My husband and I used to rent a vacation house in Cornwall . Driving from London we would always stop in Bridgwater primarily to go to Piggy's. The quiche and desserts were always wonderful. As was the staff. I would love to go there again, but, realistically, I could not drive from London anymore. So worth a visit!

I was planning on only having some toast with fried eggs but ended up ordering a vegan breakfast and a massive hot chocolate!!! The service was quick and the lady was very friendly and chatty. Food arrived within 10 minutes. Very nice and fresh. It was my first visit to Piggy's and definitely not the last ☺️

This is my top choice for gluten-free homemade cake and quiche. The owner is delightful and the food divine. They’ve just introduced a coffee and baileys cake and it’s fab

We went to Piggys in Bridgwater on wednesday 20th December for lunch before we went to see the panto at mcmillan thearte. We all had quiche and salad but it was to much as lots of salad leaves/lettue. Also they do almond milk as i have almond milk in my hot drink. The cakes looks nice too. Will be back soon.

Having travelled the world and eaten in some of the best restaurants around, I can honestly say Piggy’s just served me the BEST food I’ve ever eaten. So fresh, tasty and absolutely amazing value for money. You’ll be doing yourselves an injustice if you don’t go here to eat!

I've walked by Piggy's in Bridgwater so many times and decided to pop in yesterday for an afternoon cuppa. I sat upstairs on one if the sofas by the window and ordered a pot if tea with skimmed milk on the side plus a slice of Victoria sponge. Very pleased to hear skimmed milk available when so often it's only semi skimmed available. The lady who served me was very friendly and welcoming. Service was at a good pace and the establishment was clean and well laid out. I didn't visit the toilet so cannot comment on this. Portion size of the cake was very generous and nicely presented with sliced strawberry and strawberru syrup. The Victoria sponge cake tasted really nice and I enjoyed my pot of tea. I was pleased to have a little Biscoffi bic on the side of my cup. Price for a pot of tea and cake was just over £6 which I considered very reasonable. My only quibble would be the radio playing upstairs was a little loud for my liking. Maybe just personal preference but I'd rather it was a little more muted. I'd certainly not knock off a star for this though and I will return to Piggy's at some point soon. 5/5 review from me.

A lovely sandwich bar that my family stumbled across whilst visiting Bridgwater. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the cafe is clean, spacious with lots of seating and it’s dog friendly! The food was excellent, presented lovely and tasted amazing. Lots of lovely homemade cakes & quiches. Great value for money with brilliant service from start to finish. Highly recommend a visit!

We called in for a drink and a toasted tea cake. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and our drinks and tea cake were brought to our table. The pot of tea even came with a mint chocolate which we thought was a very nice touch. The tea and tea cake were both served nice and hot. Also had a cold drink which was served with a slice of lemon and ice if you wanted it. Very clean toilets. They also do takeaways. Plenty of tables and chairs - inside, upstairs and even outside. A good selection on the menu including a design your own breakfast where you can pick the items you want. We shall definitely be going back.

I look forward to a 'Piggy's lunch'. I'm gluten free and they have a great selection of choices from jacket potatoes to quiche and cakes too. I am a particular fan of their gluten free mushroom quiche, which I would usually have with a salad box. The salad box is stuffed full of fresh yumminess including a lovely coleslaw if you wish. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Pricing is fair. It's a shame it's not open at weekends.

Wow! Were we lucky to drop on this place. A cracking little sandwich shop offering inside seating or takeaway. Everything home baked and all salads and sandwiches made to order. Very tasty sandwiches, baguettes, salads, choose your own fillings. These are very generously filled sandwiches which taste really great. They also do quiche and jackets etc. Hot and cold drinks to take-away or have on premises. Very reasonably priced. If only he lived near to me, I'd be having my sandwiches from their all the time.

We arrived on a rainy Monday night after a wet and weary walk from Weston. We were given a warm welcome and the pizzas were absolutely awesome. We'd definitely be regulars if we lived locally.

We visited Lana's in Bridgwater on a friend's recommendation. It was a real pleasure. We ordered two delicious ice-cream sundaes. They offer interesting flavours such as candy floss, rhubarb, birthday cake ice-creams (Yes you read correctly!). The sundae includes different syrups, different toppings and finishes. Decisions, decisions! I just loved my custard and rhubarb sweets on top... Lana's also offers milkshakes, waffles, hot puddings, hot drinks, jacket potatoes and toasted sandwiches. They use real dairy ice-creams (Marshfield farm), however also including 6 vegan ones and 10 gluten free ones. They have gluten-free cakes and offer different syrups for your lattes, including gingerbread syrup. The service is fantastic, friendly yet professional. The setting is relaxing yet cosy, love the colours on the walls! Finally, the prices are reasonable. You can park for free in the Aldi car park, just nearby. Go on and support a small local independent business, you won't be disappointed.
