Shakeaway in Thurrock

If you could give this place minus then that’s the way it would be! I really don’t know how a shop like this is still running based on the reviews but I’m not one to judge on reviews! I went down there yesterday to try one of the shakes…. I was greeted by a young woman who had a stinking attitude who looked like she couldn’t be bothered to her job. Once the shake was served I took it back to the car to enjoy. Little did I know the smell of it like the milk was 3 months out of date half of the ingredients was barely blended! I should have walked away before ordering after seeing how dirty the shop was! I phoned the shop to speak to the manager to be told “ we don’t have a manager in the store currently” only a supervisor who weren’t worth speaking to ! I really don’t know how a business can run like this i definitely would never recommend this shop unless you want to be off work and certainly don’t take your kids there!!!

Well where do I start, first things first customer service skills from the staff is beyond a joke. It took ages for them to acknowledge I was even there and then when they finally did it’s like they couldn’t be bothered to do their job. Secondly I need to clarify that I am very disappointed with how the milkshake turned out. I can’t believe what I tasted. I’m sure they used gone off milk which left the milkshake tasting very sour and absolutely dreadful. After one sip I was a bit unsure so I tried a second sip and have now been left with a bad stomach for the past 3 days. When approaching the shop about said matter they did not want to help or even attempt to apologise. Utterly disgusted with shakesway especially after the astonishing prices we pay for the milkshake. My advice to anybody would be to avoid this place as I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience what I have. Trading standards are going to be contacted about the hygiene issues.

Avoid these idiots. Asking VIP customer for proof of purchase over a £5 shake is pathetic and insulting . They are not selling expensive high end luxury goods for gods sake. They could not run a bath . Terrible attitude from terrible people who are in the wrong job . Go to McDonald oppersite and save £3 for a milk shake which is just as good as shakaway and without the insults too.

Poor service, waited about half hour for a milkshake that was then only filled to about halfway. After taking a sip of pure disappointment I then found several bits of foil in my shake.

Nobody behind the counter and waited ages before someone appeared to serve us. We had never sampled one of these milkshakes before and she was unhelpful and couldn't be less interested if she had tried. I went to sit on a nearby bench whilst she prepared the two milkshakes that we ordered - another long wait. The milkshakes themselves were OK but frankly nothing special! We watched from the nearby bench as more Customers arrived and waited and waited... Truly awful service!

from ordering our shake to receiving it took 20 minutes. Served by unhelpful staff who could not find a chopping board so squeezed my chocolate bar in her hands then dropped into the blender resulting in lumps of mars bar in a cup of milk. Too busy to listen to complaint i will not return.anyone thinking of stopping would be advised to purchase a milkshake from mc donalds across the hall and dip a mars bar into that as that is what i got.

Echamos de menos las que cerraron en nuestro shakeaway ciudad, así que nos quedamos muy contentos de encontrar este en Lakeside. Tuve un pastel de jengibre, hija había batido de oreo y chocolate. Ambos eran de tamaño normal, muy abundante!El personal era amable, pero era cada vez más intensa con ellos que nos comprometía en la conversación. Llegó a 2 minutos temblaba de ordenar.
