was annoying for us as we had just paid for food and unfortunate for the business however, they kindly re sent us our meal and handled the satiation very professionally. Food was 10/10

Great place to go and eat with friends. Food is good, atmosphere is warm and friendly. Would recommend if you are in the area. Been back recently (2023) great place still. Food, I am sure is better than before. The front of house manager is friendly and funny. (update) hey have just a noun Ed on their Facebook page that they are now serving alcohol

Food was ok, I really appreciated the free poppadoms and dips. Delivery driver (a young man) was one of the politest and friendliest people I’ve ever met and is a credit to this restaurant.

Great service and the food was excellent especially the garlic naan.chicken madras and pilau rice.could not fault the service, but we were the only customers at 1700 on a Sunday. My wife had chicken chetinad and she said it was the best curry ever.

On holiday in the area and thought we would try somewhere at random. We were not disappointed! Everything cooked to perfection with some amazing tastes to the dishes. The only criticism is that they don’t deliver to our home 180 miles away. An easy recommend.

The food and service here is great, I had the butter chicken which was wonderful, and they are very accomodating of any non standard requests. The bad bits - DO NOT INFER ITS BAD FROM THE LENGTH, ITS JUST A RAMBLE The phone used for deliverys was rather active and loud, as the reasurant is one large room and the phone is behind the bar. I pointed politely this out, after I had to knock on the kitchen door as all staff were back there and the phone had been ringing for a solid minute in an otherwise quiet and empty resturant. The waiter/barman was very apologetic and gave us some freebies which in my eyes more than made up for it, I imagine its just not been said to them before. The other thing was the sexism. It wasnt the overtly brash and mean kind, more just a culture difference I was told, but all questions concerning if the food was ok, if we wanted coffees, payment ect were borderline forcefully targeted at myself, not my female companion. As in polite eye contact without so much as acknowlaging my dining companion. We both saw the humour in it and I am sure no offense was meant, In fact I tested. I was always intending to pay for the meal, but suggested that my female companion should go up and pay with her phone and I would transfer her later, and when she did, she was met with the same curtious service I had had all evening. Just something I think for both diners and the bussiness owners to be aware of. If thats the intended atmosphere then fair enough, but I think you may find people choosing other establishments if ladies do not feel welcome. Now the good bits legit everything else. Food was great, we were quite close to the kitchen and I couldnt hear any shouting or radios or clanging as is sometimes common, aside from the oddities above the service was excellent, and they even tried to refuse my tip, showing in my eyes at least a level or respect and accountability rarely seen in a mid range indian in a sleepy town. Food for two including popadoms, drinks and a shared rice was £37 which seems pretty standard for a mid range meal for two at the moment. I will happily return in the coming months, perhaps at a busier time (I was there at 6pm on a wednesday) to see if the standards are maintained under pressure.

Wasn’t awful, wasn’t amazing. Pakora oily and flavourless. Biryani was wet and unlike any Britain I’ve had before. Lamb chops delicious and would have again.

so firstly, the food was the usual excellent standard that Mint Bay usually supplies. unfortunately tonight, delivery was approx 45 mins late and communication was not great, in total thee delivery times were missed. owner was very apologetic, but we're just a little disappointed.

Delivery came in good time (wasn't expecting on time due to being in weston) but surprised it got here on time! Food was good, large portion sizes. slightly annoyed paying £2.50 for 1 chapati - was expecting at least two. otherwise, would eat here again.

Been ordering takeaway from here for the past 6 months always been very friendly and prompt, Placed an order this evening and again very happy with the service even got some Bombay potatoes on the house! On the whole Tikka Masala was very disappointing chicken was overcooked and the sauce was bland, I don’t know what has changed but something has, Really disappointed ☹️

We were really looking forward to our tikka masala. However when we began eating it, was very salty and spoiled the whole meal! This is the first time we’ve eaten from Mint Bay and have heard great reviews. We were quite disappointed. We ordered pilau rice too but what arrived was a white vegetable rice instead? It didn’t look like the picture of pilau rice advertised and weren’t informed of any changes.

Tried the mint bay wrap, very very nice,lots of chicken and flavour.

Me and my husband had our Anniversary dinner here at Mint bay Indian Cuisine. All food we’ve ordered are delicious and very reasonable priced, venue is small but cosy and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be dining here again soon.
