Had a lovely time here food great and tasty , service spot on. Great value for money we had the banquet . Fan dabby dosy.

Staying overnight on business, the receptionist recommended the Spice Club for a delivery meal. Order placed direct through the web site (discount given) at 17.09 and arrived at 18:04. Ordered a tandoori mixed grill, tarka daal, veggie rice and a roti. Food was still hot even after a long wait and tasted fantastic. Will definitely eat from here again

Mixed tandoori grill, rice and a side, delivered within 30 mins. Everything very tasty and meat spiced just right and tender. Will come back again, super food and great service

Ordered takeout of fish and chips. Was just warm when arrived. Fish was like you would buy on the frozen department in supermarket we asked for chips not fries. Bloody awful. And very expensive for what we had . Won’t use them again

Ordered a delivery. Arrived on time but omg... stale papadoms & chewy. Mint yoghurt sauce thin and bland. Chicken tikka starter tasted tough and rubbery like a piece of chewy pork. Refried chips greasy cold and horrible. Chicken madras sauce cooked from frozen, I would see how watery the dish was and the chicken had clearly been added after the sauce was made so no marinating. Mushroom pilau rice about 1 mushroom diced up between two portions of rice. Very disappointing and three customers lost due to this.

I ordered an onion cucumber raita. Which comes in big pieces. I have never ever eaten this kinda raita. Also, they added sugar to it. I would suggest you choose another option if they have one.

The best place we know...we come back again and again ..can't beat the quality !!

1. we have been going here for years, me and my family come for most family birthdays and celebrations etc. so we have a high standard from the beginning as it has always been lovely and look forward to going back. however tonight we went for my mum’s birthday and we have left completely disgusted. 2. the service wasn’t what it normally was. they were blunt and rude and were clearly trying to hurry us along, they normally take their time through the ordering process and this is what makes it feel more luxurious being able to have long conversations inbertween. however we had our drinks and got our usual popadoms. through coming here for years we know the things that they have clearly cut out. for example they had nice thick napkins that were good quality, but now just the toilet paper feeling ones. 3.not even 5 minutes into our popadoms they got starters from us and again within 5 minutes this was out to us. which indicates it cannot be freshly cooked! 4. as we were still eating our starters one of us finished and a server came and took the plate from him, we were all still eating and found this very rude as though they were trying to hurry us out. also we didn’t receive the normal sauce and dips with our starter leaving it to be dry and tasteless. 5. ever since we have been going here they have brought out hot plates that keeps the food nice and hot! but this time they have not done this and the plates were freezing, which in turn made the food cold from the bottom. in the start the food arrived to the table cold and was not enjoyable, the chicken in my dish was chewy and was just too cold, by the time it got on the plate it made it more cold. 6. next was dessert, you get the option of ice cream or a coffee. my mum asked for the ice cream and it was plain whereas they used to ask if you wanted sauce, i fact the table next to us had sauce on theirs. 7. after dessert when you get the bill, you get a little chocolate, and normally a liquor at the end, we did not receive this, and the chocolate was chocolate orange which is a definite prefference, for example i was the only one that it didn’t make feel sick. For the amount of money this place has increased by it has decreased in service and quality. for the banquet that we have always had it has been 10 pound a head and now 17pound a head which is extortionate. i understand cost of living but this is taking too many cut backs. the hot wet wipe we get was hotter than the curry!’

Waited for 20 minutes without our order being taken, didn’t even get asked if we wanted a drink. Left and went elsewhere. Very disappointed. Won’t be going here again

Absolutely amazing!!! I need to be here more! Our food was delicious. We were served pretty quickly considering how busy spice club was. Our servers were lovely and polite. The food was reasonably priced too. A nice hidaway place where we felt comfy and welcome.

This restaurant should be shut down immediately! The toilets are filthy, urine all over the seats and pan has not been cleaned for days. Looks like poo over the walls! Thick dirt around the taps and entry doors covered in, goodness knows what. If the toilets are like this, what are the kitchens like! Going to send pictures to food hygiene officer.

Grim grim grim. Chicken undercooked, rice drier than the sun and burnt naan. Poor service and dirty inside also. Avoid.

First time having curry in here. I enjoyed the meal. However, I would order differently and add a few more bits. The service was good, quick, and efficient, especially as we were a large group. I had poppadoms, onion bhaji, chicken tikka masala, and naan bread. Good price too.

Ordered take away, delivery on time and was hot when arrived. Lamb Curry was fabulous and chicken korma was melt in the mouth. Had plain Nan and Garlic Nan; pilau rice , and popadoms and onion salad with side sauces. Absolutely gorgeous, would definitely recommend and will order again.

Nice Indian food but not all it was ramped up to be. Some sauces were a bit glupy and the saag aloo was nothing like I’ve had before. Very strange.

We are a local group from Weston who have been doing Wednesday curry nights for 20 years. We went a little more out of our way this night for what a we call a new restaurant (a bushtucker trial) Yeap spice club passed with flying colours. We did the banquet which we do everywhere and choice was pretty good. Had to order a few extra bits as sides or nan not included if you ordered rice but every is different still good value. Curry was lovely Naga madres strength. Hotter than most we have tried but that's fine I always try madras strength first to teat the place. If you like vindaloo. Here madras will probably do you. Really good amount of meat. Seen a few moans when going through reviews about the lack of meat. None of us had a problem with this. Start was good. New places tend to always be the mixed and yeap. A pass too😉 Waiting staff friendly and helpful. Can definitely recommend this place and will be going back. Thank you all at the spice club. Loved it😎

Absolutely one of those OMG! moments. Few words needed. First time I've tried their food and instantly I knew a new high bar had been set. Wonderful!

Firstly I'm surprised how this restaurant has a 4+ rating. Don't know where to start as nothing was good. 1. The staff are very unprofessional, their attitude seems like they don't care about whether the customer visits again. When we mentioned oil is too much in rice, the waiter said it will be like that only. For a restaurant of decent size, they cannot give printed bills. 2. The taste of the food was the worst I have ever had, curry had no taste, vegetable curry was loaded with potatoes, chapatis seemed like heated readymade wraps with no taste, pilau rice had too much oil. 3. Quality and quality, the waiter brought the starters within a few minutes after ordering. Seemed like they just heated the pre cooked. We ordered chicken tikka starter they served 5 tiniest pieces, The volume of 5 pieces was equivalent to a golf ball. I'm not going there again!!

Called in at late notice whilst fishing in the area. Food was excellent and good value

We pre booked for 7pm when arrived the waiter looked at us not welcoming at all and looked as if they didn't have a table and had to ask another colleague where to seat us. We ordered drinks and starters however what I wanted were not available, would have been nice to have been told when we were seated as felt pressured to choose something else while the waiter was standing over me spouting out all the starters. Starters were ok. Then the main( mixed tandoori grill) chicken leg dry, lamb was mutton, chicken dry, one overcooked prawn which was burnt! Half a new potatoe. Oh and a gravy boat of mint sauce, forgotten nann which should have come with. Husbands said his was ok but rice cold. We were never asked if we wanted to see the desert menu or if they had one or if we wanted anything else. Think deliveroo was more of a priority as they they were going up and down the restaurant constantly! Customer service training is well needed, when left the door was opened for us but not a word of thank you bye!

We love this restaurant! Food is amazing! Restaurant clean and staff make you feel so welcome and special! They brought my mum's birthday cake out , turned down the lights and sang! Their takeaway is just as good! Can not fault them!!!!

What a fabulous find ... had the banquet so much choice and very large portions 3 courses for £14.95 plus the most fabulous service from Ezaz spotlessly clean hot plates large selection of well priced drinks ... will be back

As someone has mentioned before, have had better and have had worse. Our three dishes were a touch samey and not the best nans. But nice decor and helpful friendly staff.

I’m not a big fan of Indian food but this is one restaurant I’d visit again. Our son lives in Bridgwater, we live in Derby so when we visit we enjoy a meal out and having been once before we suggested we go again and it was still just as nice as the first time.

2 meals.... My partner had lamb faal, apparently tasted ok, but not much lamb and not that tender... However up twice in the night with explosive diarrhoea .. Mine was something exotic that I hadn't had before... looked terrible, tasted terrible but did eat most of it... cant blame the restaurant at all for me.not liking it... However same complaints.. not much lamb and very firm.... also gave me some brutal gut rot...... Also Quite a bit dearer than other Indians in Bridgwater... Ordered in the shop, but had to wait about 30 mins despite only 2 tables being taken.... and some bizarre confusion between 2 waiters over what the menu said... Won't be going back again...

The worst curry i have ever eaten. Ordered a prawn madras. It was a few prawns in a raw sauce. ( spices not cooked off) seems they use the same sauce for many of the dishes they offer. My partners beer was flat and his jalfrezi looked nothing or tasted like any jalfrezi we have had before. Sorry will not be returning

Food was cold when it arrived. Costing £37.35! There was a hair in the onion salad so thrown away. This was second time of ordering. First time was great. Probably not order from here again.

The atmosphere was none existent, the rice was missed off, the plates were freezing resulting my food was cold underneath, when I got the bill, the small pilau of rice cost me £4.75. They were relying on just eat for business as drivers were coming and going all the time walking through the restaurant, no table clothes, it felt like a fast food venue.

Awful dining experience overall. Waiter who took my order was incredibly rude and seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of bed. The food was over cooked and late. Never attending this place again, there is a much better Indian restaurant down the road called Elachi.

Really friendly staff and exceptionally good food. Lots of unusual dishes on the menu alongside the usual staples, which was exactly what I was looking for. Received a warning and concerned looks when ordering the phal - "Are you sure? It's extremely hot!" Hmmm. Had a small bite to it I guess. Think I'll ask them to double the strength next time!

I was amazed just how good this restaurant is . Most definitely a notch above the average provincial curry house. When we arrived just after 8 pm the whole place was buzzing with happy diners. I think we chose very well our dishes - they were first class. Impressed and would certainly return

Booked table for 8. The interior was nice but not exceptional. Ladies toilet had lots of boxes piled in it. Food was delivered fast and was good. My only niggle was it wasn't that hot. The rice and my Bhuna were merely warm but the curry itself was tasty. Prices were good and the staff were attentive and always on hand for additional drinks. Decent enough but wasn't blown away.

Not bad. Service is a little slow, the food was average. We ordered a range of dishes as there were six people in our group. To be honest, I’ve had better, and I’ve had worse. It was fairly quiet and it has a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The only thing I wasn’t happy with, I felt it was rather hard to get the attention of the waiters. They seemed to spend a lot of time standing chatting together and we had to shout to get their attention. I would probably go again if the others wanted to but I don’t think I would choose this place by myself.

Oderd takeaway at 17:00 via what Spice Club call their own app. Received a confirmation of order via email and was given delivery time of 18:30. Order had not arrived by 19:00, I called to enquire where order was and when to expect. Was then told the online app was not working but I could place order again on phone with revised delivery time, 45 to 60 mins. No apology for the failed delivery. Was told i could contact Chef Online (who apparently the app is operated by) to complain if I wished. Suffice to say I did not order again with the additional wait time. Instead I ordered from an alternative Indian takeaway almost opposite to Spice Club. Was very good and of equal quality. less expensive than Spice Club and no problem with delivery. My message is, things go wrong. I understand that, but when customer service extends to blaming someone else and no apology is offerd it speaks volumes of how your custom is regarded.

Ordered a butter chicken with rice and garlic naan Basically a butter chicken is supposed to be smooth and creamy this was neither it was bitty and sweet for some reason, the chicken wasn't breast it was weird strips Very disappointed in it and defo won't be ordering from there again

Don't eat here! The worse food iv ever eaten, tiny portion of tasteless slop with dry chicken and two cold wet tasteless samosas is not acceptable for £35! this isn't a business with passion for food, this is strictly about maximum profit with no care for the customer.

It is quiet good, but not exactly like Asian/Indian taste of the spices. There is whole lot of spices which will build the actual Asian/Indian food taste, apparently that doesn't seem to be prominent enough.

Service friendly and quick, but a bit pricey. I had a chicken balti - portion size was good, amount of chicken was good but flavour average - not bad but not great either.

Half completed dishes should tell about taste. And there was guy looks like not at all interested in taking the orders. We didn’t ask for free mate 😂. Hardly 3 times we ordered. With kids it isn’t easy to order in one go at least they should understand this. Coming to taste it’s neither good nor bad of the dishes we tasted. Theres a parking few yards away.

Huge menu choice, great portions and decent prices. Staff were friendly and helped me choose my meal as i was stuck between a few different choices. Chosen options did not disappoint, tasted excellent!

Food & service are value for money..!

Order onine ready to collect in 30 minutes, NOT. It was 45 minutes and I assumed the meal hadn't been prepared when we arrived. Well, at least it should be piping hot. A 10 minutes drive home On opening, every cooked component of the meal was barely lukewarm, stodgy and disgusting - frankly utter rubbish. We had to microwave to bring up to a tolerable temperature. Having no alternative we eat as much as we could bear but I would never do this again. Such a shame as we have eaten a number of meals at the restaurant and they have been fine / excellent; this was our first - and last! -takeaway. This establishment now comes under the heading of "never again".

What an utter pile of rubbish £34 for a takeaway rice cold and stodgy 4 pieces of meat in a curry and the rest made up of onion I would be ashamed to serve this up as a meal but never mind about Covid certain...

We visited on a Monday evening and both had the banquet meal: poppadoms and chutneys, a starter, main dish and rice or naan bread. All was delicious, very tasty. Speedy service. The staff were polite and curiously. We would highly recommend the Spice Club and...

Always such lovely service in here, lovely tasty hot food, always smiley and welcoming. We always go here for big group meals and it always comes out together hot and no waiting around between courses. Fantastic.
