I highly recommend the food and wonderful service in this restaurant, we enjoyed a great authentic meal , Shaff was very attentive to our experience, also very reasonable prices .

Had a beautiful meal tonight at Shah Indian restaurant. The food is lovely and full of flavour. We had poppadoms, Chicken Balti, Mushroom rice, Pilau rice and a garlic Naan. The service is fantastic and the staff were fabulous. Would highly recommend. Thank you Shah team, can’t wait to return!

Excellent food, great service, great value for money. Very well looked after by Mr Shaf, absolutely top class service. King Prawn Rojan was my fav dish, but everything was great.

Very friendly welcome. We had 3 children with us aged 2-7 and this was not a problem. Food was fantastic. Did not leave you feeling bloated. Wad Very light and very tasty.

Just ordered this takeaway to my truck, free bottle of beer, very quick delivery and the food was outstanding.

Meal was very rushed before we finished popadoms starters was on the table and we had barely finished starters and main was on trolley beside us.I think they were trying to rush because it was a banquet evening.good food an very attentive staff .We will be back but will not allow them to rush us

Writing this review 90 mins after ordering . Pleasant welcome when arrived . Ordered a tandoori mix starter and a rogan josh with boiled rice and 2 chapatis . The rogan was one of the best . The mixed grill delicious it came with all the side salad and onions and sauces and free poppadom . I know it was a small sample but I would not hesitate to return .

I always order from here when having a curry and I must say it always tastes amazing! I received a bottle of wine for tonight’s meal. Polite always even with changing the order if needed.

Decor v nice and welcoming Staff were friendly Ordered Sheen kebab starter which was ok not the tastiest I’ve ever had but not bad For main ordered Chicken tikka and chips,the Tikka same as the kebab was ok and the chips were more like fries which I’m not a fan off Overall for me the food was ok but nothing special ,

We did not eat in the restaurant but have had take aways from here on several occasions. We were having a family birthday party and asked Shah restaurant to provide the food. After a simple phone call and easy payment the manager gave us a great deal for 10 mains and assorted starters poppadoms dips, nann bread and rice, infact everything and anything. He delivered the food on time and provided two bottles of wine. Everybody was so impressed with the food and service. People had travelled from Bristol, Nottingham and Lincoln to attend the party and each person commented on how superb the flavours and quality of the food was. A mixture of Madras, Rogan josh, Jalfrezzi, Tikka massage, and two kormas all perfect.The Nann bread was everything expected with the quantity if the food exceeding the demand of 10 hungry adults. A great big thank you to the Shah Team. I would have no problem in recommending this for a take away and will be researching the restaurant for a sit down meal next time I'm in Burnham on sea. Definitely the best Curry house around.. GO ON GIVE IT A GO.

We accidentally found Shah on a recent visit. At first we thought it was closed but had a warm welcome from a gentlemen taking deliveries. We had the meal deal of the day. Rogan Josh and Chicken tikka masala, with Rice and Nan. Best curries we have ever had and service, place and drinks 10 out of 10. Shame we live so far away. Stunning.

I ordered a takeaway and they delivered to the campsite I was staying at, absolutely first class service and first class food. I love Indian food and this is one of the best chicken tikka madras I've had in a long time. Very well deserved and highly recommended 👏 👍

We have used shah for many years but unfortunately will not be using again. We stopped sitting in since Ali and shah left due to the poor service so we tried a take away. Got the order wrong and it was all Luke warm chicken was dry and the lamb very fatty. Such a shame new owners have spoilt and great Indian

Made our fourth visit to Shah and have to say agin what a great experience. Food was again excellent with a wide range of choices and Chef specials. Staff are very attentive and good humoured a real joy to eat there defiantly best Indian restaurant in the area.

Visited here with my partner. Food was great, customer service was absolutely awful. We weren't welcomed in at all and they had no idea about our booking. The restaurant was full and it was clear they were unable to cope under the pressure. They were more intrested in serving bigger parties than tables of 2 so we were forgotten about the whole time. Had to ask multiple times to order a drink, then when we did finally order, it took so long to arrive, same happened again with the food, we were seeing larger groups being very well looked after, being asked if they could get them anything, if their food was ok and being served immediately. When the food did arrive it was very nice, couldn't fault it but the time it took just to order was ridiculous, we ordered two of the same mains and 1 side, our table was booked for 7.30pm we didn't get out until almost 10pm! I would not visit again, or recommend based on the service, very disappointed! ***Also if you book online, remember to ask for your deposit to be deducted off your bill as they will NOT deduct it automatically and once paid, it will not be refunded ***

First time we have used Shah, I must say all 3 meals were fabulous, hot tasty and spicy. We usually eat out so I wish you guys would open a restaurant. We will certainly use you again.

My favourite of the Indian restaurants in Burnham. Such friendly staff that look after us, especially my young niece, incredibly well. Delicious food and great atmosphere.

Food was cold, over priced and delivery driver tried to charge extra £2 because I was over 4 miles away but I was only 0.6 miles away, other Indian takeaways in local area you get better service and £10 cheaper

The food was superb. One of the best curry restaurants in Somerset. It should be noted that l have had meals in many of them, and there are many good ones. Excellent service dealing with a big group of us and thus 4 bills to sort out. All handled well and accurately. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

What a find this place is….we will definitely be returning. The food tasted lovely and the staff were really friendly. They gave me free poppadoms,onion salad and chutney as well as a drink. All in all,brilliant place to get well priced lovely food. Highly recommended.

We have known the previous owner for almost 36 years and t have eaten at this Restaurant countless times and the food was always good but we haven’t been there since the pandemic, so we thought we would give it another try. It is now under new management and things have progressed to a new level. It was nice to see one of the original staff who we knew quite well, but most were new. The new menu is quite extensive lots of new choices. I like a hot curry so it was nice to see a Phal on offer. We can’t fault the service and the food is amazing. We will certainly be returning more frequently in future. It is a 28 mile round trip from where we live but that won’t deter of from going.

Stopped in burnham on sea for one night, after a tirring day looking around national trust property and driving. This Restaurant was very nice, food was fresh and tasty and didnt have to wait too long, considering its all cooked fresh when ordered, I had a Vegetable Biryani, which is my favorite and it didnt dissapoint, my husband ordered a lamb dish with garlic and Chillies, he was warned it was hot, but did not heed the warning, there for having to ask for Yogurt to help cool it, This restaurant offers to adjust the spicy heat as required my husband will listen in future to any warnings about the heat,

Ordered through Just Eat. The food arrived in good time. The Chicken Passandra was delicious, Salmon Massala lovely. We also ordered rice and poppadoms and were pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality. We also received complimentary chutney and sauce plus a large bottle of Cobra. All in all a lovely meal at a good price delivered with a smile. Well recommended

Food was ok, but they got the order wrong. Having three apps with different discounts etc. is a bit bonkers and gives a bad experience. Found out it could have been cheaper on a near similar webpage also owned by the takeaway. If they don’t know what their offering is truly worth and need to muck customers around it says something. Just charge the same.

It's not indian restaurant. It's bengali Restaurant it's way too different. Not good food. Every thing looks same and taste same. Not recommended 👎.

I never leave food reviews but Shah is easily my favorite Indian takeaway in Burnham. Not only was their food fantastic, but they also threw in a few papadams, mango chutney, mint sauce, and even a beer all for free! Don’t expect it again next time I order but still great they did it all, very friendly staff.

I go to this restaurant very often. At least once a week. Always great food, service is impeccable. A must go to if visiting Burnham on Sea or surrounding area.

I popped in for lunch. There was a special lunch menu for just £9.95 (starter, main, rice or naan). The portion size was just the same as a normal evening meal. Flavours are outstanding. Really good quality food. Staff are very friendly and take pride in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Found this gem of a place had a takeaway week before so envited our friends for night out at this lovely restaurant staff food really good and professional till we came to pay the bill don't know if he thought we was tourist but we are locals and was going to use this place regularly but sorry was charged a clear £30 pounds more on the bill so sorry won't be going back

The food is amazing! The best Indian cuisine I have had in a very long time. Five star Hygene and really good value. I often go to Birmingham for a curry from South Wales but will definitely be coming here instead. The staff are friendly attentive and make you feel very welcome. Decor is modern and the restaurant is very clean. Going to book again tomorrow, can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I believe it was taken over with a new owner in January 2023 and he had made this place a must visit!

The food was AMAZING , good quality food and a lot cheaper than I’d expect to pay , staff friendly and approachable and even gave us a free bottle of wine , now that’s above and beyond! Highly recommended!

Dinner for one. Very good poppadoms and chutney. The lime pickle one is particularly good. Chili chicken, spot on. Dahl, nice and served very hot. Rice, great. Prompt service. Good value for money.
