Alex's bbq and tapas bar in Sedgemoor

Can't fault the service or the food - absolutely excellent. Yesterday was our second time eating here in the last few months, and we were equally impressed both times. The best steak for miles and also exceptional side dishes of mushroom risotto, Mediterranean vegetables and roasted new potatoes! Beautiful interior styling on the bar, relaxing ambience with candles and great music!

We recently moved to Bridgwater (during Covid) and haven't been able to go into any restaurants to try the food. We went on to our food delivery app to see if there was anything we fancied, when we came across Alex's. The burgers and sides seemed so amazing, we had to put an order in. We ordered two smoked-cheese burgers, and I can honestly say, I've been thinking about them ever since. Amazing quality meat, you can tell they are fresh. The buns were amazing, didn't fall apart. The fries and coleslaw... if I wasn't so full, I would've licked the box they came in and finished them all. We even had peanut cheesecake for pudding, and my girlfriend also ate the bit I left! Honestly, I'm trying to limit the amount of food I order from takeaways, but Alex may see me as a regular customer often! I want to try the whole menu, and I'll be reserving a table as soon as lockdown is lifted.

We had a beautiful meal absolutely delicious. The burgers were juicy without being greasy. The corn on the cob was delicious and buttery and the chips were out of this world. Definitely be reordering from here again!

Tried for the first time tonight and it’s definitely the Best Takeaway I’ve had in Bridgwater, from Packaging to Quality of the food, couldn’t fault a single thing. Strongly recommend to everyone!!

Visited here with my boyfriend and was so impressed. Every mouthful tasted gorgeous, the meat was quality and the owner is really friendly. Highly recommend the beef sirloin! We will definitely be coming back!

Alex’s tapas bar is a lovely and relaxed place , one of the best in town! I spent a couple of hours with a friend there and even had my 2 month old baby with me and felt really relaxed . Nice atmosphere and Alex , the owner, is very friendly and helpful! The place is nice and clean and Alex cooks everything from fresh . Would highly recommended and I will be back very soon for sure.

The sausage platter was very nice. All cooked over coals which adds loads of flavour. Owner very friendly and knew his stuff.
