Our first stop on a lush evening.. Great choice of local ciders and ales and along with an amazing beer garden with views to die for - what more could you ask for. Such a shame that this has now closed down

Popped in not expecting much from the name other than cider and likely a bit rustic but how wrong could I be! For sure there was cider a plenty but I was blown away with the atmosphere, great service and spotlessly clean, contemporary surroundings. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Food was inexpensive, tasty and hearty. I settled on the chips, egg and home made ham washed down with a cider "Somerset Beauty". Just outstanding and for the price unbeatable in my book. What a find, will definitely return this time in the evening! Thank you Cider Shed for making my visit so memorable.

On a lovely sunny day, sat in the garden with a pint of Wilcox's own cider and had a delicious dinner. Even got proper chips cut straight from spuds like your Mum used to make - no freezer bag or triple cooked nonsense. We had a pint each and two good meals for £18! They also sell a range of preserves, and have cakes, cheeses, butter etc in a cold cabinet. Locals really friendly, had a good chat with a couple of them. A great little place.

Called a Cider Shed, it is leaning towards rustic is most welcoming, wheelchair friendly, pleasant atmosphere, south facing garden with tables, chairs and parasols. To me it feels like visiting friends. Menu is short but has THE most delicious local ham, my favourite chips, and local fresh eggs. Everything I have tried has been ultra fresh. Emphasis is on the family made cider and local beers. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Dogs on leads permitted. Open every day up to 9 pm. Smoking shelter away from the food area.

I started drinking real cider about 7 years ago. I’ve been to various farms/cider producers, and Wilcox produce some of the finest. They’ve got a great set up. I throughly recommend a visit.

Never knew it existed until we stumbled upon it. We were welcomed and made to feel at home. Their bottled cider was £2.50 a pint and very nice. We went Sunday lunchtime and it was very busy with lots of couples and families. We didn’t have food but it looked really nice. Definitely worth a trip or pop in if passing

My good friend assured me that this would be a good spot for a light snack and some drinks on my birthday afternoon. He was correct. What a warm welcome and very personable service. I have since returned and have been greeted by name every time. What a spot, and still a relative secret. Good cheese, beer and of course.... cider! It's like Somerset of old, REAL Somerset!

Well received by the staff and locals present. My wife thought the bottled Somerset Beauty was the best cider she has ever tasted and she has tried a few over the years. Did not eat there but the cheese and other local produce looked promising.

The menu is usually limited to Ploughman's, Baguettes and Cream Teas, but if you would like a great value, good light lunch (I guarantee you'll go away feeling well fed) or a super cream tea, in a relaxed atmosphere this is the place.Easy to reach just yards off the A38 Bristol/Taunton road, you will suddenly find yourself in a comfortable country environment. Sit inside or out, enjoy the peace and quiet, with a glass of 'made on the spot' cider or apple juice, coffee or tea, there is something for everyone. Local produce, home made goodies and welcoming staff - what's not to like?

Well what can I say... my boyfriend and I stumbled across this gem whilst heading somewhere else. We ended up staying the night in our van, drinking home brewed cider, barn dancing and of course smiling and laughing till our cheeks hurt. Everyone we met at the cider shed was super friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place to anyone who loves to sit back and enjoy the good things in life (especially cider & cheese!) We got shown round and introduced to the chickens and lambs in the morning which made our day, finished off with breakfast and recommendations for the local area. If we are ever down south again we will deffinatly call in! Shout out to wendy and mike (legends)

We stumbled on this gem when driving through country side one Sunday in early spring sunny day. The cider was not to my taste but then I'm not fan of ciders anyway, however the pie was amazing. Really homely feel to the place. Will definitely be returning.

We were invited by family for lunch here and I am so glad we were or we may never of found this lovely little place.Very friendly staff who were very welcoming. Food is great, small menu limited to mainly Pie & Mash and Ploughmans and this perfectly suits this charming place. Beautiful cheese, pickles and jams to buy and of course plenty of cider, and whilst I didn't taste any of this myself (driving) it was given the seal of approval from my cider loving husband. Can't wait to visit again, particularly in summer to sit outside and enjoy the views. I'll be making sure I book a taxi!!

We visited Lana's in Bridgwater on a friend's recommendation. It was a real pleasure. We ordered two delicious ice-cream sundaes. They offer interesting flavours such as candy floss, rhubarb, birthday cake ice-creams (Yes you read correctly!). The sundae includes different syrups, different toppings and finishes. Decisions, decisions! I just loved my custard and rhubarb sweets on top... Lana's also offers milkshakes, waffles, hot puddings, hot drinks, jacket potatoes and toasted sandwiches. They use real dairy ice-creams (Marshfield farm), however also including 6 vegan ones and 10 gluten free ones. They have gluten-free cakes and offer different syrups for your lattes, including gingerbread syrup. The service is fantastic, friendly yet professional. The setting is relaxing yet cosy, love the colours on the walls! Finally, the prices are reasonable. You can park for free in the Aldi car park, just nearby. Go on and support a small local independent business, you won't be disappointed.
